About this property

Olympic Valley Townhome w/ Views of KT at Palisades

Great anytime of year! Our 3 bedroom + loft, 2 bath townhome is the closest to Squaw Valley Rd in the complex, and just a short walk to Squaw Valley tram & lifts, hiking, restaurants, and more.

STR Permit #: STR22-6109 | Max Occupancy is 6 | There is room for 2 parking spaces in the carport. Parking On Street Prohibited | Quiet Hours are from 9pm - 8am | Placer County's Good Neighbor Policies Listed in Photos and House Rules.

We have unfiltered views of Squaw Valley from the living room and master bedroom.

The home has 3 floors with a step down living room, open living, kitchen, and dining room, and we have a large deck. We are also not far from Truckee or Lake Tahoe. Early check-in and late check-out may be available.

Our townhome has 2.5 bedrooms + a tiny loft and accommodates up to 6 guests.

HIGHLIGHTS:
☆ Walking distance to Squaw Valley village, ski lifts, and hiking
☆ Amazing views of Squaw Valley Resort and KT-22
☆ Concierge services available through Tahoe Cohost Collective
☆ Short drive to Truckee or Tahoe City

Walk up three stairs to get to the front door. Enter into the mudroom where you can take off and store your gear during your stay. We also have a mudroom closet allowing for more storage spaces for skis, boots, etc. Next, ascend the few stairs to the main living area where you will find epic views of Squaw Valley and KT-22 (our favorite chair lift).

In the main living area, there is a step down living room with floor to ceiling windows, vaulted ceilings, a cozy couch built into the area along with a fireplace and a TV. We also have tons of blankets and pillows for extra cozy relaxation.

We have a dining area for 6 along with an open kitchen that looks onto the dining and living room. Enjoy amazing views from inside or step out onto our large deck accessed from the dining room and take in all the amazing nature and views that surround our cozy little home.

Our kitchen is fully equipped with newer appliances, along with anything you need to cook and prepare meals for the whole family. This includes coffee, spices, olive oil and more!

There is one bathroom on the first floor with a walk-in shower, plenty of towels, shampoo and conditioner.

Head up the next set of stairs and you’ll find a tiny little room with a bunk bed. We like to call this the “Kid’s Fort”. The room has a bunk bed and a bookshelf with plenty of children’s books. Please keep in mind this room is most suitable for children and/or small adults.

On the second floor, you will find two good-sized bedrooms both with queen beds, another bathroom with a separate vanity area and the loft.

The master bedroom has great views of Squaw Valley and plenty of closet space. The second bedroom also has a comfortable queen-size bed with windows overlooking the pines above.

Climb the ladder to the loft for a cozy sleeping adventure! It’s like sleeping in a tree house!

The bathroom on this floor is shared between the two bedrooms. It has another walk-in shower as well as a separate sink/vanity area for more privacy.

This home is perfect for a family looking to stay in a comfortable hideaway in an amazing location with great views!

Great location
Great location. We could walk to the village at palisades. The location on the map isn’t quite right, but it just across from the parking lot.

Amazing Location
The location can’t be beat if you’re looking to ski at Palisdes! Had an issue with one of the toilets while we were there, so only having 1 usable toilet with 6 people was a bit of a disappointment, but otherwise the house worked out great for a family ski trip! Owner was very responsive and even sent out some winter weather tips when some pretty sizable storms came in. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Views and Great Location
The house was well-equipped with everything we needed. Location was great, easy walk to the lifts and to restaurants. Owners were responsive and helpful with any questions we had. It was a little chilly downstairs but we just moved one of the space heaters into the living room during the day. Great layout for a family. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect location for the Palisades village!
This place was so perfect! We went for the Broken Arrow Skyrace running weekend and we never had to drive. We walked back and forth from the village all weekend, which made it super easy with kids. The house also worked well for kids and adults. Great layout and size. They also communicated really well and were flexible with check in time. We come to this area a lot and I would definitely stay here again!
