Cottage in the heart of the Loire castles,
very quiet, comfortable, fully renovated.
The garden is fenced for the safety of your children. Animals are accepted
In the price of the service are included:
4 beds made + basic groceries + 4 bikes (deposit 150 €)
You will take your meals in the very spacious and luminous veranda which gives directly on the garden, the pergola is contiguous for your comfort in the event of intense sun.
From one of the bedrooms you have a view of the CHER and the garden.
On the ground floor: the open kitchen overlooking the veranda, a 6-seater living room, a bedroom for 2 people, a bathroom with shower and an independent WC.
Upstairs: 2 independent bedrooms with direct access to a second bathroom / WC.
Wellness area: SAUNA & SPA optional private or by the hour.
Close to major tourist sites Chenonceau - Amboise - Villandry - Chambord - Chaumont - Azay le Rideau - Ussé - Cheverny - Beauval - Futuroscope, etc.)

Great location to see the castles

The location is stellar, in 45 min you have 12+ top castles around as well as the Beauval zoo. Very friendly owners, that live closeby. It was great that we could have our cats and have early check-in! Big garden with own parking space. Kitchen is very basic. Overall, the accomodation was reasonably clean, but it would be great to have a bit more than the basics (i.e soap in the bathroom, more towels, a few more knives and pots/pans in kitchen).

Drab and gloomy gite gives poor value for money

1. When we arrived, some of the kitchen surfaces were still sticky and the quilt cover in the downstairs bedroom was damp. 2. The river is not visible from the garden as claimed. The road is on a higher level and is cambered. On the far site there is a bank and a wall. So it is only visible from the road and the upstairs rooms which we did not use. 3. The furniture and equipment is all quite old – the armchair and sofa in the lounge did not match and uncomfortable. 4. The layout means that next door’s garden runs beside the lounge and downstairs bedroom. We could hear them talking outside. We could not open the shutters in either room because of this making them dark. Also the corridor to the toilet and shower room has a light activated by IR sensor. Unfortunately if you leave the bedroom, it is halfway down the corridor and so you do not trigger this light. 5. The TV is very small and if 6 people were present would make it hard for them all to see it. 6. I found the stairs very narrow and slippery, with tiny treads. I only used them twice as we didn’t use upstairs but I almost fell both times. On a positive note Guy and Martine were welcoming and helped with a problem that we had. The location is good and the garden is very attractive

It is very difficult to respond to these comments and this rating. In 14 years of tourist accommodation it had to happen one day. Il est très difficile de répondre à ces commentaires et à cette note. En 14 ans d'hébergements touristique il fallait que ça arrive un jour.

Très bon séjour

Très bon accueil. Très bon séjour malgré canicule, pas de climatisation au 1er étage. Endroit calme et bien placé pour visiter châteaux de la Loire et vignobles.Supermarché et Bornes de recharge électrique proches.

Große Ferienwohnung in zentraler Lage

Große Ferienwohnung mit Garten, zentral gelegen am Cher-Radweg. Die Stadt Tours aber auch einige interessante Schlösser (Chenonceau, Villandry u.a.) sind mit dem Rad wunderbar zu erreichen. Überaus freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Besitzer. Trotz Verständigungsproblemen (wir sprechen leider nur unzureichend französisch) hat die Kommunikation immer geklappt. Gute Tipps und Empfehlungen, insbesondere das Restaurant "Le Pigeonnier de Fombeche" in St.-Martin-le-Bleu........
