Secluded Romantic Cabin with Hot Tub and Pet Friendly

The Mountain Rock is a beautiful secluded cabin located approximately 1/4 mile from the Appalachian trail & 7 miles from Hot Springs, NC. Tucked away in the mountains surrounded by the forests and a serene meadow frequented by wild life. Relax, unwind and immerse yourself in this romantic getaway; see and listen to the sound of nature from the porch, fire ring or hot tub! Pet friendly!!

The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals and has a gas grill for cooking outside. The bedroom has a queen bed with all the linens you will need for your stay.

The front porch overlooks the meadow where you will often see deer and other wildlife. The hot tub is located on the rear porch and has lots of privacy.

There is a TV with satellite TV and a full size washer and dryer

Pets are allowed for a $15 fee.

Everything was as stated in our communication. If I needed an answer Harold responded promptly. It was secluded and was allowed to have my dog as well. As well as us, he loved the quiet and the open land to play. We will be looking to come back.

This was the second time me and my wife stayed here. We absolutely love this cabin for a close weekend get away. When we arrived they had the heat going with the electric fireplace on for a warm welcome. A snowstorm hit the night of arrival and the next morning they called to check on us to ensure we didn’t have any problems and that everything was working properly. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub even while it was snowing. Highly recommend if planning on visiting the Hot Springs, NC area. Only being 15 minutes from town it’s perfect for a private relaxing time outside of town, but close enough to get any needs. Can’t wait to be able to book another weekend.

Loved staying in this cabin! Very private, and very clean. You can see every star in the sky while sitting in the hot tub. The inside of the cabin had everything needed - pots and pans, dishes, washer and dryer, towels, TV, and more. There was even a roll of doggie poop bags. It is only about a 2.5 mile drive to the Pisgah National Forest, and about a 20 minute drive to Hot Springs. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit that part of NC.

Nice little getaway

Great clean place to stay over the weekend. We had our dog with us & it was absolutely perfect. The cabin is tucked away in the mountains with several hiking trails near by. We would definitely recommend staying here
