Looking for a great place for a family vacation, weekend getaway, or just don't want to stay in a hotel? Look no further! Situated on 300 feet of lakeshore. This level lot has a sugar sand bottom and crystal clear water. Kristoferson Park is 1 block away. They have a great playground, pavilion, hockey rink, volleyball, and baseball fields. About 10-15 minutes to championship golf (Madden's, Grand View and Cragun's).

Close to town!! Top notch dining, grocery shopping, boutique shopping, and the Paul Bunyan bike trail are all within 5 minutes, this is the perfect location for your next vacation! Cub Foods, Costco, and Walmart are only 2 miles away.

This beautiful lake home is remodeled and has a walkout lower level opening up to a flat yard overlooking the lake. The master bedroom has a king size bed. Bedroom #2 has 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed. Bedroom #3 is downstairs with beautiful views of the lake on the walkout level and has a queen bed. Bedroom #4 is downstairs with a queen bed and twin bed.

Sleeps 8 comfortably, sleeps up to 10 with the idea that children are a part of your group.

**THIS IS NOT A GOOD SETUP FOR MORE THAN 8 ADULTS AS IT WILL BE CRAMPED FOR BOTH SLEEPING AND IN OTHER AREAS**

We do not allow bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, or any type of large gathering or events. We are in a neighborhood and want to respect them.

Amenities include: 4 flat-screen TVs (Cable TV in the living room & Roku TV for streaming channels in the master bedroom, basement, and basement bedroom), Wi-Fi internet, 3 full baths – 1 tub/shower and 1 shower upstairs, 1 shower downstairs, upper and lower level family rooms, dining table, dock, GAS grill, and bonfire pit.

2 kayaks, paddle boat, and outdoor toys are available for guests to use free of charge.

There is a campfire pit in the yard by the lake. Firewood is available for your convenience if you wish for a fee of $5 per day of use to cover the cost of the wood.

We highly encourage staying 3 nights or more to get a chance to enjoy the area amenities, but you can stay as few as 2 nights (Oct - May) or as few as 3 nights (June - August).

Rates are based on 6 guests. We charge a modest fee of $2 per guest per night above 6 guests that covers the additional linens, cleaning, and utilities that more guests require.

Mattresses could use replacing. Chairs instead of benches. There's a wasp infestation on the property. Sofa is hard to get in and out of. Way too soft .Overall, that was overcomeable, and we had a great time.Thanks for being great hosts.Vicki and friends.

Despite the weather

Despite the weather (tornato warning sent us to the basement) we had a wonderful 6 days. We cooked several nights and the house had everything we needed, from the gas grill to a very well appointed kitchen. The beds were all very comfortable. The sand beach and shallow water was perfect for the 5 and 2 year old. The owners were great to work with. We rented the pontoon for 1 day and the process was very easy! Would definitely recommend!

The home was clean and was more than adequately stocked with dishes/bowls, small appliances, towels etc. The sandy beach was nice and the lake was very clean. The hosts were very quick to respond to any of our questions. We would stay there again.

Perfect house for family gatherings.

Wish I could give more stars! This cabin was perfect for our family to meet in a central location. The place was clean, tidy and probably the best VRBO we have rented. Would stay again … hopefully in the summer next time.

College friend getaway

Eight friends from across MN met at this central location for a long weekend. The property was exactly as described online! The hostess was quick to respond and very accommodating for our group. Being winter, we wanted a large gathering space and this house fit our needs perfectly! I’m hoping we can make this our yearly gathering spot. So pleased we found this amazing place.

Stunning view.

With the open floor plan, larger table and plenty of sleeping space, it made our weekend stay enjoyable. The view of the lake was stunning. Beach looked nice, it rained so we didn’t enjoy that like we wouldn’t wanted to, but all was wonderful!

Nice Weekend Away

We rented this cabin for a family weekend away. The boys enjoyed access to the lake for ice fishing and the girls enjoyed time at the water park. Easy communication with the owners when we had a couple questions.

We enjoyed this cabin very much!

The cabin is super clean and extremely comfortable. There is plenty of space to move around, the kitchen has everything you could ever need, and the owners are fantastic! The lake is small and quiet but you can totally enjoy the activities of lake life without the crowds of boats you will find on the larger lakes in the area. We had the perfect vacation and would definitely recommend this cabin to everyone we know.

Fantastic Stay

Our stay was exactly what our family needed. Perfect location - close to everything but then you go in the backyard and sit on the dock and feel far away from it all. The communication with Melissa and Bret was fantastic. The house is clean, perfect set up for a family and I would totally recommend it to others.

This house exceeded our expectations. It was big enough for our group. The paddle boat and kayaks were a hit. The lake is so clean and the beach area was excellent. I would recommend this beautiful lake house to anyone.

Yearly Summer Family Vacation

The property was amazing. The cabin was clean and had everything a person could want. The lakeshore was just what was needed for an infant and children 3, 4 & 6. A lot of time was spent in the water and on the pontoon. We even caught enough fish to have a fish fry the last night. :) Can wait for next year's summer vacation.

Baxter area vacation

We enjoyed our stay - very clean, simple, lake home. We loved renting the pontoon boat (although we did need to take the cover off ourselves and clean it up a bit before use). There is a great park for kids nearby, plenty of beds for our group of 9. We extended the table so we could all eat together and found folding chairs in one closet. This home is in a residential area and is close to grocery shopping, mini golf, etc.

Very nice home away from home. We would recommend staying here to anyone. Owners are easily accessed and have great directions. Lots of entertainment home is fully stocked. Super clean and many many activities in the brainerd lakes area. If you are here during the week look up BL broadcasting BBAY they have great coupons for eating out and entertainment savings!! Enjoy your stay.

Very, very nice home.

This is a very, very nice home. Extremely comfortable furniture, especially the beds. A plethora of dishes and utensils for baking, cooking, and serving. Bathrooms are fully stocked, and nice hot showers. Beautiful lake shore, yard and view with a wide array of chairs and tables to comfortably enjoy. First time our group has VRBOed, and we were very pleased with our choice.

Very clean, nicely remodeled lake home! Close to stores and Baxter/Brainerd attractions. Large flat yard for playing bocce ball, or other games and having bon fires! White Sand Lake is clean and clear, great for swimming, especially if you have small children. Swimming, pontoon rides and tubing were all a favorite for the grandchildren! We enjoyed our stay so much we’re coming back next year! Highly recommend renting this home for family leisure and fun!

Less than 2 hours from the Twin Cities made this a great location for us. After purchasing the house we completely remodeled it to bring it up to date and make it more enjoyable.

What makes this property unique

We love the large flat yard and the sandy shoreline. There is plenty of room for activities, not your typical cramped cabin lot. Up north cabin feel, but close to town for shopping & activities. Plenty to do for everybody nearby.
