Charming condo on the free shuttle loop with a pool & hot tub! Great location!

This cozy, beautifully furnished 2 bedroom 2 bathroom Chateaux condo is located in Mt. Crested Butte, approximately 500 yards from the lifts - a short 5-minute walk or you may prefer to jump on the free shuttle which stops every 15-20 minutes. With comfortable amenities and convenience that is hard to match, this condo is a great place to spend your vacation in any season. Unwind after a long day on the slopes in the winter or hiking the endless trails in the summer in the outdoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, clubhouse, and grilling area. This unit is the perfect location in terms of convenience and recreational activities just steps from your door!

TV's are located in both bedrooms and the living room. The living room also has a wood-burning fireplace, talk about cozy!

Beds as follows: (1) Queen, [2] Queen and Twin bed.

*First Tracks is a free shuttle service that will transport you to and from the base area during the winter and summer months. All of the information you need is located in the property binder once you arrive.

PARKING: There are two parking spaces for this unit. They are not designated. Parking is very tight at this building, especially in the winter, so please plan accordingly.

LAUNDRY: There is a washer and dryer located in the building, not the unit. Coin operated.

**We require one of two options for you regarding damage protection. We recommend you purchase damage protection for $55. This covers you for up to $3,000 in damages that could occur to the property during your stay. Or you can choose to pay a $1000 refundable damage deposit. When booking directly online please let us know in the notes which option you would like.**

NOTE: The shared heated pool, hot tub, and sauna will be closed Sept 30 - Nov 26 for fall maintenance.

Great place in Mt. Crested Butte

Great location, just steps away from the free shuttle bus to the ski hill. The unit was also excellent, with good cooking facilities, comfortable beds, and a fireplace complete with free firewood. The hot tub as very convenient and comfortable.

Great ski stay

Great place for families, clean and well kept, furniture is all in good shape & the essentials for cooking. Location is great, can walk 10 mins downhill to the ski lifts or take the free bus - the condo is between two stops and both are less than 50 yards from the door, only a 2 minute ride to the lifts and about 5 minutes back to the condo. The bus runs every 15 or 30 minutes (peak vs. non-peak times) making it easy to get to & from the lifts. We lucked out and had a few inches of snow each night we were there, so skiing was fantastic and only 10 mins from the town.

Short Walk to Lifts

The condo met our needs well in that we wanted convenience to the ski lifts and it was about a 5-minute walk. The beds were comfortable and we were able to prepare all the meals we wanted to. The communication was great with the property manager and they were able to handle an entry situation promptly.

Well appointed Condo near the slopes

The condo seemed to be newly renovated and was very nice! We had 4 people and it was just perfect! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils which was a pleasant surprise! The shuttle to the base was very handy showing up every 4 minutes. Then you can catch a bus to Downtown Crested Butte for shopping and dining out. There are also a few shops around the base area as well. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice summer retreat

Great place to stay in the summer. A short walk to the center of the ski resort and the lifts. We had good communication with the property mangers prior to arriving and had easy access to the unit with an emailed door code. The unit was nicely equipped and the nearby clubhouse has an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. The wifi worked well if you need to work while you are there. There is a small combo grocery/liquor store less than a block away but its worth stopping in Gunnison or Crested Butte to buy groceries before you get there. The prices at the small local store were obscene even for a ski town. The unit was very clean. The bus runs through the unit's parking lot which is probably awesome during ski season but a little noisy during the summer. For bikers, there is a hose and bike wash station at the clubhouse if you need to clean off your bike. You can't take bikes into the building. We kept ours locked on the rack on our car (as did most other cyclists), but there is also a bike rack just outside of the front door of the building. Overall, a good summer condo!

Great location!

Great property. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the needed items to cook dinner. Hot tub and pool area were great and the shuttle bus came right through the complex for easy pick up.

The property had a great location for access to skiing. 8 minute walk or 3 minute shuttle. Property also had a nice pool/ hot tub. Kitchen was very well stocked with kitchenware. I would stay again.

Poor property Manger communications

Never received check in instructions. After an hour of sitting in the parking lot finally got ahold of after hours maintenance he helped us get into the unit. Never received a call from the property manager after several attempts. To much large furniture, no where for bags. Great location, right on the bus line. Well stocked kitchen.

