At 60 m from the beach, 10 mn walk from the train station, in the lively centre of Fuengirola, the apartment is surrounded by the best restaurants, 'tapas bar' and all the shops. It remains however quiet with its large terrace on the same floor where you can cook (barbecue), eat and rest. Recently and totally renovated, it offers excellent facilities: washing machines, television, unlimited WiFi (connection to all internet TVs by tablet or smartphone).
A truly privileged place! With the bonus of a little daily exercise since it is a 4th floor without lift ☺.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Yves' apartment. the access was uncomplicated and communication with Ana brilliant. It was homely, cozy and gave us everything we needed. We got used climbing 4th floor, not so great with the suitcases but we managed. The apartment is so central to everywhere we went and this was a big plus for us. Next door a smaller supermarket and fruit & vegetable shop, 5 minutes away a bigger supermarket. We didn't miss a thing other than maybe a tea towel which we gladly brought with us. The terrace is great and we used it daily. The beds are very comy and bedrooms at night very quiet located to the back. We slept like babies. We didn't mind the delivery drivers in the road (as somebody commented), in the end it is a very central location and for that it was a relatively quiet location. Felt like home!

This was absolutely one of my favorite stays in Fuengirola! I’ve stayed many times here before but this stay was close to everything including the beach, restaurants, and local grocery stores. I would absolutely stay here again!

What an excellent property. Great terrace, ideal for chilling and watching the sun go down across the roof tops. Apartment is spacious and clean. Location is ideal for staying local and exploring. Lovely little Gem

Great property in a great location, we got used to the stairs after five weeks. Good communication with Eva. The large terrace was great to sit on at night under the stars. Would love to book up again for next year.

Fabulous Stay

Had a fabulous 10 day in this apartment with my brother. Central location 5 mins walk from the beach, supermarket downstairs, 10 mins from the rail station. All facilities worked well including super fast WiFi. Will deffo book again. Only negative from us would be nice to have some sun beds on the terrace

Perfect location!

The location was just perfect - close to everything but still unbelievably quiet and peaceful! We also loved the roof terrace. <3 Getting up the stairs was really good exercise - but I have to say it was getting a bit exhausting by the end of our stay. :D The apartment was cosy and homelike. Fantastic apartment, well equipment,wonderful terrasse wiev.

We stay in the apartment for 3 month and we enjoyed our stay. Nice and clean and it is very Well situation in the middle of Fuengirola. Close to the beach,the supermarked and the restaurants. The Big terrasse is wonderful and we spend a lot of time there and enjoyed the fantastic view over the town and mountains. Excellent location and property had all we needed!

Could not ask for more for the money we paid. Apartment fully equipped and spacious. Large terrace with nice chairs and table. Located a minute walk from the beach and city centre. Even with the shops and restaurants at the door step it is very quiet for a good night sleep. Thanks Eva for letting us to check in early and check out late. Would we come back? Definitely!!! Loved every minute of the stay!!!

Beach apartment

What a fantastic apartment , fab location , fab terrace , spacious , clean and tidy , everything we could possibly need for 6 people and very close to amazing restaurants and the beach . We were very happy with all this apartment had to offer , close to train station to for airport transfer and to visit other parts . This is a place we come to every year but from now on will not be booking anywhere other than this apartment . Thankyou Yves for opening your house to us and for being so very kind and helpful .

Great location

This property is located literally just around the corner from Plaza Chinorros. It is 3 minutes walk to the beach, a similar distance to the main square and around 5 minutes from fish alley. However, even at the weekend the apartment is quiet, so you have the best of both worlds. The apartment has all the necessary amenities, although some modern sun loungers would have been welcome to get max advantage of the private sun terrace. The deck chairs provided are ok but not that comfy. One thing I must add is that the large double bed was extremely comfy. Didn’t sleep in the other single beds but also seemed ok. The apartment is on the top floor with a lot of stairs to negotiate. This was not really a problem for us and we got used to it over the course of the week. Overall this apartment was very good and we would definitely book again.

Nice apartment in central location

We stayed a month in this apartment and found it to be very central, and only five minutes walk from the beach. A nice two bedroomed apartment with a large rooftop terrace with views over the rooftops and mountains, but not the sea. We found the kitchen very small, but everything was included. Just be aware this apartment is on the fourth floor with no lift. 68 steps. We knew this already and wasn’t a problem for us. Unfortunately a couple of problems one being quite a nasty smell coming from the toilet each morning which we contacted the agent about. Hopefully that will be sorted out and another thing which isn’t the fault of the owner. The water is turned off around 1045 each night until seven the next morning, assuming it’s because Fuengirola is short of water. Would say for the money we paid this apartment is good value and in a great location off a side road and very quiet.

Pests and other issues

I do not like to write negative reviews but this property let me down on so many fronts I feel I have to. The main issue was we had a cockroach issue while we were there which the host tried to brush off as just something experienced in old town fuengirola (I have stayed in the area for 10 years and never encountered roaches inside, the street yes but never inside). Some assistance was eventually forthcoming on the 5th day in the form of bait and then I had the pleasure of disposing of dead roaches while on holiday. Other issues were The large sunny terrace is indeed that but it is not very tranquil as the local delivery drivers parked below the apartment to deliver to the pedestrian zones nearby and are very noisy. No tea towel supplied Bathtowels and bedlinen very poor - we went and bought new towels. Smooth tiles at the exit to the shower are dangerous when wet No wash facilities in the toilet. You have to go to the shower room to wash your hands - very unhygienic. Also there was a very bad odout at all time in the toilet. The 68 steps up to the apartment are very demanding after a night out of a few hours on the sun (and we are a fit couple who would walk several hours per day) No additional rubbish bags. Terrace gets very dirty and the BBQ is a joke Musty smell in the 2nd bedroom and furniture in here very tired. Note after all the above the owner will say you will not get similar in Fuengirola "for the price". I'm not so sure. I did get a small refund but as I stated to the host this in no way compensated for a spoiled holiday (the first post Covid one)

We are not used to receiving negative reviews and are sincerely sorry for our guests. However, we feel that such a negative review might have been inspired by, both: • Too high expectations about a central old Fuengirola apartment, thoroughly and accurately described on VRBO Homeaway site, which has satisfied the large majority of our guests since 2014. We regret that all the efforts we made to deal with your main issue were not considered sufficient, and • a frustration, translating into a long list of claims, a few accurate but most of them largely exaggerated* or even totally inappropriate (e.g. the 4th floor without elevator which is clearly mentioned in our apartment description), to have "only" obtained an eventual, and agreed upon, refund of 20% of the rent... instead of the 70% that was claimed for. *As a matter of example, the apartment is situated next to a convenient supermarket. During a couple of morning hours, some noise on the street may be expected from deliveries. Such “noise” could only be heard from the terrace, while the apartment remains 100% quiet.

Nous avons adoré l’endroit, l’appartement est très bien insonorisé, la localisation est parfaite. Seuls commentaires dans la cuisine, les couteaux et poêles auraient besoin d’être changés elles collent et les couteaux de coupent pas bien. Très chaud en terrasse en pm un auvent vertical aurait été apprécié. Moi avons laissé les jeux de plages achtée pour les prochains voyageurs.

Nice apartment / great location

Lovely apartment in the heart of fuengirola. Only downside is the lack of a lift (4 floors is long way up, but shorter coming down!!). Would recommend to anyone as long as the stairs aren't an issue for you. Only minor issue for us was that the roof terrace looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while before we arrived. Interior was great however, so overall not a problem. Would definately stay at this apartment again.
