Monplaisir is a beautiful bourgeois house built around 1850, which once served as a straw factory. Transformed into a bright and attractive accommodation, the entire apartment occupies the upper floor of the house with countryside views from both sides. Furnished with a kitchenette, a dining area, a comfortable living room with TV and WiFi, a large bedroom, shower and bath, the apartment offers you all the comforts. Enjoy the large garden where you can really relax in peace and quiet without being disturbed, and take your meals on the terrace if you want.
When you want to move, we offer bike, foot or kayak tours in the beautiful Lot or Célé valley.
Enjoy the fresh fruit and vegetables from our vegetable garden or, if you don't feel like cooking, treat yourself with a meal prepared by the owner, a cooking graduate, using fresh products from the market and the garden, accompanied wines from the region.

Lovely apartment, very nicely furnished, it's light and airy and full of character. Being on the 4th floor with windows on both sides, it has great views but the downside is you don't have immediate access to an outside space. There is an allocated terrace at the front of the house but it's not very welcoming, has no views (overlooks the road) and only gets sun in the afternoon. The swimming pool and the lovely terrace at the back of the house are only for the guests staying in the stone barn. Parking is on the road but it is a small quiet road running through the village so it wasn't a problem. Be prepared to drive as there are no facilities in the village apart from one shop selling bread (limited opening). Check dates of local Feast/Saints days. We got caught out with everything being shut, including some of the local roads! It would have been nice to be warned about this. Pretty countryside - lots of medieval towns to visit, caves, river trips, wineries etc. Very quiet location - only sounds at night were owls and animals.

La vallée du Lot, on adore !

Un appartement coquet, spacieux et fonctionnel...des hôtes attentionnés..un environnement calme et propice au repos, nous avons passé une excellente semaine. Ambeyrac est idéal pour de belles randonnées à vélo le long du Lot et du Célé. Nous avons envie d'y revenir.

we think we were very lucky to find such great accommodation in such a beautiful spot.Marion and Martin were lovely hosts, very relaxed and friendly and happy to share their knowledge of the area,which we had never visited before but it will definitely be a region we will visit again. The apartment was well thought out, very comfortable,light and airy and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the jam it was really delicious as was the local wine, a really nice touch and next time we visit we would love to try your cooking,it smelt delicious..Thank you also for helping us with our mobile phone problems as we aren't fluent in French. All in all a great stay and we will have lovely memories of our visit.
