About this property

VILLA BY THE SEA GUIDALOCA SCOPELLO IMMERSED IN THE GREEN

Pretty stone house about 250 meters from the beach of Baia di Guidaloca-Scopello. The beach is sandy with small pebbles and can be reached on foot through a small road and a staircase on the cliff. The sea is limpid and crystalline.
The presence of several beaches on the beach, also equipped with bars and kiosks equipped for catering, offers not only the possibility to rent beach chairs and umbrellas but also to eat sandwiches, enjoy a good ice cream and quench their thirst with fresh drinks.
The house is surrounded by a large garden full of Mediterranean plants, roses, palm trees, olive trees and a large lawn. It is entirely fenced, has an access gate and is equipped with ample parking, outdoor shower, swing, gazebo with table and four chairs. Adjacent to the garden there is a terrace with a fixed barbecue, sink, table top, stove, marble table and garden chairs, sofa, for grilling and alfresco dining.
The house is on two floors (ground floor and basement)
The upper part:
- single room (two windows with mosquito nets and entrance door) with kitchen, living room, double sofa bed, 2 armchair beds, locker, chest of drawers, wooden table with two chairs, air conditioning; toilet with shower, shoe rack and towel rack (window fitted with mosquito net); patio with wooden pergola equipped with rattan and glass table, six wooden chairs, outdoor lounge, two-seater sofa, two small armchairs, two wooden deckchairs, tv P50 (who is equipped with a sky card can use it as it is present dedicated decoder).
- Through a staircase you go down to the lower part of the villa where there are two double bedrooms equipped with ceiling fans (in one you can also access through a wooden shutter door with a wooden door, which has a mosquito net overlooking a terrace, the other double bedroom has a high window, also equipped with a mosquito net); kitchen living room (which is accessed through a two-door wooden shutters door, equipped with a mosquito net overlooking the same terrace), with two bunk beds, two-seater emergency sofa bed, bamboo and glass table with six chairs in bamboo, chest of drawers, air conditioning; toilet with shower, washing machine, shoe cabinet and drawers for towels, aerator (no window); terrace with umbrella, table and four outdoor plastic chairs. The double bedrooms and the toilet are accessed through the kitchen-living room.
The house is reached by a private road 3 meters wide. The garden is equipped with an irrigation system programmed at night.
At about 2 kilometers there is a large supermarket with excellent butchers, suitable for fresh fruit, vegetables and all kinds of food.
Both in Scopello (3.8 km and Castellammare del Golfo (6 km.) There are a large number of restaurants, bars and restaurants where you can have a meal or spend pleasant time. You'll be spoiled for choice: from the famous "pane cunzatu" at the bakery in Scopello, to the pizzeria, to the typical Sicilian trattoria, to the finest restaurant.
Just 3.8 km you reach the small village of Scopello, which develops around the courtyard of a baglio (quadrangular agglomerate surrounded by walls, containing a source of water and a tank-drinking trough in the center of the fief, where the agricultural-pastoral farm work). From the broom of Scopello you can start a varied route, visit the old tonnara, or a tour of the many pottery producers and small shops for souvenirs and clothing Or go to the beautiful and uncontaminated Zingaro Nature Reserve: small paths strategically drawn on the cliffs, they reach the sea or climb the mountains, giving us one of the most intact Mediterranean landscapes that have remained.
If you are lucky, and if you respect the sacred silence that you breathe, you can admire: falcons pilgrims, Bonelli eagles, buzzards, kestrels, kites, in an environment rich in endemic and rare plants that make the reserve a real oasis of biodiversity, whose absolute queen is the dwarf palm - symbol of the reserve - that arises spontaneously in every ravine and ravine of the park.
The effort of the walk is amply repaid by a natural show of absolute beauty, and a refreshing bath in the clear and pristine beaches. The Zingaro Reserve and the sea that laps its shores, for their geographical position and the high depth of the water, can still offer us meetings elsewhere considered extraordinary. In fact, it is not uncommon, especially in spring and autumn, to come across cheerful communities of spinner dolphins, meet ocean cetaceans, observe the docile evolutions of sperm whales with powerful and hoarse breathing, or even lazy whales.
However, it is the depths that give the divers the strongest emotions: sponges, anemones and madrepores with dazzling colors cover the caverns and tunnels. Astroides colonies illuminate the most shady walls and ravines; the gorgonians stand out with their leafy branches and the spirographs show their colorful feathery tufts. The rock slabs, the submerged stacks, the fringed edges and the steep landslides constitute the natural refuge of white groupers, dentex, bream and corvine; the rocky points and cliffs that sink into the blue, are instead the obligatory destination of tuna, lecce and big amberjack. The submerged archaeological itinerary of the Faraglioni di Scopello is also impressive.
The town of Castellammare del Golfo is only 6 km from where you can reach the beautiful beach of San Vito Lo Capo with special boats. Of course in Castellammare del Golfo you can find many shops, and various supermarkets.
A few kilometers you reach other tourist destinations:
Alcamo 10 km, Balestrate 15 km, Segesta 25 km, Erice 35 km
