Quiet gîte in old farmhouse (suitable for PMR)

Welcome to our house in Morbier, in the heart of the Haut Jura Natural Park near Switzerland. Located away from the village at the foot of the forest Risoux and surrounded by meadows, enjoy the peace and tranquility of our rental available to people with disabilities. The village of Morbier overlooks the Bienne valley and the town of Morez (head of the canton) .The site is easily recognizable thanks to the mountains that surround them and the silhouette of the railway viaducts. Morbier is known for its cheese, black stripe, the Nordic ski and watches. Our medium mountain region with its charms will seduce you with its wide range of outdoor activities, hiking, biking, golf, horse riding, fishing, swimming, climbing, kayaking, cross country or downhill, snowshoeing.


With a rich natural heritage from mountains and forests, lakes and waterfalls, caves and remote, vineyards and bogs, a diverse choice for green tourism enthusiasts and lovers of beautiful scenery (waterfalls of the Hedgehog, Lake Chalain the secluded Baume les Messieurs, the cave Moidons ...) Viaducts, castles, salt, cathedrals, forts, citadel are truly rich heritage. Swore has various museums exhibiting history, tradition and craft or industrial heritage through sometimes exceptional collection.
Our region is also a range of local products to taste or take away: Morbier, Comté, Mont d'Or, Bleu de Gex, Morteau sausages, wines, sparkling wines, yellow wine for most products AOC have all the sweetness and roundness of the Jura Mountains. They also have their fraternities, their festivals, museums and roads (County road, Wine Route, Route firs ...)

Grands espaces et logement très propre c’est tellement agréable

3 nuits à 9, 2 familles, super endroit (le soleil était au rendez-vous) les 2 salles de bains sont éloignées ainsi que les 2 chambres pour les « adultes » c’est hyper appréciable lorsqu’on est avec des amis. le couple est très sympathique disponible et pas du tout envahissant. Le logement a tout le nécessaire et est très fonctionnel. Franchement c’est exactement ce que l’on attend d’une location. C’est parfait. Un grand merci à Marine et Thomas et leur bambino 😍 Nous avons fait la balade aux cascades des hérissons magnifique mais un monde!!!! De dingue! Et une autre balade celle des trois lacs très agréable. Y’a mille et une balades aux alentours. Un bon moment de détente et d’air frais.

Nous étions un groupe d'amis et tout ce que je peux dire c'est que nous avons passé un séjour au top. Le gîte est d'une propreté exceptionnelle, les chambres sont spacieuses. Le cadre est magnifique : en bordure de forêt, belles balades à faire dans les bois, nous avons vu renards et chamois. Pleins de belles choses à faire dans les environs. Les propriétaires sont très sympa et disponible. Bref je recommande vivement ce logement.

Gîte confortable et environs magnifiques

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié nous retrouver en famille autour de la grande tablée du gîte au coin du feu. Un espace que nous avons largement occupé pendant notre séjour car malheureusement, la météo n'était vraiment pas au rdv. Dommage, car nous aurions aimé découvrir davantage les environs du gîte qui son magnifiques ! Le moins qu'on puisse dire c'est que la localisation est champêtre. À tel point que nous avons observé chamois, renard et autres biches le temps de notre court séjour. Enfin, les échanges avec les propriétaires étaient très cordiaux et nous avons même eu droit à un panier surprise à notre arrivée. Je recommande fortement cette location.

Relaxing holiday in Morbier

Spacious and well equipped gite with good quality linen and beds. All kitchen equipment and bathroom facilities modern and effective. Wonderful peaceful setting - ground floor of farmhouse with owners upstairs and surrounded by farmed pasture. Beautiful views in all directions and many stunning walks within easy distance by car. Charming hosts.
