"Can Nas de Gos" is a charming renewed stone cottage set in three hectareas of private woodland and meadows., the perfect retreat for peaceful holiday surrounded by nature. There is a swimming pool, 6 metres by 3 metres ideal for relaxing on warm summer days. The area offers miles of quiet country lanes, perfect for walking, cycling or the possibility of horse riding nearby. Crespia is the little village 2km away in a walking distance along nice lanes with an excellent bar and restaurant.

From its rural setting the cottage is located near the beautiful Banyoles lake , perfect for swimmimg and lakeside strolls . The historic cit y of Girona, known for the setting of the film Game of Thrones, is just 40 minutes away, 45 minutes from sea side resorts like La Escala or Estartit in Costa Brava. Nice sandy beaches with excellent sea food restaurants. Figueres with its Dali museum is 14 km away and Barcelona with the Sagrada Familia almost finished is around one hour by car.
A wonderful place for families to relax, explore both the countryside and the coast.

I am a retired English teacher and my husband is also retired and he does the house and land maintanance. We live in Girona city . I enherited the land and the house from my parents who lived there when they retired . We like spending time in the middle of the nature with our two cats and two lambs who help us cutting the grass .

Why they chose this property

My parents bought the land and the farm house in 1966. They chose it for being peaceful and in the middle of the nature. Most of the trees were planted by my father . After some years they had another little cottage built 100 metres from the original house hidden behind the trees where my family lives . We had the farm house rebuilt and now it is the house we rent in summer .

What makes this property unique

The peaceful and quiet surroundings in the middle of the forest but near to important towns as Banyoles , Figueres, Girona and only 35 kilometres from the nearest beach.
It is an ideal place to relax with your family and pets.
