The house is located in the hamlet of LE FORNA (north area of the island, where all the accesses to reach the various CALETTE on foot are found, without being obliged to take a boat) 150/200 meters from the center of LE FORNA (square of the CHURCH) where there are shops, food, bar restaurant, pizzerias, beauty center, motorbike rental, etc. The sea, under the CALA DELL'ACQUA house (you can also reach it by car), 10 minutes on foot LE CALETTE , THE NATURAL POOLS, 1 km CALA FEOLA.(sandy beach) Near the house at 100 mt. either going to the right, or going to the left the bus stop that connects PONZA port and the whole island, you can park your car near the house along the provincial road, the area is well served and is quiet. Near the house there is the possibility of renting mopeds, rubber boats, small boats. The house for holiday periods is available all year round, the island owners live all year round on the island, they are very helpful and accommodating towards vacationers, the house is well-kept and airy. The two-room apartment consists of 2 double bedrooms (one triple with 1 double bed + 1 single bed) + (one double with 1 double bed) sleeps 5, a living area with a very panoramic veranda and kitchenette. 2 bathrooms, exclusive independent terrace equipped with SEA VIEW, AIR CONDITIONERS (in each room) WASHING MACHINE, TELEVISION (in each room) .Ask the owner for a definitive quote (DISCOUNTS, OFFERS, LONG PERIODS, ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE other than Saturday). The house is not suitable for disabled people and people with reduced physical activity (flight of stairs) .Possibility of trips, boat trips, live a day of sun, sea, diving between the PONZIANE islands with the MOTORBOAT IL FAUNO, with possibility on request of a shuttle service to the port of PONZA from where you leave. From the house you can observe beautiful sunsets on the island of PALMAROLA and if you are lucky even the dolphins, from the house you can take walks on various panoramic views.

We visited Casa Fauno for the third time. We love the place, we love the island. Maria Gabriela, the owner, was friendly, responsive and kindly helped us with our requests. Definitely will come back again.

A week away from noise

It was our second time on Ponza and we booked again The House of Faun - breathtaking view, very quiet and nice apt. Kids love playing with cats. Hope to come again after few years

Der tollste Urlaubsort, an dem wir je waren. Die Aussicht ist unbeschreiblich. Die Unterkunft ist einfach, sauber, hat alles was man braucht. Supermarkt fussläufig. Busstation (18) direkt vor der Tür. Strände auch gut erreichbar. Gabriella hat uns nett empfangen. Und die Bootstour ihres Mannes mit der Fauno ist ebenfalls nur zu empfehlen.

Panorama mozzafiato

Appartamento ben arredato con panorama mozzafiato, vicino alla fermata della navetta. Nei pressi ci sono alimentari, bar e ristoranti. Abbiamo fatto varie escursioni, raggiungendo spiagge e punti panoramici. Essendo il ponte del 25 aprile, le temperature non erano adatte per fare il bagno, se non un breve tuffo.

Sehr schöne Fewo, herrlicher Ausblick

Wir haben die Lage der Wohnung sehr genossen. Toller Ausblick aus dem Zimmer u v d Terassen. Supermarkt u Bar nur 300 m entfernt, der Inselbus hält alle 30-60 min direkt vor der Tür + 40 Treppenstufen). Freundliche Gastgeberin, alles sehr sauber.

A parte la pulizia, la disponibilità della proprietaria e svariati altri aspetti tutti positivi, la perla è la posizione in cima alla scogliera che offre una vista molto bella della baia sottostante e di Palmarola che come una sirena sembra incantarti e invitarti a tuffarti per raggiungerla a nuoto.

Eine saubere Unterkunft mit einer bezaubernden Aussicht, gut zum Ausruhen und Meditieren

Eine sehr saubere, geräumige, gut ausgestattete Unterkunft, zu der auch die zwei abgebildeten Terrassen gehören. Diese möchte man gar nicht wegen der wunderschönen Aussicht verlassen. Gleich in der Nähe befinden sich gute Lebensmittelladen mit frischen Produkten. Gabriella, die uns am Hafen abgeholt hat, ist eine fürsorgliche Gasgeberin. Die Unterkunft befindet sich im Dorf le Forna, das viel ruhiger als das südliche Teil von Ponza ist und Zugänge zu wunderschönen Buchten bietet.

Tutto così perfetto!

Consiglio vivamente a tutti di soggiornare in questa casa, posizione impagabile, parcheggi sempre comodi vicino a casa, noleggio barche a 3 minuti da casa, supermercato vicino e due delle spiagge più belle dell isola a non più di 10 minuti! Prezzo adeguato e giusto, la signora Gabriella sempre disponibile nel caso di aiuto. L’unica “scomodità” è forse la lontananza dal centro, ma per qualche giorno si possono fare sacrifici! Se tornerò a Ponza, tornerò sicuramente qui!

Wonderful view!

The view was magnific! Calm area, lovely hostess, clean and simple apartment. Not far from lovely beaches and very nice restaurants. The bus stops only 100-200m from the apartment.

Mehr Meer geht kaum....

Unbeschreiblich schöner Blick über das Meer inclusive Sunset. Wer Ruhe und Natur liebt ist hier genau richtig. Selten haben wir ein so sauberes und ordentliches Appartement übergeben bekommen. Alles was wir brauchten war vorhanden. Und Gabriella war eine äußerst fürsorgliche Gastgeberin. Vielen Dank Gabriella! Grazie mille Gabriella!

