A WONDERFUL CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING AND SNOWRAKETS IN A NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
The house is in the village called Venoz ( which is part of the town of NUS) at 1800 mt of altitude. The village consists of about 20 houses from the XVIII century carefully restaured with typical materials from the valley . Our home was built in 1993, according to the tradition and with local materials.
The closest village with facilities is NUS, 16 km from Venoz and 11 Km from the city of Aosta, which is the main town of the valley, with 50.000 inhabitants. In Aosta you can find all you need: train station, buses that connect the main town with the valleys around it, shopping center, a nice pedestrian area with shops, bars, restaurants and historical monuments, dating back to the Roman Age.
In the village of Venoz there aren’t shops, but in Lignan, the village 1 km below Venoz, where there is the observatory, there is a restaurant, family run, and a tiny shop where you can find food (essential). Nus, 16 Km from Venoz, has food stores, baker’s, pharmacy, post office, bank, and so on…
We strongly recommend you to get all your grocery and food supply in Nus!
The most convenient airports are in Milano Malpensa and Turin. From the airport you can rent a car. The valley of Saint Bartlemy is situated in the centre of Valle d’Aosta and it is easy to reach the Monte Bianco, Monte Rosa, Gran Paradiso, Cervino. From our home you are close to many trails to walk up to 2600 mt, where there is the oratory of Cuney.

This is the house we use for our leisure time, so it has our books, objects and so on and has all facilities like washing machine, oven, dishwasher, gpl heating system (NOT centralized), color tv, HiFi, furniture, rugs, sheets, blankets, towels etc.
The apartment : on the ground floor there is a large kitchen and sitting room, a bathroom with shower and two bedrooms with single beds. Upstairs there is an attic room where there is a double bed (french size _ 140 cm). In one of the two bedrooms there will be stored our personal items. There is a balcony facing south with a beautiful view of the Mount Emilius. We will give you a closet and a dresser for your use. The place is very quiet, it helps relaxing and meditation. Attractive 2-level apartment in the St Barthelemy valley above Nus

A lovely apartment in the hills above Nus, with a fantastic view of the mountains south of the Aosta velley. Comfy beds, plenty of room for relaxing. The pellet stove for cold nights was appreciated. Good walking to various Refuges and a couple of local restaurants a short stroll away. Within driving range of Aosta, Gran Paradiso and the St Bernard passes (Great and Small). The owner is very helpful and easy to contact.

A star amongst stars

I have loved everything about the house and Vènoz . The good things people say are accurate , the house is cozy, beautiful , well kitted and you feel at home instantly . Guglielmo and Grazia delightful, kind, non intrusive , happy to help. But there is more to it. This place has a real soul and we found ourselves immersed in the power of nature , a magnetic attraction to the balcony that has a magnificent view, the peace and the light during the day and the starts at night , and the wildlife around made a wonderful experience for us . For this we are grateful to the owners, for sharing such a special place with us and we will definitely come back to that magic location . It could have not been better. Really.

La casa è esattamente come da descrizione e fotografie attrezzata con tutto, i proprietari cortesi e premurosi ,sei immerso nella natura e nella tranquillità appena cammini sui sentieri sei inebriato dai profumi incontaminati di piante e fiori trovi marmotte aquile stambecchi e ovviamente mucche all'alpeggio ma la cosa più commovente e il cielo notturno, in nessun altro posto in Italia ho visto uno spettacolo simile ! Da provare per chi ama godere di quel poco di naturale ancora incontaminata.

Venoz

This is a great location and a wonderful property for anyone looking for a base for walking in the north Val d'Aosta area. Venoz is about 20mins drive up from Nus in a most beautiful setting with perfect views out across the Gran Paradiso NP. The chalet is perfect for two or more (up to 6) and family friendly. The owner is very helpful and friendly and was there to greet us and show us around. We spent the week walking in the mountains and this is a great base for this. The local facilities are few but there are a couple good restaurants nearby including a mountain hut with good food about 2hrs walk. Highly recommend this for a walking base in this area.

