About this property

Located in peaceful Chalet Village, The Dancing Bear is nestled on the side of a mountain and offers gorgeous views. It is a relaxing oasis yet close to all the fun. It is a 1 minute drive to Ober Gatlinburg which offers year round activities. Downtown Gatlinburg is a short 5 minute drive down Ski Mountain Rd. The Smokey Mountain park entrance is at the base of Ski Mountain Rd allowing for quick day trips into the park for hiking, or exploring Cades Cove. The Gatlinburg by-pass is nearby allowing a shorter drive to Pigeon Forge and avoiding traffic congestion. Our cabin features BEAUTIFUL VIEWS , wifi internet, hot-tub, game room, pool table, and an indoor dry sauna. Each bedroom has a king-size bed. The living room has a sleeper sofa to accommodate additional guests. It has a fully equipped kitchen as well as a washer and dryer for laundry. During the summer months, guests have access to Chalet Village swimming pools. Come enjoy the Smokey Mountains in this relaxing, luxury cabin. (please read rental agreement when booking). Recommend 4 X 4 wheel drive vehicles in the winter.

Beautiful Mountain Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dancing Bear! It was just what we needed for our vacation following a busy season of life! The view off the deck was stunning whether sunrise or sunset. The kitchen was well stocked and we needed for nothing. The pool table and stocked games were a fun addition, and PAC-man was a blast from our past! Though it was just the two of us, it would be a perfect space to bring our kids or even another couple. We so enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Another Wonderful Stay

This is our second time staying at this property and we absolutely loved it (again)! Jim and his family really strive to provide the best guest experience and his cabin along with the views and location is simply AMAZING!
