Best location at Wintergreen Resort! 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath slope side condo on Eagles Swoop Ski Slope!

Eagles Court is a gated condominium community opposite a Gourmet Market which sells all the essentials from toiletries to beer and wine and hot and cold foods such as pizza and subs. Within eyesight and a brief stroll to the Mountain Village including The Edge bar/restaurant with live entertainment on weekends, the Coppermine Restaurant, the ski rental /lift tickets facility and the shops at the Mountain Inn, Eagles Court is perfectly situated. Sit back on the deck and watch the sun come up over the Blue Ridge Mountains and the action on the slopes or sit inside in front of the log fireplace.

The condo has a master bedroom with a queen bed and half bath. The second bedroom has a single bed with a pull out trundle. The main full bath was recently renovated. You have a full kitchen with breakfast bar connecting into the main living room with a flat screen smart tv, Direct TV, free wifi, Wii, DVD player and all the books you can possibly read.

Just a short drive to multiple Virginia wineries (Afton Mountain, Cardinal Point, Flying Fox, Hilltop Berry Farm Winery, Veritas Vineyards), Breweries (Devils Backbone, Bold Rock Hard Cider, Wild Wolf, Blue Toad Cider, Blue Mountain Brewery, etc), and Silver Back Distillery.

If you enjoy hiking be sure to try the more than 30 miles of Wintergreen trails that are just steps from Eagles Court or try the Appalachian Trail that connects to Wintergreen's trails or take a 30 minute drive to Crabtree Falls which is the tallest cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi.

This location, the fireplace and access to movies made our experience wonderful. The dishwasher didn’t work, but I’m sure that was a fluke. It’s a small place and closets could’ve been neater, but again the location makes up for anything lacking. Being on the slopes, walking distance to the lodge/market and skiing in and out was very convenient. We enjoyed our stay over New Year’s! Thank you

Great Weekend Stay!

Wintergreen quick visit

We really enjoyed our quick trip to Wintergreen, the resort area is nice. The condo was perfect for our needs and was very clean with amenities as listed. We would stay again!

Location is perfect!

We absolutely loved this condo and its location. We were across the street from the resort center, across from the market to pick up a pizza, and of course steps from the ski slope. The owner was responsive and available when we had questions.

Comfy condo which is slopeside to Eagle Swoop ski trail. Great location, with convenient access to ski rentals, the Edge restaurant, and Black Rock market/convenience store. We enjoyed our long weekend!

Amazing!

We LOVED this condo - perfect location in Wintergreen! 2 min walk to the Market which is a great place for breakfast/lunch/pizza and all the goodies you may need! 5 min walk to the Lodge and the restaurants. We are coming back and staying here again! Well equipped condo, everything you need for a great relaxing time!

Fall weekend

Great location for visiting the area! We really enjoyed our weekend in the mountains visiting breweries, hiking and the annual Oktoberfest was a bonus! Clean and comfortable condo definitely recommend. Only downside was that the boys wanted to play the Wii at night and most of the games are missing or disks are not able to be read due to scratches. Already considering booking again for a snowboard trip!

Great for skiing

Location is everything! Quick 3 minute walk to the market, 5 minute walk to rental, and even if you didn’t want to ski onto the blue out back, you could walk to the bunny slopes in ski boots without much trouble. No frills property, but location can’t be beat! Fireplace after skiing all day was amazing!! Don’t forget to bring paper products as TP was not provided!

Everything you need!

We loved staying here! Not only is it in the perfect location, but they stocked everything so well. Light bulb went out and they extras on hand, so many extra blankets and bedding if you need it, and we even saw an extra fridge filter. The chest of toys for our kiddos were also such a nice surprise! Thanks for a great stay!

We’ll-appointed condo in a convenient location

We came to Wintergreen over a holiday weekend and chose this condo because of location. It was a short easy walk to all the events for the Music Festival and restaurants at the resort. The condo was nicely furnished as described. We found the bed comfortable for sleeping and the living room furniture pleasant to sit in. The kitchen lacked nothing for our meal preparation and the deck provided a wonderful place to sit with our morning coffee to watch the sun rise over the mountains. It was a hot weekend during our stay but the air-conditioning kept the condo pleasant. The shower in the bathroom had plenty of water pressure. The property owner and manager responsive and communicative throughout the process of renting. There was a hiccup at the start of the stay, but Stephen immediately responded and the issue was quickly resolved to our satisfaction. We would stay here again in future visits to Wintergreen.

Fantastic Family Gateway-Perfect Location

This was a great experience from beginning to end. Unit is in the absolute best location. Maybe 15 steps from the front door and we had our skis on heading down the slope. The Market (Wintergreen grocery store and gas station) was so close we didn’t even need our jackets. Wood fireplace was very cozy, plenty of dry (perfectly split) wood stocked inside the unit. Huge selection of books, movies and special thanks for Amazon prime fire account, awesome online movie selections. Beds were cozy, more than enough blankets and a plethora of cooking utensils. This place has a great vibe, from the moment we walked in we knew it was going to be special. Thanks again for allowing us the opportunity to rent your unit. Location Location Location

Not only was this place in the best location ever . The place was very home like feeling . Market was across the street skiing , tubing , rental office , restaurants and pretty much everything is next to you with in a few steps . Back porch was fun to watch the skiers go by . Outside grilling and bonfires . Easy to ski in and out . Well maintained grounds . Best part of our rental experience was the love of animals all around . Everything was tailored to having your family pet with you . Comforting all the way around . Had a dog bed for them by the warmest fireplace ( wood supplied and can get more stashed outside ) . Great selection of books to read .and gaming for the kids / smart tv with you tube live tv and other accessible guest features .New appliances and all cooking items you would ever need . Also the mattreces were very comfortable . We even spent the night on the wonderful sectional by the fireplace with loungers on each end . Will most certainly rent this place again

I first visited Wintergreen Resort while on holiday from England in 1998, and immediately fell in love with Wintergreen and the Blue Ridge Mountains. After moving to the US roughly six months later, it became an immediate goal to own a piece of property that we could use as a weekend escape.

Why they chose this property

In 2000 my wife and I purchased our first property on the mountain in Eagles Court. The convenience of this particular unit compared to most others is what sold us. From the front door you are just a short stroll to the Gourmet Market, the restaurants, the trails, ski slopes, activity center, tennis, golf, etc.
In a short drive you can visit multiple wineries, breweries, lakes, stables, etc. And if all that sounds too much, then simply just sit on the balcony and take in the mountain views and fresh mountain air.
Seventeen years later, we are still happy to call Wintergreen our home away from home.
