Beautiful grounds

We were looking for a stay away from it all. That's exactly what we found. The grounds are beautiful to walk around, the cabin had everything we needed. We took the short drive to Max Patch for a little adventure. There are not many choices for restaurants or grocery stores. I suggest bringing the drinks and snacks you like and stop at the Ingles for grocery items. If you do go out, Dave's 209 diner isn't all that far and has great burgers. Overall we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. It was just what we needed to get away from it all and our teenage kids for a bit.

This cabin is an amazing place to stay. This was our second time staying here and it was just as wonderful as the first. If you need somewhere to just turn off and relax look no further. I highly recommend this cabin!

Perfect for a couple

This is a beautiful property surrounded by nature. Perfect for a couple wanting to get away from it all. The cabin is adorable, spotless, and with a great kitchen. The surrounding countryside is gorgeous with just the right amount of people. The hosts were very nice and responsive.

Wonderful Getaway

Peaceful Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I chose Magic Winding Falls for our anniversary getaway, and it was everything we hoped for and more. Tucked away in Hot Springs, NC, this cabin provided the perfect setting for a romantic escape. With a cozy fireplace and a private waterfall, every moment was pure relaxation. The hosts thought of everything, and the location was ideal for exploring the area. Our anniversary trip was unforgettable, thanks to Magic Winding Falls!

Mountain getaway

A definite gold star rating!

My husband & I celebrated our honeymoon at Winding Falls Cabin in 2017. Seven years later, we wanted to return to this very special place. It was just as we remembered - so quaint and cozy with the perfect attention to the little details that make you feel so welcomed. To hear the waterfalls from the front porch to the coziness of the kitchen and living space, this cabin is the absolute perfect getaway. It's become "our place" and we already look forward to our next visit.

Cozy mountain cabin

Cozy, quiet cabin was perfect for our Thanksgiving vacation! Property manager was welcoming and very responsive to questions. Beautiful setting with waterfalls and hiking trails. In a fairly remote location but was just what we wanted. Hope to be back again soon!

This cabin is gorgeous!

The wife and I loved staying here and sitting on the porch looking at the beauty. The space is very comfortable, and the heating works wonderfully. Really enjoyed the fireplace and seclusion. The waterfall was a bit of a hike, but very pretty. If you want to get away, this is your place. We really enjoyed the little town of Hot Springs nearby.

Little slice of paradise

My significant other and I had such a great relaxing time at this cabin. The property is beautiful! We loved having our coffee every morning on the porch and watching the humming birds. We explored the property and the water feature, which was so cool! Such a great place to stay, far enough to feel secluded but close enough it’s not too far of a drive to town or a hiking spot. The owners are so kind and responsive if you happen to need anything during your stay.

Getaway in the mountains

Gorgeous cabin in even more beautiful surroundings. Cabin is a little out of the way, but the seclusion is wonderful. Property itself is lovely from the cabin itself to the river that runs through. If you enjoy scenic drives, its a great launching pont for Hot Springs, Asheville, and Great Smoky Mountains NP. If you just want to stay in is spacious and the river is delightful. Strongly recommended!

This was my third stay at this special retreat property-trails with waterfalls and beautiful mountains and private. Prompt communication with Leigh who came right away when I had a question about the propane stove. Well stocked and so cozy. I will return!

Wooded Wonderland

This location is perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the everyday rat race. The trails, waterfalls, and super cool cabin are perfect for slowing your pace and enjoying nature. We ventured into Marshall and enjoyed a 5 mile tube ride on the French Broad. (Mad Co Tubing). Stay here…you won’t regret it!!

Quiet and Peaceful

This charming cabin is located deep in the woods, a fair jaunt from civilization. It is a quiet tranquil respite, with comfortable amenities. Sitting on the porch and enjoying sunrise with a cup of Tea listening to nothing but the quiet sounds of nature was our favorite part. If you are looking for a place to unplug and relax look no further. There are several paths through the woods and along a river that are lovely and a great perk to this cabin.

Amazing cabin to stay!

Cabin is wonderful! Everything we were looking for with all the comforts of home. Secluded, quite and cozy. Supplied with everything we needed and cleaner than most cabins and we have been vacationing in rentals for almost 40 years. Set up for special guests not just renters. Leigh made everything easy and made us feel welcomed. The trails and falls are magical. Would most definitely recommend to anybody looking for a special place to visit.

30 year Anniversary trip

Our first trip to the area and the cabin and scenery was perfect. Cabin was exactly how it was advertised and the owners were very responsive with a couple of minor issues we had during the week. We ate a few lunches at the picnic table by the waterfall and hiked all the property trails. Get your groceries before getting to the cabin as the nearest grocery store is a commute due to the windy mountain roads. We absolutely loved this cabin and spent quite a few hours just sitting on the porch listening to nature.

Secluded Oasis

My husband and I could not have found a more magical and secluded slice of heaven. The owners were exceptionally helpful and we arrived to a spotlessly clean home with all the amenities you could ask for. All the little touches they so thoughtfully put into our stay made it all the more wonderful. The bridges and trails on property surpassed even the local must see attractions by far. Such serenity sitting on the porch and listening to the waterfalls and the hummingbirds every morning. We can’t wait to go back to this hidden gem.
