Sweetness of Anjou in former 15th century seigniorial mansion

Situated in a luxuriant and quiet countryside, the property mixes the charm of a seigniorial house (3 meters large stone renaissance firesplaces, beams, "à la française" garden...) and all the modern comfort (internet, numerous equipments).
The house has a fully-equipped kitchen, a separate dining room, a lounge with fireplace, three big bedrooms : the "master" one containing a big double bed, a fireplace, beams, mullioned windows, one other contains two beds and the third one containing one bed and two others stacked.
The garden about 6000 m2 is completely closed. It contains an orchard, a "à la française" garden, chapel and numerous places to stand depending on your desires.
Stores are only a few kilometers far.

The adults will find the unique charm of an old historic property with all the comfort and the peace to relax and a great starting point for exploring the very numerous possibilities of visits and discoveries of the region.
The children will find a very large completely secured garden, one trampoline, go kart, bikes and numerous games for unforgettable moments.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful week in the house in Sermaise. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The huge garden provided endless entertainment for our 3 children who enjoyed all of the activities provided, mostly the go kart and the hot tub. The house was beautifully kept and well positioned to explore Anjou. It was lovely having the grounds to ourselves and we could easily have stayed for another week. Highly recommended

Lovely property

We had a wonderful time in La Coudre! It is a lovely historic property set in its own well tended grounds all of which are for the guests sole use. It is incredibly peaceful and the garden and jacuzzi were a very relaxing place to be. The area offers many things to see and do and there is something for everyone’s taste. Arnaud the host was lovely and very generous leaving us home made juice and a bottle of cremant as well as kindly letting us eat the fruit and vegetables (which were plentiful!) from the garden.We were very sad to have to leave at the end of our stay! Thank you so much Arnaud for letting us stay in your lovely house!

Het is een uniek huis met prachtige tuin in een agrarische omgeving. De faciliteiten zijn prima. Alles is aanwezig. Je hebt wel een auto nodig want voor bezienswaardigheden en activiteiten moet je minimaal een half uur rijden. Naar bakker en supermarkt is een kwartier.

Incredible!

Our family loved every minute of our stay in this impressive house. We were blessed with very good weather so had plenty of time to explore the magnificent castles in the area and then return home to sit in the wonderful gardens of La Coudre, having a BBQ while enjoying family conversation and laughter - such a relaxed and wonderful place to be. Our hosts were warm, welcoming and very kind. They both spoke English very well, which we were thankful for as our French is tres mauvais! We would absolutely love to return here. We have been coming to France for many years and this is by far the most beautiful home we have stayed in. Thank you so much Arnaud and Segolene!

Wat een juweeltje!

Een heel warm welkom door de eigenaren. We kregen een uitgebreide rondleiding door het huis en de buitenruimte. De bubbels stonden koud en de jacuzzi stond klaar. Je verblijft in een huis met de allure van een paar honderd jaar geleden, maar de gemakken van nu. Vaatwasser, oven, magnetron, magimix, mixer, nespresso, alles is aanwezig. Heerlijk rustige omgeving, af en toe een auto of een koe te horen, maar verder heel privé. Veel dingen voor kinderen te doen, skelter, fietsen, basketbalnet, trampoline en binnen ook speelgoed en strips (in het Frans). Genoeg te beleven in de omgeving en de eigenaren willen met alle plezier advies geven. Absolute aanrader!

Séjour au calme dans la magnifique propriété d'Arnaud. Maison très propre à l'arrivée, électroménager fonctionnel et complet, lits confortables, pièces spacieuses, grande salle d'eau, 1 WC à chaque étage. Le parc est entièrement clôturé, idéal pour nos 3 chiens. Une très bonne adresse pour visiter la région.

Magnifique propriété de charme au calme, en Anjou !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet ancien relais de chasse plein de charme et de caractère qui a éré restauré avec beaucoup de goût. Cette bâtisse en pierre du pays est entourée d'un grand jardin très fleuri et clôturé. La maison est bien équipée, la literie confortable et le wifi fonctionne bien! Nombreuses possibilités de balades à vélo à travers les vignobles de la région et le long de La Loire. A découvrir!

Perfect house

The house has everything to make your vacation perfect. A great lordly house and fully fenced garden (6000m2!) We and our dog loved it. The caretaker Pascale speaks French and English and she is very helpful. The house is located between the towns of Angers and Saumur. There is much to see and to do in the region. We highly recommend you this great house.

Prachtig zeer goed geoutileerd huis met prachtige tuin. Middenin platteland tussen Angers en Saumur. Wat erg handig is is dat de beheerster perfect frans en perfect engels spreekt en zeer adequaat is en vlot reageert. Het huis heeft dikke muren waardoor het koel is bij hitte. Ik vond het een koopje als ik het vergelijk met andere huizen via airbnb.

La casa es muy bonita, to...

La casa es muy bonita, todo está muy nuevo y muy limpio, el jardín es perfecto para relajarte despues de visitar los castillos . Está enclavada en una zona muy tranquila, rodeada de maizales y girasoles, el silencio lo rompe el mugir de las vacas de una granja cercana. El clima, es fantástico, la zona preciosa, la casa increíble, que más puedo decir. ¡ Ah! Como olvidar a Mr. Arnaud, el dueño, una persona muy agradable, atenta y correcta. Madam Pascale, la encargada de recibirte, encantadora y super atenta, si se les pudiera puntuar, seguro que ambos obtendrian un 10/5. Hemos pasado unos días inolvidables, seguro que repetimos.
