“Castellare de Sernigi” is an ancient Tuscan villa on the Chianti hills, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, enjoying a wonderful view of the typical countryside. This accommodation is part of a small group of houses with a bell tower and small church. Restoration works have kept the original architecture and typical construction materials turning it into a fascinating holiday villa recalling the charm of the past and at the same time rendering it rich in comforts and services, such as air conditioning in all the rooms. Its geographical position, between Florence and Siena, makes it an ideal choice for large families or groups of friends who love alternating rest with excursions in these two of the most famous art cities. Moreover, just a few kilometres away are also many small towns rich in history, such as San Gimignano and Monteriggioni, where gastronomy is one with the charm of the landscape. A beautiful garden is at the guests’ disposal with a swimming pool (15 x 7, 1.10 – 1.20m deep)(15/05-15/10) with an outdoor shower, two gazebos and a barbeque. Only a short distance away from the house is a tennis court which can be used by the guests against payment and upon advance reservation. The accommodation has central heating, air conditioning and wi-fi Internet connection. Included in the price are 2 hours/day of cleaning (excluding Sundays and national holidays) and welcome basket.
It is possible to have a chef, cookery courses and a babysitter upon request.
PLEASE NOTE: only small pets are allowed and advised upon arrival. The pet must be sociable with other animals because the owner’s dog is often on the premises. In the medium and low season periods, it is possible to use (against payment and by requesting it in advance) the owner's heated swimming pool located about 50 meters away.ACCOMMODATION: (550 m2) Gr.Fl.: entrance from a courtyard, furnished with tables and chairs, living room, dining room with fireplace (which cannot be used), well-equipped kitchen with pantry and leading directly outside, laundry, 1 bedroom with two beds (which can be joined) with bathroom with bath and shower, WC. From the ground floor, some steps lead to a bedroom with two beds with bathroom with shower (this room is simply furnished and is ideal for kids). Also from the ground floor, the cellar can be reached where there is the oil and wine produced by the enterprise which the guests can use against payment.
