Beautiful setting but marred

The pool is lovely and clean, proximity to the ocean is very nice. But the construction of another building on the property obstructs what used to be a gorgeous view. Repeated issues with a new power system arrangement, with the breaker tripping multiple times. Freezer section of fridge is good, but the fridge itself not really cold at all, even when set on Max cold setting. Some food that was in fridge spoiled after 1 day.

Hello Bill thank you for your comments Sorry for the inconvenience with the new system of card for electricity , we will forward your claim to the services provider , unfortunately we have no choice this system is mandatory in La PetIte Cote ; duly noted for the fridge we will replace it immediately . As far as the gorgeous view is concerned don’t worry once the construction will be completed in the coming weeks it will be as before , The architect took it in account when designIng the new ´ case ´ I hope to welcome You again sothat you can enjoy it

Great potential but......

This house is in a great location and we had a really good time. It's obvious that once upon a time this was a very nice house. While the outside of the property is very well maintained, the inside seems to be neglected. When we arrived there was trash items throughout the house (soda bottles, partially eaten ice cream etc). There were 2 broken ACs and broken out cabinet and door panels, drains that didn't work and a few other things that should be taken care of before renting to guests. To be fair, Abdou was very quick to address anything we asked him to take care of and overall we had a good experience. I would only suggest that the inside of the house get the same attention as the exterior. A little updating, repairs and small investments in linen, towels and other comfort items would go a long way to making this an even better destination. My family and I would definitely return to this property so please don't be scared away by anything I'm writing, the property is still a great place to stay.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Je recommande vivement Sokhna, la cuisinière/ femme de ménage, pour la qualité de sa cuisine, sa bonne humeur. Pour découvrir et apprendre la cuisine sénégalaise ! Elle est aussi une véritable "fée du logis". Quant à Abdou, le gardien, il repondra à toutes vos demandes, et sera toujours de bon conseil pour faciliter votre séjour. D'une discrétion totale, il entretient la villa et le jardin d'une façon remarquable.

Petit coin de paradis

Nous avons été plus que satisfaits de notre court séjour dans cette villa, le jardin est superbe et la piscine et l'accès direct à la plage le rendent paradisiaque ! Il y a une supérette et quelques restaurants très proche, ainsi que plusieurs terrasses sur la plage. Il est à noté que ne sont pas compris dans le prix : l'électricité (comme annoncé), le wifi et la femme de ménage. Ce sont des dépenses à prévoir en plus mais loin de nous freiner ! Le personnel sur place tout le long du séjour étai également très sympathique et à notre disponibilité au moindre problème ! Je recommande vivement !

8 jours fantastiques à la Somone dans cette maison de rêve les pieds au bord de l’océan… à proximité de la lagune et dans un environnement encore protégé et calme… Abdu est parfait : attentionné, gentil, discret et prévenant…Souleymane le cuisinier et Rhadi pour le ménage sont bien également… nous avons passé un séjour très agréable avec des activités variées et des visites bien encadrées et bie gérées par Dajbel à Bandia, à Goree et aux îles du Saloum ! Nous recommandons vivement la maison et ses prestations!

Un petit coin de Paradis

Des vacances au top, la maison est idéalement située à Somone, l'accès direct à la plage, la piscine qui peut être chauffée, le magnifique jardin, son coin canapé face à l'océan, la petite douche extérieur en remontant de la plage, la grande terrasse couverte...la maison est bien équipée, nous n'avons manqué de rien. Nous avons des souvenirs magnifiques. Abdou est un gardien d'une gentillesse infini qui est toujours la si vous avez besoin, Khady effectue l'entretien de la maison avec discrétion et gentillesse elle aussi. Quand à Thierry le propriétaire il est très réactif et très arrangeant. Merci a tous pour ses belles vacances!! Pour être déjà venues plusieurs fois à somone et loué d'autres maison, celle ci restera la perle sans aucun doute.

Superbe...

Superbe week-end entre amis ! La maison est très agréable et fonctionnelle, quant aux extérieurs où on a passé la majorité de notre temps, ils sont tout simplement magiques... Entre la grande terrasse, la piscine, la végétation et la mer, c'est dur de partir ! Un grand merci à Thierry ainsi qu'à Abdou pour l'accueil, et à Souley pour son excellent thieboudiène. On espère pouvoir y revenir !

Lovely long weekend

Our 3rd time staying here, always a wonderful experience. Renovated kitchen is very nice and upstairs seating area on the mezzanine is a plus. Pool can be heated, useful this time of year when the water is a little chilly. Walking distance to the nature walk at edge of mangrove lagoon, great for birdwatching. Nearby boat tour of the lagoon also fun.

Fantastic location

You wake up to the waves lapping on the beach, have a beautiful pool and an even better view. It is the best place we have stayed at yet in the Saly and Simone area. One aircon needed to be fixed and it was taken care of promptly....very appreciated.
