Terrace had 270 degree over city view. Well-equipped and well-supplied kitchen. Each of the three bedrooms nicely private. Giancarlo checked to make sure we were not troubled by a slight earthquake. (Having lived in the Bay area, we were inclined to reply: Call that (4.4) an earthquake?) Excellent communication to rest of city via funiculare.
Location very convenient to public transportation and supermarket. Hilltop residential area of apartments. Large terrace with great views. Not suitable for people who have difficulty climbing stairs. Apartment has 3 different levels within it. Kitchen well stocked but need more towels for bathrooms. Each bathroom had only one towel. Also we had to buy toilet paper. Host is pleasant and lives in same building. No living room because 4 th bedroom is the one with a sofa bed that we were using.. we agreed beds would get rated B- Furniture is funky quaint. Fortunately weather was good so we could gather on terrace.
We came down to Naples after a family wedding in Rome and wanted to explore the area, we had a lovely week sightseeing the Naples area. The apartment was lovely, very well equipped and Giancarlo and Fiammetta were lovely host’s, helping with any queries we had. I would have no hesitation to recommend Naples and the apartment to anyone
We were in Naples for New Years and had a wonderful time! Our host had a fruit basket waiting and was very accommodating. We had been to Naples before and had most of our plans figured out, but he offered to help with anything we weren't sure of. A very nice family and a great central location!
This apartment was spacious, well-equipped, and cool (we visited in July). The big terrace was great for eating meals and playing for the kids. We loved the quiet, calm location. It was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go with the Metro, Funiculare, and walking. The hosts were also very helpful advising us to find alternate transportation during a train workers strike and booking us a taxi. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
Beautiful Apartment in Tranquil Naples Neighborhood
Well equipped, comfortable, spacious apartment, with relaxing outdoor terrace. The perfect nightly escape from the hustle and bustle of Naples -- but still close to everything, including beautiful views from nearby streets and piazzas.
This is a great apartment with excellent & communicative hosts. It's less than 100m from funicular to centre & has a metro 5-10 mins walk away. The neighbourhood is quiet & safe. The rooms are all as they appear on the photos & good sized. The apartment already has all the household items one would need so didn't have to buy from the supermarket, of which there are several nearby. Would love to come back & definitely recommend.
Convenient location - close to funicular and metro stops. Also steps to amazing restaurants! Quiet neighborhood. The apartment was spacious, clean, and just what we needed for our stay in Naples! Great communication with owner. We loved the welcome basket!! Would stay here again!
The apartment is beautiful and communication with owner was very easy! The location is outside the city which was very nice! The city is very crowded and can be loud! Nice to go back to quiet and beautiful view!
We were a group of 5 people visiting Naples for 5 days. The apartment was clean, the kitchen was very well stocked. There was a gift basket from the owners, and the communication with them was excellent. Fiammetta was very accommodating, and responsive. If you are planning visiting Napoli, don’t hesitate to book this apartment.
All the other reviews are spot on. The hosts are amazing, the apartment beautiful, the terrace great for enjoying a glass of wine with a view and the location outstanding. Close to metro and shopping. Did I mention the hosts were amazing? The nicest. I will definitely stay here when I am back in Napoli and will recommend without reservations.
Good location and the owners were very helpful and quick to respond with all of my questions. Didn’t utilize the apartment much but it has everything you would need in it.
Don't hesitate. We're 2 people, but this could comfortably accommodate aclarger family or group of friends. Communication was clear, and the neighborhood is beautiful. The apartment is within walking distance to an extraordinary Naples attraction, Castel Sant'Elmo, a hearty walk down the steps to the Spaccanapoli, mass transit, and lots of restaurants and shopping. With eclectic decor, comfortable beds, several lounge areas including a large kitchen and larger veranda, it's a lovely home away from home.
Beautiful home in a very nice neighborhood! It was actually more space than a couple needs but we made good use of the kitchen and that huge terrace - breakfasts and evenings to unwind after site seeing. Very conveniently located to an excellent transit system , groceries and of course the evening festivities with restaurants setting up extended seating on the streets- very social experience. The view of the city with the short walk to the Castle is amazing. This was an excellent home base for seeing Naples and the surrounding area. Our hosts were great and we respected the property as if it were our own. Will recommend this home to anyone visiting Naples. Thank you
The apartment was more spacious than shown in the pictures. Three floors with plenty of sleeping area. The balcony looks over the city of Naples and is huge. You can even see Sant Elmo (2 blocks away). Everything was provided by our wonderful hosts, Giancarlo and Firmanetta. Even a basket with different Italian foods we might not have known about. The area is perfect for exploring the City. Close to the Funuclare, it is easy to travel anywhere in the City. We stayed for 3 weeks and our hosts even changed out our linens and towels half way through. They even provided some light robes for each of us to wear.
Thank you for being such great hosts providing us with such an amazing place to stay!
I cannot say enough about this apartment. It is spectacular! The highlight - at least for me - is the balcony. It is immense, running the length of the apartment - the picture does not give a true indication of its size. And you would be hard pressed to find a better host than Giancarlo. Our friend decided to join us midway through our trip and arrived in Naples in the morning - our train from Rome was not due until later that afternoon. I asked Giancarlo if she could check in before we got there. He was able to take in her luggage until the apartment was ready and later check her in. We will come back to Naples and make it a point nnt to book this apparent.
The apartment was so well located, Giancarlo had everything explained in a folder in four languages about the apartment, restaurants, the Funicular, how to gat around etc.
The apartment was filled with a wide variety of beautiful art. And when we were leaving he arranged for a cab and he had a very nice lady help communicate with the cabs, as there were six of us.
A horrendous heatwave decided to hit Naples the same day we arrived. Because of that we didn’t get to experience Naples as much as we would have liked. Also one of the air conditioners wasn’t able to cool the bed room down enough.
This home felt very welcoming to us.
