West Maui Beachfront Luxury Condo 30 Steps From The Ocean!

Mahalo nui! One of the things we love about our location is that we are part of a wonderful neighborhood with lots of options within walking distance. Check out Chef David's cinnamon buns - but arrive early before he sells out!

Aloha Phillip, glad you enjoyed your stay! We're in the last days of this whale season, so getting ready to say Aloha to them until probably November. The honu (turtles) will stick around 😎. Come back any time - a hui hou!

Mahalo for your kind words. It is a good reminder that while most everything you might need in terms of views, beach access and so on is available right outside your door, there are nearby alternatives. Often, if we happen to get an overcast or rainy day, you will find that 10 minutes down the road in Lahaina it’s glorious sunshine. Never be afraid to step out and make your own adventures!

Mahalo! You probably caught the last of the humpbacks before they began their long swims back to Alaska. They are usually gone in April or early May at the latest.

Mahalo nui. Remember, there are no unfair questions (though my answers may not always be on target! 😜 Welcome back any time! Aloha!

Mahalo nui loa for your kind words! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and have carried fond memories back with you. Come back anytime!

I've always wanted to do a one-word review of something - I think yours is perfect! 😎 Mahalo.

Aloha Kenneth, thanks for staying with us and for your comments! We are always looking for ways to improve our guest experience, so please feel free to send any thoughts or suggestions. Mahalo!

Mahalo for your kind words. The only thing better than staying on Maui for 3 weeks... is staying for 4 weeks! A hui hou!

Aloha Tim. We certainly had some 'weather' during your stay, including the unusual 24 hour power outage to the entire West side of Maui! I'm not sure of the emergency lighting issue, and will look into it. I apologize also for the beach chairs. We recently replaced two of them, but sometimes they don't find their way back to the condo, so will have to check to see what happened. Hopefully, conditions will be better on your next visit. A hui ho!

Mahalo for your kind words. Our condo is not quite a Tardis, but it is quite roomy and we try to equip it with what we would want at the beach. A hui hou.

Aloha Michelle, Great having you in our Maui home! Please come back any time. Mahalo, K

No, thank you - mahalo nui loa! We are very happy you enjoyed your time here and hope your grins last until you return. The turtles (and occasional monk seal) await your return. A hui hou - until we meet again!

No worries - you will always be welcomed back! Mahalo nui for being such wonderful guests!! P.S. We have some things in mind for continued upgrades in the condo to further enhance our guests' experience. Stay tuned...

Mahalo for your stay, and we are very sorry that circumstances made you make it shorter than expected 😕. Perhaps at another time we can make it up to you - we’ll keep the French Press warm and the coffee strong! Aloha!

The star watching can be terrific, especially off our upper level lanai. We do ask everyone at Lokelani to keep outside lights to a minimum to help with the views. As for jogging, something we tend to avoid anymore, there are a lot of options. If you head south from our condo about a mile, you will have sidewalks the whole way. You can then cut through a beach parking lot and pick up the north Kaanapali boardwalk. There tend to be a lot of folks strolling there, but it's still a pleasant run (as much as one can be so 😜)

Mahalo for your review! This time of year, the day doesn't start until you've seen your 'morning whale' from one of the lanais - which generally doesn't take long. Of course the views are pretty nice the rest of the year too. Your note on the pots and pans is a good reminder. We fairly recently upgraded a number of the kitchen tools - new knives, cutting boards, insulated tumblers, etc. We'll put new pans on the list next! Again, Mahalo nui for choosing to spend your Maui vacation at Lokelani C205, and welcome back any time!

Mahalo to you for choosing to stay with us, and we are very happy you enjoyed your stay! If there’s anything better than grilling fish while enjoying a glass of wine as the sun sets past a sleeping turtle on the beach, I haven’t come across it! Come back soon!

Mahalo Angelica, it sounds like you packed a lot of good times into your stay! I’m glad you discovered some favorites among the food trucks. I often recommend the trucks as convenient and cost-effective ways to get some great meals. Hope to see you in Maui again.

Mahalo nui for your generosity (and honesty!). Like you, we've sometimes worried about Honokowai being 'discovered', but I think the area's friendly character is secure. We plan to be around for a long time, so a hui kaua - until we meet again - we'll do our best to keep everything ready for your next visit! Aloha.

A hui hou - until we meet again! Mahalo nui! K

Mahalo for staying with us for your Maui vacation! Your comments on the beach and our steps are good points. The extent of the beach is heavily influenced by prevailing winds, surf and tide. Some times it stretches the length of our condo complex and across the neighboring condos, and at others it is comparatively small. Seasons also seem to play a major role, with the beach tending to be much smaller in summer than winter. I stayed in the condo immediately after you, and had never seen the sand as low as it was this July - normally it is halfway up the staircase, not all the way at the bottom. Clearly, the higher the sand, the more beach we will have. I'm happy to report that by the time I left in early August, the sand was starting to recover. As to the missing forks, I'll have to admit that it's a constant struggle to keep everything that belongs in the condo in place. Some things just seem to have minds of their own and decide to wander off, probably as friends and family get together across multiple units for group food and fun. We will continue to try to train our things to stay put, and in the mean time will recruit some new forks (and whatever else) onto the Lokelani C205 team as needed. Thanks again for everything, and come back soon. A hui hou!

Mahalo nui for your kind words! It sounds like you got out quite a it in the short time you were on-island - Ho'omaika'i Ana (Congratulations!). There's certainly no shortage of things to see and do on the beautiful island of Maui. Driving some or all of the northwest shore gets less attention than some other trips such as the road to Hana (though some of the locals prefer it that way). Even if you don't want to drive all the way around, there are some spectacular views just a few miles past Kapalua on Highway 30. Stop at the (dirt parking lot) overlook of Honolua Bay to watch all the surfers, especially in the winter months. If you choose to go on, you're in for some more treats further up the road! Kipa Hou Mai - come visit again!

Aloha, and Mahalo once again for your patience with the unfortunate start to your Maui vacation. As you note, in addition to the refund we provided, we in fact have changed over our management and cleaning service to the new provider you interacted with. Our previous manager had provided years of good support, but the combination of a change in ownership and post-COVID staffing challenges appears to have been too much for them. We wish them well, but are very happy with our new manager. We hope you will come back and visit us again. Mahalo.