Sismo stati una settimana in un luogo davvero unico : dobbiamo ringraziare il sig Pilato ,che ci ha permesso di alloggiare bella sua casa che è davvero fantastica,stupenda ,curatissima in ogni dettaglio ,non mancava nulla : da ogni tipo di stoviglia ai detersivi per piatti e bucato a libri e riviste da leggere ,la possibilità di godere di giorno di un panorana pazzesco ,alla notte la visione del cielo pieno di stelle era davvero incredibile ,se cercate pace e tranquillità qui la trovate . Le chalet est superbe, bien décoré et très douillet. Le propriétaire est accueillant et sympa..La région est exceptionnelle .La nature est préservée, les randonnées sont fabuleuses( lacs, marmottes, flore à découvrir..) .Un séjour à renouveler à toutes les saisons.

If you want to forget a busy city world, enjoy purity of nature and experience a real Alpine atmosphere you MUST stay in the house. The house is a harmonic addition to the beautiful nature. It has everything you need and you feel a love in each thing you see in there. This is our second stay and we are already dreaming again to come back. Guglielmo and Grazia - owners of the house - will give you a great hospitality and help you if anything is needed. After an active day (you can find great cross country ski paths just 5 min drive from the house) we enjoyed reading books sitting close to a fire place or watching the mountains and stars out of a window. We are so thankful to Guglielmo and Grazia for the unforgettable stay which gives us the energy for the year.

Una estancia inolvidable!

Hemos pasado una semana fabulosa en esta casa preciosa. Todo estaba en perfecto estado, limpio, no faltaba nada y dispuesto de forma que uno podía sentirse a gusto en cada momento. La vista desde el balcón con el panorama de los Álpes absolutamente fenomenal. Muchísmas posibilidades de hacer excursiones y senderos. Y Guglielmo con su simpatía habitual siempre preocupado para que nos faltara de nada. Muchísimas gracias. Muy recomendable. Repetiremos seguro!

Nous avons eu une semaine relaxante a Venoz. Appartement tres bien equipe, tres comfortable et chaleureux. La vue du balcon est ravissante. Le decor change avec le temps! Venoz è un luogo eccezionale per chi vuole passare una vacanza di relax immersi nella natura..l'appartamento è perfetto sia per una famiglia che per un gruppo di amici..attrezzatissimo, soprattutto la cucina..la stufa a pellets è comoda e scalda in abbondanza e la balconata con vista panoramica sulla valle non ha prezzo!! Guglielmo è una persona molto disponibile ed ha arredato la casa con qualsiasi cosa possa servire per passare al meglio la vacanza.. Assolutamente consigliato!!!

Matteo e i suoi amici sono stati ospiti graditissimi. Quando ricevo prenotazioni per il periodo di capodanno sono sempre un po' sospettoso perché a volte sono ospiti che cercano una qualsiasi casa per fare festa e a volte sono un po' poco attenti alla casa. Io sono stato proprio fortunato perché ho trovato persone che condividono gli stessi gusti. Matteo è stato anche con i suoi due figli e questo per me era importante perché speravo che anche loro ricordassero questi momenti con il papà. Mi è sembrato che anche loro fossero contenti. Hanno portato una cagnolina e quando ho preso la prenotazione ero un po' preoccupato. Nessun problema hanno avuto tantissima cura e la casa mi è stata consegnata pulita e in ordine. Location très agreable

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet appartement où tout est charmant, la décoration, la vue, le propriétaire,... Ca vaut la peine de faire ces km en plus pour dormir dans ce nid douilet, la literie est très confortable. Seul petit bémol, il n y a pas de four micro ondes.

Accogliente e ben attrezzata come da annuncio

Venoz frazione di Nus "The house of light" Posto ideale per chi vuole rigenerarsi e/o ama camminare.La valle è poco turistica. L'appartamento gode di una fantastica vista su prati e boschi; è attrezzato di tutto punto. Vicini di casa simpatici. Guglielmo è una ricca fonte di informazioni ma sa essere anche discreto. Da tenere in considerazione sia per un altro soggiorno sia da consigliare ad amici.

Sono stato molto contento di ospitare questa famiglia perche mi hanno dato la soddisfazione di condividere il luogo Venoz. Sono sempre un pò preoccupato quando ci sono dei ragazzi in quanto non so mai se condividono la scelta della vacanza fatta dai genitori. Appena i due ragazzi sono entrati a casa li ho visti contenti e mi hanno dato la certezza che avessero gradito la scelta e io sono partito contento.Li consiglio ai proprietari perchè hanno cura della casa e con loro si sta tranquilli di avere belle persone in casa.
