Beachy Gulf Front Townhome at Portside Villas #14! Close to Beach and Pool.

Portside Villas is a gated town home development at the west end of Pensacola Beach. There are a total of 36 town homes located on 300' of pristine Gulf front. The end result is a private and peaceful Gulf front retreat.

This town home has a garage capable of accommodating two cars on the ground level. The main level one floor above has the kitchen, living and dining area as well as one bedroom with a private bath and a half bath to service the living area. The laundry room is located off the kitchen. There is a deck which runs the entire length of the south side of this level - this is where the grill is located. Upstairs you will find the master suite which includes a master bath and private Gulf facing balcony. There is also a 2nd bedroom on this level with a private bath and large window overlooking the living area. The pool and tennis court, which are located in the center of the development, complete this pristine vacation property.

Vacationing is simple at Portside Villas as it is just minutes from local shopping, dining (the world famous Peg Leg Pete's seafood restaurant is located just down the street) and entertainment.

A great location

Easy access to the beautiful beach. Loved the water view from three rooms. Property management company was very responsive when we needed something. Futons were not sleepable for people older than 5. Beds were fine.

Clean, awesome location (love our walks to Tom Thumb and Peg Legs), seemed like a private beach to ourselves on some well as the pool! Only recommendation - possibly having some furniture on the ground level 'patio'. When it rained, it would be nice to sit out there in something other than our beach chairs.

A couple small things that weren’t great when we stayed here first, and they really were small, have been improved. It’s right on the beach but with a pool and tennis courts and easy access to other things to do on red flag days when we can’t get in the gulf. The spaces in the house and views from it were great. Paradise Beach Homes was easy to deal with, quick to respond about two minor maintenance issues, and very friendly. This will be our top choice rental for our next Pensacola Beach visit.

Great location but needs some TLC

Upon arrival we were shocked to discover 3 of the 4 beds were dirty. Luckily housekeeping brought clean sheets right away. The king size bed in the master makes a terrible clanking sound with the slightest move and the mattress sags in the middle. Kitchen faucet needs to be replaced because it won’t stop leaking. Rooms are larger than they appear in the photos so that was a plus. Nice cozy living area that had plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 teens. The location is wonderful with 30 second walk to beach and the property is quite. The townhome has great potential if some updates were made.

They lack pots, pans and bowls with lids to store left overs in. Over all experience was wonderful. Great location. I got ripped off for booking by VRBO and then another booking fee from the agency that rents the house so be careful when booking. Although I did book through the rental agency I still got charged a VRBO fee of $145.00 which I was very disappointed in considering it was Spring Break and that was passed on to the girls. The mattress in the downstairs bedroom could be replaced it is pretty uncomfortable so I ended up sleeping on the sofa.

The property itself was perfect, steps from the sand and beautiful gulf! It is located past the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk and is on a very quiet, not-crowded area of the beach! The shops and restaurants are a 5 minute drive away for when we wanted them! Portside Villas seems to attract a considerate, quiet crowd and there was always space at the lovely pool! The condo was roomy, very clean, and had everything we could ask for in the kitchen incl a fridge with ice maker, coffee pot, a table to seat all it sleeps, platters and pitchers! The small soaps provided in the restrooms lasted for our hands for the week and so did the 3oz dish soap. A bathroom for each room made getting ready to go out very nice! Highly recommend this unit, Portside Villas, and Pensacola Beach! Thank you so much for the great memories!

Great Rental with a few things to change

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I first vacationed in Pensacola 2 years ago, and fell in love with the Portside Villas property. The beaches were very private, property was gated, and the pool was large and very clean. When deciding where to stay this year, Portside Villas was the only place we considered. Compared to our rental 2 years ago, this unit had a few noticeable things missing. The biggest issue was the wash-off area under the house. Most units have a large decking area where you can wash off sand and place beach items, this unit only had a small number of stone pavers to walk on. The main issue with this is that the sand did not wash off the stone pavers, so sand was still on your feet and tracked into the house. Another issue we found was that there were no rugs anywhere in the house, every surface was tile. Without rugs, there is nowhere for sand to be caught, so sand was everywhere on the tile. Besides these issues, the property was very clean and very nice. The kitchen was large, the air conditioner worked very well, and the living area was great.

Pensacola Beach Vacation

The location of the property was perfect! Short 100’ walk down the boardwalk to the beach. The house was nice and had plenty of dishes and utensils for any meal that was cooked. The only issue was the two upstairs bathtubs wouldn’t drain, so our family of 7 had to all shower in the downstairs shower.

It was clean and the entire complex was well maintained. The only downside was parking. There is tandem parking in the garage and apparently only one designated space outside. Don't bother trying to park anything larger than a medium sized SUV in the garage. Because of the location of this unit there was no room to make the turn. Some of our family had to park outside the complex. Very inconvenient! Must be very trying during the busy season. That aside, our stay was wonderful with beautiful views of the beach. Definitely would recommend this property to anyone interested in a family friendly vacation.