Vista mozzafiato

Appartamento pulito e completo di tutto ciò che necessita, la sig.ra Maria Gabriella è molto gentile e disponibile ma, soprattutto, una vista d'incanto da godere dall'alba al tramonto, con il sole che scende dietro Palmarola. Il parcheggio è un piccolo spiazzo, lato casa, buono per tre vetture (e chi prima arriva meglio alloggia), ma si può parcheggiare sul ciglio della strada, che non è larghissima, tenendosi a ridosso del muro per non avere brutte sorprese. Trovo un pò bizzarro arrivare all'appartamento dovendo fare scale per salire sul terrazzo per poi ridiscendere nella cucina che fa da ingresso. Capisco che non è possibile fare altrimenti quando la sig.ra Maria Gabriella e consorte si trasferiscono in una parte della casa, per la stagione, chiudendo il normale accesso che da sulle stanze la loro utilizzate: per fortuna quando io e mia moglie ci siamo stati abbiamo potuto evitare le scale. A parte le precisazioni che non diminuiscono lo splendore del paesaggio, l'appartamento è assolutamente da consigliare anche per la centralità rispetto a spiagge e punti panoramici dell'isola. Il consiglio che posso dare è da evitare di andare a Ponza con la macchina (soprattutto se non è una utilitaria), se possibile, ed evitare di noleggiare vetture in loco: al porto, dove c'è la movida, è impossibile trovare un parcheggio. Da quest'anno cambia la società che gestisce gli autobus, utilizzando nuove vetture e, spero, nuove frequenze. Considerando che la casa del Fauno a Cala dell'Acqua ha la fermata a poche decine di metri diventa ancora più valida come struttura (se non bastasse già la pulizia, la gentilezza e la bellezza del panorama).

Splendida vacanza all'Isola di Ponza c/o la Casa Del Fauno a Le Forna, con possibilità di parcheggio scoperto. Ma vicino anche alla fermata del bus che molto frequentemente collega questa località al Porto. Casa arredata con gusto, accogliente, confortevole e pulitissima. Situata proprio a picco sul mare con vista mozzafiato sull'isola di Palmarola. Incantevoli i tramonti. I proprietari gentilissimi e disponibili. Francesco, con la sua barca da ex pescatore, organizza escursioni alle isole di Palmarola e Zannone, molto professionale ma anche simpaticone. Una vacanza da sogno

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana alla Casa del Fauno. Il panorama incantevole, i tramonti sull'isola di Palmarola e la vista che si gode dalle finestre dell'appartamento rimarranno per sempre nei nostri cuori. La signora Gabriella è simpatica e si è prodigata per non farci mancare nulla, coccolandoci con i suoi assaggi gastronomici e consigliandoci mete e itinerari. Una vacanza a 5 stelle da consigliare!!!

ne vale la pena!

l'isola è fatta a scale e bisogna conquistarla! ma ne vale la pena, e lo stesso vale per il delizioso appartamento, arredato con buon gusto, pulitissimo, affacciato sul mare, e da dove si possono godere i tramonti sull'isola di Palmarola e la compagnia dei gabbiani. Vicino ci sono delle calette accessibili anche a piedi dove si può fare il bagno o noleggiare una barchetta. La proprietaria, Gabriella, è una persona squisita e solare che ti mette a tuo agio subito ed è a disposizione per qualsiasi cosa.

Ottima vacanza alla Casa de Fauno a Le Forna

La bellezza e la cura della casa, la squisita accoglienza dei proprietari Gabriella e Francesco, la vicinanza ai servizi (bus, supermercato e distributore di benzina) rendono la Casa del Fauno una residenza e permanenza sull'isola veramente unica. Una vera chicca sono le maioliche che arredano casa ed adornano il giardino che è ricchissimo di piante fiorite (calle, amaryllis, bougainvillea, fichi d'India) ed erbe officinali. Amazing view

Amazing view on Palamarola Island. The location is great just on the sea, the bus stop is at 50 mt.but Ponza is so small that is nice also to walk to get many places. The apt.is clean and big, it has a solarium and a balcony (the picture) where we enjoyed our meals. The kitchen is well-furnished. The shops and supermarkets are at 50 mt. from the apt. The owners are very kind and helpful. We higly recommended.

Siamo stati alla casa del Fauno per pascqua 2015. siamo stai da Dio . Gabriella e il suo marito sono stati piu che gentilissimo, abbiamo fatto una bellissima esperienza in barca e in giro per palmarola e ponza. la casa era pulitissima e la posizione stupenda, fra mare, vista e tramonti a palmerola. what a great week we had. Best apartment ever. Gabriella is a very nice and professional host. Location is marvelous and the view is spectacular - even better than the pictures show. It is a 10 min walk to reach the next cala where the water is excellent. You can reach the main village via bus - and near to the apartment you find supermarket, bar and restaurants. We highly recommend this place - but it would be good if you speak some Italian... ;-)

Noi abbiamo scelto un altro appartamento sempre della Casa del Fauno, ma in località Cala Fonte. Siamo stati benissimo, la proprietaria sig.ra Gabriella è una persona squisita, riservata e disponibilissima al tempo stesso, che ci ha coccolato in ogni modo e ci è stata molto d'aiuto per tutte le informazioni di cui abbiamo avuto bisogno. Tutti gli appartamenti sono deliziosi, molto puliti, curati in ogni dettaglio con molto gusto e soprattutto funzionali e dotati di ogni comodità.