We send out all arrival instructions on the Monday before arrival. Occasionally we can go to your junk email. Most people reach out to us the day before if they haven't seen anything on their arrival and then we can get it re sent over. I spoke with our after hours crew member that evening and he said he spoke with you multiple times and that he got you into the property. We never received any calls here at the office. We knew from our team member that you got into the unit and didn't know you wanted to speak with us. We will always communicate and speak with our guests when needed. Convenient location

The property is very conveniently located. It was comfortable for the 4 of us and we enjoyed the fireplace. There is only 1 hot tub for the whole property so there were times we could not get in. We were disappointed that in the room, the fireplace had not been cleaned out(we had to do this) and there was no soap, shampoo or conditioner. We had to go immediately to the store. A few small samples of these would be a very nice addition. Also, the washer/dryer is not in the unit. They are located in the hallway of all the units and you have to pay for it, 25 cents for a 10 minute dry time. Otherwise, we had a very nice time.

Good location to resort —-3 minutes. Bus stopped in front of condo! If wanted go ten minutes down Mtn to town caught another bus Buses always on time Condo had basic conveniences - nothing super fancy n kitchen fairly small but sufficient for needs! Staff very friendly. When arrived all rooms had TV service but didn’t have didn’t have some major network channels.

LOVE the location and a great value!

We normally rent ski in and ski out condos so I was a little worried about the location.....but turns out it was completely unfounded! SO easy to get to lifts; they are right across the street! And is you don't want to walk, there are buses that seem to magically appear every time you need them! The condo is so warm and cozy and had a fully stocked kitchen INLCUDING condiments which NEVER happens! Very comfortable beds and good bedding and linens, and super quiet location. Firewood is easy to access and the sofas were very comfy! we will definitely rent here again! perfect for a family of four or two couples.

Comfortable mountain home convenient to the slopes

My husband and I stayed at this condominium while on a ski trip with another couple. The condo was super comfortable and well provisioned. We had everything we needed to cook dinner 2 of the nights, even condiments. It's so nice to be able to cook breakfast in a real kitchen instead of overpaying at a crowded restaurant. The large sofa and roaring fire were a wonderful way to spend an evening after a day of skiing. The condo provides ample wood so we kept the fire burning. The dining table was a great place for evening cards and the beds were very comfortable. During the day we found the shuttle to the mountain base ran frequently and had seats available. We used the slope side ski valet for skis and rented a locker for our boots. There were no long walks burdened with skis at the end of the day. We loved this condominium and hope to return.

Perfect for our family getaway

We loved this property! It has a very comfortable living room and sleeping situation. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. The fireplace was so nice to sit next to at the end of the day. The outdoor pool and hot tub was a great amenity, our kids had a blast! It is a quick walk to the base area but if we didn't want to walk, the free shuttle was so convenient and quick. The next time we come to Crested Butte we will stay here and I would recommend this property to all my friends visiting the area!

Not what we expected

This was a family ski trip; 2 adults and 3 kids. I consulted someone at the management company when I went to book, and was assured there was enough room in this 2bed 2bath condo for our family (which sleeps 6). PROS: Across the street from the base with a shuttle running every 15 mins. Condo somewhat "updated" with 3 TVs, lots of couch space and a wood burning fireplace. CONS: Ugh. The bed in the master is small and really uncomfortable. Bathrooms very small with zero amenities. We had some crappy bar soap but no shampoo or conditioner provided, which most management companies should provide with paid service. The hot water disappeared really fast with 5 ppl showering. The condo is on the middle level so you can hear the stampede of the family above you early in the morning and late at night. There are 5 buildings with ONE small (gross) hot tub and a "heated" pool that was freezing. Perhaps the most annoying part is that you have to go to the management company downtown to pick up keys and also to drop them off. That's incredibly inconvenient. Zero negotiating a later checkout time-unless you want to pay $50. We hadn't been to CB in over 10 years. The condo was too small and amenities were disappointing. We've traveled plenty and have gone through management companies before. Not impressed with this set up at all, and it wasn't worth the money we paid.

The hot tub and pool are managed by the association/building management and Peak has no control over the condition or temperature of either. We have certainly passed your notes along to them for their consideration. Regarding the bed in the master, it is clearly advertised as a queen bed and it is a queen bed.
