Gorgeous crystal clear waters right out the back door! Eighty feet from the sliding doors is the best snorkeling on the island, between the shore and a beautiful coral reef, in shallow water that is easy to navigate. There are endless colorful fish and beautiful coral heads for exploring. Azure Breeze is a very quiet, cozy and private place, where you may not see more than a handful of people pass by in a day! With only six two-story units, our villa offers privacy and serenity. With 3 bedrooms, 3 baths It is well appointed and comes with all the amenities you need, including a kayak and adult snorkel gear!
The beautiful master includes an en suite bathroom and a deck with stunning views of the Caribbean. A second upstairs bedroom features two twin beds and its own private bath. Downstairs, a third bedroom with a queen bed, has access to a bathroom in the hall.
Nearby restaurants include Over-The-Edge, Kaibo Yacht Club’s Beach Bar, Rum Point, Caboose, Italian Oven, Tukka, and Eagle Rays. Activities include nearby Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Gardens, snorkeling, world-class scuba diving, hiking the Mastic Trail, Stingray City, Rum Point (with its jaw- dropping views), Crystal Caves, jet skiing, fishing, swimming, bioluminescent tour, and a visit to the East End. Only 6 miles up the road Rum Point offers the famous Wreck Bar, casual beach dining, fine dining, beach rentals, and Stingray City departures, and is a must-do! A Georgetown visit offers The Turtle Farm, the Blowholes, Dolphin Cay, Hell, Underwater Submarine Tours, Duty Free shopping in both Georgetown and Caymana Bay, and the amazing Seven Mile Beach. Perfect!

This lovely home is everything advertised, and more. Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay and made so many happy memories. The kitchen is well furnished, the home was spotless and the information the hosts provided about the area was very helpful in making our trip even better. On several occasions we were the only people on the beach. If you like a quiet, peaceful vibe, this is the place for you.

Beautiful location!

We had a wonderful week at Azure Breeze #3! The north side of the island is the perfect place to get away from it all. The house is just as advertised, well appointed, and is just steps away from the ocean. We enjoyed snorkeling and kayaking right out of the front door! Chris was very helpful and sent us all of the info. we needed for a relaxing stay. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Loved our Stay

My family and I totally enjoyed our stay on the Grand Cayman Islands. The Hartzell's home on the North Side beach front was in a great spot for us to use as home base. It was away from the busyness of George Town and Seven Mile Beach but close enough for us to go and explore these areas. The home was clean and very welcoming with exactly what we needed. Thank you Chris. We would love to come back some time again!

Peace of Paradise

This certainly lived up to its name, because it's definitely a piece of paradise. We enjoyed the view, the quiet location, the comfortable bed (we only used one) and all the conveniences. Chris , the owner, is an excellent communicator and gave us many great suggestions for places to go and things to do. Our last night here, we even found some large beautiful shells on the beach. I would highly recommend!

it was very close to home -- almost tom much cooking ware beds were perfect beach was a bit disappointing but i was very windy much of the time ( a bit unusual) nice people only one issue -- no hot water to the tub which was the reason for our selection

Family Spring Break 2018

Your home was perfect! We loved the white binder, it had great suggestions for activities, restaurants, car rental, everything. Everything was labeled and directions for electronics were helpful. We used the kayak! The snorkeling was amazing in front of the unit, even when it was a little windy. The view in front of the house was spectacular. We loved getting up to watch the sunrise. And, we all appreciated being away from the busyness and chaos of 7 mile beach. Thank you Chris and family for sharing your home.

Tranquility

The property is every bit as perfect as it seems! The views were amazing. I could have easily sat on the couch and just stared at the amazing water all day... but I didn’t have to because I got the same stunning view from the upstairs balcony while drinking morning coffee, from lounger laying in the sun, and back porch having a glass of wine. Soon all my stress melted away! Location was perfect! Beach to ourselves and 7 miles to rum point area. Plenty of good restaurants within 10 min. Also easy 30 min drive to seven mile area. Chris was super informative, easy to work with and went the extra mile to be sure we had we needed for our stay. House very clean and well equipped. We were so glad we chose this vrbo.

Needed a 2nd week!

Absolutely beautiful property! On the Northside it is nice and quiet and having the beach to yourself is wonderful. The villa is equipped with everything you may need except food, LOL. The snorkeling directly in front of the Villa is wonderful - we snorkeled every day we were able to. We did several activities this week including renting a Catamaran, going to the Turtle center, Botanical Gardens and other things. The Over the Edge restaurant just down the road has wonderful food and having a small grocery store close by was so convenient. When we traveled to Rum Point we noticed how the villa's got closer and closer to each other. During our stay we only saw people staying in the other 5 Villa's. There is no way to explain how beautiful the area was - we would have loved a second week to keep enjoying the beautiful snorkeling. Only negative is the mosquitos - they were plentiful but nothing bug spray didn't fix.

Paradise Adventure

First I want to thank the Hartzell’s for allowing us the privilege to stay in their home in the Cayman Islands. I say home because it felt very much like if we were visiting their home and staying with friends. Getting up in the morning and seeing that beautiful ocean view was incredible, but what I enjoyed the most is waking up early and taking a swim while snorkeling all around the area. I was able to see a beautiful lion fish, a huge lobster, a moray eel, some beautiful squid fish and of course countless of beautiful fish that were all within 200 yards from the condo. Of course, we did do the sting ray adventure, horseback riding in the ocean and I even took my son scuba diving. Everything about the Cayman Islands is truly remarkable. We cannot thank the Hartzell’s enough for their courtesies and all of the information that they packed into that white binder and the emails that they sent us to keep us informed. . Our stay was nothing short of AMAZING!!! I would highly recommend this peace of paradise to everyone. I know that when I make my way to Cayman again, they will be my first contact to stay.

