Great communication and location but listing is inaccurate and very dirty

The caretaker, Carine, was extremely kind and did everything she could to make us more comfortable. The location was great for us, the neighbors in the building all quiet and kind. Overall, we had a good time here and made the best of it. However, it's worth clarifying, the house is a 1 bedroom. There are a set of bunkbeds but they are in the living area, not in a separate bedroom, that makes it difficult to use the living area if you have kids asleep. The house is in a degree of disrepair. The dishwasher electrocuted me several times because it is not installed properly (it's not grounded correctly). There are several broken or non-working items, light bulbs were out, the shower head is broken, etc. Also be prepared, there is no soap, trash bags, linens, nothing, so it's as if you are moving into a new house, not a VRBO. From what I could tell I don't think the apartment has ever been professionally cleaned, it was quite dirty. I've never stayed anywhere so dirty, in fact, in 25 years of traveling the world. There was hair, dust, cobwebs, everywhere. I strongly recommend to the owner that the home needs to be professionally cleaned. I would not consider the conditions sanitary as is.

Appartement calme et situé à deux pas de la plage d'Albigny et possibilité de louer des vélos pour faire le tour du lac (aller chez "roule ma poule"). Cependant, l'appartement mériterait un bon rafraîchissement pour être vraiment correct par rapport au prix demandé.

Tranquillité garantie

L’appartement est très bien situé, près du lac au calme. Commerce pas très loin non plus. L’appartement est agréable, on peut manger dehors. Nous avions apporté une plancha électrique car il n’y en a pas dans le logement. Un petit coup de neuf dans les toilettes serait bienvenu (tapisserie qui est décollé au dessus des plinthes…) Nous avons apprécié notre séjour.

Calme et bien situé

Un peu déçu par le retard pour la remise des clés à l'arrivée (plus d'une heure de retard) et par l'espace vert (herbes d'1 mètre de haut). En dehors de cela le séjour c'est bien passé. Le logement est bien situé et très calme.

Très agréable!

A l'arrivée, un peu dessus car quelque souci avec des équipements de la cuisine Mais le propriétaire a fais le nécessaire rapidement. L'appartement est très agréable avec un petit coin de jardin et très proche du lac ainsi que du centre d'Annecy tout en étant au calme.

Quiet and close to lake

Just 3 minutes walk to the lake and a couple of minutes more to the plage, the location is great - and even more so because it's really quiet. The kitchen seemed small at first, but once we got organised and made use of handy hob cover, it was fine. We enjoyed the garden, which has sun almost all day, and having that private space was great. The apartment was very comfortable, with plenty of space for the two of us. Our flight was significantly delayed, so checking in took some working through, but in the end we worked things out and M. Fenot kindly met us at the bus station.
