Oceanfront condo sleeps up to 10 people with king bed in master bedroom, 2 double beds in bedroom 2, and 2 twin beds in bedroom 3. The unit is equipped with a rollaway bed. Each bedroom has a private bath with a tub/shower combination in each. The beach is steps away from your Ocean One patio at this oceanfront complex in South Forest Beach. With patios off the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Ocean One 119 enjoy easy access to the beach as well as the oceanfront swimming pool. After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the freshwater pool.
Ocean One has added a brand new grilling area to the complex just beyond the pool.
Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. Perfect location.

Walk to restaurants and shops, and RBC shuttle. Condo is spacious with a great view of ocean. Pool was nice, and fire pits a huge plus. Could use some updates, but was clean and had every we needed. Loved having a washer and dryer. Will stay again.

Great location

The property is a little dated but you can see that from the pictures and was expected. The cleaning service leaves a lot to be desired as there were many areas that clearly were not touched in months.

This location and unit were amazing! The pictures did not do it justice. All of the rooms were large. There was more than enough space for us. I could tell the bathroom in the master had a new shower and floors put in we could not be happier with our stay. Thank you!!!

Nice condo on the beach

Overall great location! Nice pool and beautiful beach. Clean and comfortable. Would stay here again. Would like to see a few more minor amenities, like extra sheets, pillow cases, beach towels and lawn chairs or umbrella available for the beach, needed to rent. They did have a small collection of beach toys/floaties, etc. Also had to buy laundry soap/dish soap. They give you a very small amount but not enough if you're using the beach and/or cooking there.

GET THE TRIP INSURANCE

Word to the wise, make sure you get trip insurance that covers weather. Ian closed the HHH airport for 2 days so all of our flights were canceled. HHI was under a hurricane warning and a surge warning. The property managers were unwilling to reschedule our trip for another time so we are just out all of the money.

Some features were rather out of date, but that did not affect our overall satisfaction of the condo. We had several issues arise (sink wouldn’t drain, fridge wouldn’t close well) while we were there and the rental company was quick to send someone out to fix these things! I would recommend this property and our group plans to stay here again!

Like cockroaches? I hate leaving a review like this, but after not getting any response from the owner, I must. Had I been warned, I would have avoided this property and had a much better vacation. On first entering and walking to the kitchen, we saw our first cockroach. I killed a handful the next day/evening and reported it to the text number on Saturday morning. They couldn't have someone out until Monday (our last day). Sunday was then awful, as I killed another 6. These were roaches wandering into the kitchen, living room, and even one in my bathroom! My family was completely disgusted and on edge--worried about going to sleep. This ruined the latter portion of our trip. I messaged the owner through VRBO and included pictures, but now 72 hours later, still no response. I travel to Florida and SC 1-2 times per year and I've even stayed in this Ocean One building before (different condo), so I know some bugs are expected, but this was a different level. Before renting this any further, the owner needs to invest time making small repairs throughout the house, cleaning or replacing the carpet, and most improtantly, addressing the utility room, which had dozens of dead roaches and was covered in their feces. There's water damage, loose panels, and other issues that are almost certainly the root of this infestation. Instead, they have just sprayed foam sealant around edges, which is a poor bandaid to this problem.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love the location of this unit, but there really are some issues that need to be addressed. Please see list below.Overall cleanliness!!! Unit needs new carpeting and tile needs deep cleaning or should be replaced. Tile and grout are just nasty as is the carpet. Kitchen countertops with tile and grout are unsanitary and just ground in with dirt.Cabinets in both secondary bathrooms have drawer fronts missing or drawers unable to open. Faucet in one secondary bathroom cannot be adjusted at all and squirts out!Furniture in living room is also very stained and dirty and should be updated.TV in bedroom with twin beds did not work.Pocket door in bedroom with two queen beds very hard to open!That bathroom also missing floor moldings; feels & looks very dirty.In comparison to the other units rented in our group, this unit was far below standards! This unit is almost not habitable and should not be rented until reviewed and addressed. Should have asked for money back. We rented other units on this property that were great!

The ground floor unit was great with kids for some easy outdoor play. Unfortunately, the unit itself really needs a deep cleaning, a week of aggressive cleaning and upgrading would benefit. I believe the primary bedroom has bed bugs, so that added a negative and extra attention on my part when I returned home. Thelarge pantry space across from the washer & dryer has some rubber coated shelving that is dripping in old dirt & grease, so not usable. I'm amazed that the black console table in LR with expensive electronics on it is even standing, it is extremely unstable with loose leg joints.The management company, Seashore Vacations were very easy to work with and responsive to my questions. The negative about the unit's condition I am addressing now, after staying there. I would not rent that unit again in its current condition.

My son in law got locked in one because of a faulty door for almost three hours. The emergency number given us did not respond and we had to have the Sheriffs department come get the door down. We do expect the doors to be operational when you pay $6000 dollars for a week.

Reviewer Comments: Realize this unit is right off the beach and pool, but the tile floors need replacing. Our bare feet were dirty the first day and we had to wear shoes the rest of the week. Furniture is also in need of a steam cleaning or replaced. Walls definitely need painted after this season. Washer (looked new) and dryer worked well, but dishwasher did not dry the dishes and we had to towel dry...something I did not want to do on vacation. Dishes were also a mishmash, but I guess we had everything we needed. Sliding door handle was loose, but we found a tool to tighten it temporarily. Drawer fronts in bathrooms kept falling off. We were disappointed the pool closed early and opened late and the fire pits were seasonal.

Reviewer Comments: Pros: Beachfront, Ground floor unit with easy access from patio to pool and beach, spacious unit, complex grounds are beautifully landscaped, location on the island- very central.Cons: I have been staying in Ocean One for over 20 years and this is the first unit that has been a large disappointment in many ways. 3 out of 5 major appliances were not in working order. Dishwasher: Water does not heat up so dishes remain greasy after wash cycle. The advice the management company gave was to run the hot water in the kitchen sink prior to running dishwasher. My advice: install a properly working dishwasher, no one wants to do workarounds on their vacation. Washing Machine: Spin cycle is very, very noisy and thus does not spin and clothes in washer remain soaking wet after a wash cycle completes. We stayed for 2 weeks in this unit and after the first week the management company stopped contacting me back about replacing the washing machine. If you want to do laundry on this vacation, don't book this unit, you'll not have a working washer. Dryer: Take 3.5 hours or more to dry clothes- whether due to ineffective ventilation or that clothes are too wet after washing machine cycle- you'll spend a lot of time waiting for your beach towels to dry. Other cons: Bathroom cabinet faces are falling off the drawers; there is peeling paint on several walls; mattress are old and uncomfortable; kitchen is il-equipped with cheap/in-expensive kitchen items. As a note, the pool at the complex closes at sundown (around 8:30pm)- which is earlier than I ever remember it closing. We attempted both in email and in phone calls to have the management company address the problems including remuneration for rental fees and the management company stopped contacting us back. I'm unimpressed. Save yourself the headache by selecting a different option.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great but the unit was very tired and needed a lot of TLC. Many things were in bad shape or did not work. I understand that renting a unit on the Ocean with sand and suntan lotion can be a challenge but they made that decision to rent so they need to step up and update the unit. Been staying in Ocean One for over 30 years but feel like they may be pricing me out of the market. Have to give the unit one star.

Thanksgiving 2022 with family in unit 119!