The fabulous vacation.

Five of us including my 86 year-old mother just came back from a week vacation at Chris’s lovely house. The house is located in very quiet neighborhood, very clean, with everything we needed. But most importantly, it’s at the best location for people like us who love snorkeling. We have checked out the west side ( 7 mile beach) and the east side, and find the best snorkeling area is indeed at our backyard. Even better than the coral garden, because the water is shallower here and the fishes are closer, so many different types, including star fish, conch, all right here. The waves are gentle most of the days. Only one day when the wind was 20 mph, we went to the 7 mile beach ( cemetery beach) where the wave was much bigger, could not even go in the water without being flipped. As we came back to the house, we went right in the water and enjoyed the beautiful fish and swim. There were no mosquitoes during the day. And we didn’t stay outside past the evening as it is much more comfortable staying inside with AC. We went in the water at least 2 times every day and hade the most relaxed and enchanted vacation. The sting ray charter we went per the direction of Chris was also fantastic. My mother was acting like a 5 year-old. Highly recommend this house.

Spring Break for the Family

Our first time to Grand Cayman and it was a blast!! The property is exactly as advertised. 3 bedroom 3 bath with a king, queen and two twin beds. Plenty of room for our 5 adults and one teen. The master bedroom is spacious and open with a very comfortable king bed. The kitchen and living room is nice and open so everyone can be together. It could use a bigger garbage can. Owners provide all the essentials and sports equipment you need. The beach is quiet but a little rocky and seaweedy. View from the patio and balcony are amazing!! Nice location with a cheap restaurant and small grocery store minutes away. Run point is a short drive and has a nice beach for swimming, restaurant and water sports. Georgetown/seven mile beach are roughly 45 minutes by car but not a bad drive. The driving on the left and roundabouts take a little getting used to. We did plenty of activities and the location made it easier to do since the crystal caves are near there as well as a stingray cruise and bioluminescent tour departing from Rum Point. All in all a great trip and the villa was absolutely perfect for the what we needed!!

Still the BEST on Grand Cayman

This is our third stay and won't be our last. This is the absolute BEST location on the island and the absolute BEST equipped and decorated place!! Everything you need is there, with the possible exception of more than one spatula - but I use multiple spatulas every day at home so I'm glad they even had one as most places don't. ;-)Lili, the owners' daughter and now the property manger, was super responsive to our questions, especially when we had trouble with connecting to the TV!!! She provided excellent service.The place is always super clean, and, as I said, exceptionally well equipped, with nice items (dishes, glasses, silverware, pots and pans, towels, etc. etc.) - not the more typical mismatched items provided in many rentals.It is obvious this is a well loved family home and you won't want to leave.And for me, an avid snorkeler who LOVES being able to just walk in the water and see all the pretty fish and other marine life, there's no place better than the Northside of Grand Cayman. We will be back!!!

Great Stay at Azure Breeze

This is a great property and is exactly as show in VRBO. It is so cool to be right on the beach and be able to snorkel or kayak in your back yard. This is probably the best stocked VRBO I have ever been in. From beach gear, snorkel equipment, kitchen set up, and even kitchen and toiletry items. When you sign up to rent the owners sends you an extensive list of all that is at the condo and it was very accurate. She also sends you a lot of details about the island that we found very helpful and used to plan our activities for the day. It was incredibly useful. The only thing to consider is that it is much slower side of the island than seven mile. The beaches are not groomed the same way so there is a lot of sea grass on the beach. It is very natural and once we got used to it it did not bother us too much. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere most of the time but it is about 45min to an hour if you want to go to the west (seven mile area). We loved Rum Point and Kaibo Beach Club but other than that not much on the Northeast side. You also need to stock up on groceries on your way in because it is about a 20-25 min drive to nearest decent grocery store. Overall amazing condo and very neat right on the beach. If you looking for a quiet relaxing location this is definitely your spot. And the owners could not be better to work with! Loved our stay!

BEST RENTAL ON CAYMAN!!!!!

This was our very long overdue second visit to this property. We first visited in April 2017 (please see our first review) and were blown away by the attention to detail, cleanliness, LOCATION, fabulous snorkeling, and incredible thoroughness of our host, Chris, in thinking of everything (and more) that one might wish to have while vacationing. We planned to come back the following year, but a close friend's daughter's wedding . We finally made it back this year and the villa is even better. If you are an avid snorkeler, you cannot beat the location - it's like having your own private aquarium to snorkel in just steps from your door. But the care that Chris has taken with their house is even better. Everything is in top notch shape, the furniture is so comfortable, the decor is incredible, and the kitchen is incredibly well stocked. It has everything you need and not just cast offs - a complete (more complete set than I have myself) of dishes (for 12 I think), glasses of all kinds galore, mixing bowls, casseroles, complete set of pots and pans, nice knives, etc., etc., etc. And everything is well organized (lots of labels!) and all is so clean. Really, if you are looking at this place, don't hesitate!! Rent it now! You won't be sorry. Oh, I forgot, there are also lots of fins and snorkels, and a kayak! Can't wait to be back!!!

We honeymooned in Grand Cayman 33 years ago and that is when we fell in love with the island, and specifically the north side of the island. It was different than any beach that we had experienced. Azure Breeze is serene and peaceful, with breathtaking views of the Carribean Sea! And, oh , the snorkeling! No matter how many times you dip your head into the water, you will be amazed and awed at the display of nature that you will experience in our backyard. Top your day of snorkeling off with a bottle of wine in the kayak out back watching the sunset. Then relax as you are amazed at the shooting stars in the star-studded sky!
