Ideally located with no less than 6 beaches within a 4 km radius (Nauzan, Chay, Pigeonnier, St Palais sur Mer, Platin beaches) including that of Pontaillac at 1.5 km accessible on foot in 15, 20 minutes (or by bike),
The house has just been classified 3 stars by the Charente Tourisme institute '

It is located in a quiet area of Vaux sur mer near the city center, 2 km from Royan, (beach and Thalasso). Fully enclosed garden with sun loungers + terrace garden furniture with awning + barbecue. 2 parking spaces in in front of the house + a garage. 3 bedrooms: 1. 1 double bed (new bedding) + TV. 2. 1 bed 140. 3; 2 beds of 1m with new bedding (mattress protector and fitted sheet provided as unusual size) Living / dining room: large living room with 1 large table + chairs, large buffet, TV, sofa, armchairs, large safe, table low, & shelf. The bathroom is fitted with a bathtub and a towel warmer. The toilets are independent. Rental of household linen and sheets on request, ie € 10 per person.
If you take the "linen" option the beds are made upon your arrival !!
Baby equipment can be provided: cot high chair available and small bathtub
Provision of 4 bikes: 2 adults and 2 children. however, we reserve the right to remove them if their condition deteriorates or if repairs are required .... For weekend prices, please contact us.

There are many things about this property that we loved. The living room and bedrooms were are great - a good size and very nicely decorated. The location is handy for lovely places to explore, especially the local beaches. We also really appreciated the two fans in the very hot weather. The house was spotlessly clean and the shower is lovely.However, I suggest the host updates the photos of the garden. We booked this property specifically because the garden looks amazing in the photos. Lovely, comfortable sun loungers, a little drinks trolly. Sadly we found one broken garden sofa and none of the loungers you see in the phots. When I contacted the host to ask if we could have sun loungers they dropped off two rusty deckchairs.The kitchen was also disappointing. I would prefer it if all food left by previous travellers is removed. We are not going to use an open jar of nutella or half used ice cream.

Bonjour , Nous prenons en considération vos remarques . En ce qui concerne la cuisine , celle ci est la seule pièce qui reste à rénover , cependant tous les électroménagers sont neufs ( four électrique , four micro onde , et le réfrigérateur est changé cette semaine ) . Pour le jardin et son mobilier , il y a souvent des changements en fonction de ce qui casse . Nous avons fait le choix de remplacer les chaises longues par des fauteuils plus solides ... Nous mettrons à jour les photos ... Les aliments restants , cela est un oubli ... cela ne doit pas se produire , nous sommes d"accord . Je regrette que vous n'ayez pas pris la peine de répondre à mes messages lorsque nous avons apporté 2 chaises longues complémentaires ainsi que celui que je vous ai adressé la veille de votre départ ...

Une merveilleuse semaine qui nous a paru trop courte ! La maison est spacieuse et très agréable même avec les fortes chaleurs. Très bien située pour aller à la plage et se balader, même sans voiture on peut rayonner dans la région grâce au bus dont l'arrêt est tt proche. Accueil très sympathique de la propriétaire. On y retournera sûrement si on peut !

Maison très agréable, même avec six personnes. Il y avait tout ce dont on avais besoin. Environs parfait avec la bonne distance de Royan, Pontaillac et St Palais. La gérante trés bonne avec la communication. Nous voulons vraiment revenir.

Séjour agréable près de Royan

Propriétaires agréables et à l'écoute.Jolie maison rénovée.La pièce à vivre et la salle de bains refaites avec gout.La maison est très bien située et a des places de parking réservées devant la maison.Plage de Pontaillac accessible à pied par le chemin des douaniers.Grand marché magnifique à Royan .En avril avons pu profiter un peu de la terrasse.Agréable séjour en famille.Merci à Mme Philippe pour son accueil.

Tranquillité assurée

Si vous ne souhaitez pas trop marcher et utiliser votre voiture, n hésitez pas à prendre vos vélos ou prévoyez de les louer. Les stations de St Georges de Didone, Royan, Vaux sur mer , st Palais et au delà sont remarquablement équipées de pistes cyclables avec systématiquement une zone pour les piétons . De nombreuses visites de sites sont à découvrir. Nos plus belles vacances en France depuis longtemps .

Super séjour !

Sur le papier, l'annonce paraissait idéale. La réalité a dépassé nos espérances ! Communication et accueil parfait de la très sympathique propriétaire. La maison ou rien ne manque est située dans un environnement très calme tout en étant proche des commodités et des plages (accessibles à pieds ou à vélos). Bref, tout ça donne envie de revenir l'année prochaine pour continuer à profiter de cette belle région !

inscrit pour faire le marathon de Royan, nous en avons profité pour faire un we en famille. c'était très bien. Merci aux propriétaires de la maison, nous avons été très bien accueillis. Le lieu est très calme et la maison très bien, il ne manque rien.
