Charming Casa by the picturesque Sea of Cortes

Just steps away from the Sea of Cortez, our casa in Loreto Bay is located in a friendly community where you can enjoy the charming and quaint lifestyle of Loreto. Wake up and enjoy morning yoga on the beach, spend your day kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, fishing, snorkeling, golfing, and scuba diving, or simply sip on margaritas by the pool or in the casa’s private patio with a good book. Dine in town at some authentic, family-owned restaurants that offer the taste of Baja and explore the shopping and historic mission in the city.

The casa has two bedrooms, both with king-sized beds and sleeps 6 comfortably with the sleeper sofa. There are two full bathrooms. The bedrooms and living room all have air conditioning units with remotes. There is an open living space which is next to the kitchen so you can cook and entertain at the same time. French doors open up the dining area so that you can let the breeze flow in while you relax indoors. The kitchen includes all necessary dining and silverware as well as a coffee maker, dishwasher, refrigerator, a sink, and oven. There is also a washer and dryer located in the house.

There is a BBQ in the upstairs patio area as well as an upstairs deck area covered with shade where you can sit and watch the sunrise or sunset over the mountains.

Our property manager is very accommodating and can book tours to offshore Coronado Island where you are almost certain to see dolphins and sea lions and can lounge at the island for the day and snorkel or lay by the crystal clear water.

The beach and 3 different pools are all walking distance from the casa and you can walk right down the street to the local wine bar for a night cap. There is also a local coffee shop to get sandwiches and a coffee pick-me-up during the day. Also located walking distance is a mini market to buy any essentials.
The casa includes wifi connectivity.

The airport is called Loreto International Airport (LTO) and is about a 8 minute drive to the house. You can either take a taxi from the airport or rent a car during your stay. The house is about a 10-12 minute drive to the town of Loreto where there are many restaurants, the beach, shops, the Mission, and scenic areas to walk around.

Beautiful Home

The home is beautiful. Very impressed with the cleanliness. Beds are comfortable and great location. Short walking distance to the best pool in the neighborhood. We had an amazing time and I would book this property again when we go back to Loreto.

Beds were very comfortable…kitchen well appointed….location near road, pool and wine bar very good for getting around and delivering groceries. We didn’t really ever figure out how to watch TV.

Wonderful property

Our family of three traveled to Loreto and stayed for one week. Immediately after making the reservation the owner reached out to ask about how they could assist in planning our trip. The week before the trip we received further communications including texts for any last minute questions or concerns. The property is in good condition and had more than we expected (beach towels, hair dryers, well stocked kitchen for cooking). We rented a car and parking was ample and easy. The house is very close to the pool. My only advice is to be aware of the floor plan. Many of these houses are two bedrooms with the entrance to the upstairs bedroom accessed from the courtyard. The layout is perfect for fsmilies with older children or two couples traveling together. If you have very young children the layout may prove challenging. Our trip was wonderful! Thank you Joann.

Nice villa but a little worn

This was our 5th time renting a villa in Loreto Bay Nopolo. First will start with the bad. When arrived the tile floors where filthy; rugs, beach towels, and bedding needed to be washed; was given only hotel size soaps, shampoo & conditioner and no laundry detergent. BBQ was filthy plus scraper was melted on grill. Never did get a replacement BBQ brush. Given only 1/2 large bottle of water and no water stand for drinking water. While there, the fridge had to fixed and dishwasher had to be replaced so had to wash dishes for 2 weeks if our stay. Now for the good. The villa is nicely furnished. There are plenty of bedding, towels, kitchen utensils, dishes, glasses, pots & pans. Very close to community pool, beach, golf course, and restaurants. The owner was very responsive to our concerns.

Casa Needs a Little Love

Great location, close to pool, beach and village restaurants. We stayed for two months in this unit and, overall, it was a nice stay. We were surprised there was only one lounge chair for all of us to use. It would have been a nice addition to the rooftop terrace to have at least one more for a party of 4 for overall comfort. The mattresses need to be replaced as they are soft with multiple dips in them. The linens are newer and of good quality. The dim lighting in the kitchen was difficult for food preparation, maybe brighter LED type bulbs would help. We were also surprised at the lack of supplies or “starter pack “ for our arrival. We have stayed in multiple VRBO’s over the years and expected shampoos, soaps, etc. That may not be the ‘norm’ for the area but we weren’t prepared for it. Both the owner and the property manager were responsive to our needs. We loved the sustainable concept of Loreto Bay and meeting the neighbors who embrace it. We will definitely return to the area and have already booked our stay for next year

Nopolo is Great

Second time staying in Nopolo at Loreto Bay and it is simply great. The beach, Sea of Cortez, mountains, architecture and vibe should not be missed!

Great Stay in Loreto Bay

Wonderful spot for two couples! Lots of privacy, close to Community Pool, Wine Cellar, La Sirena Baja Cafe, and beach. Lovely view of the mountains from the viewing tower, morning, noon, and night! Loreto is a very special place and this home is a comfortable one to view it from!

The online pictures made the casa seem bigger than in actuality so I was somewhat disappointed when we arrived. I appreciated the outdoor living space on the second level but the some of the cushions could use upgrading. However our most significant disappointment were the beds. Both were way too soft for comfortable sleeping and backaches were common during our stay. If the beds were replaced I would definitely return to FN422

❤️ this place

We’ve stayed in this community before but not this house. This house was perfect. We are a family of four & the size was great. The kitchen had everything we needed. Also, the outdoor patios are lovely. *Note- if you have young kids, the layout might not be ideal. There is 1 BD/1BA downstairs. There is also 1BD/1BA upstairs but completely separate from the house. **Note- if you are 2 families & want some space/privacy, the separateness could be ideal. The area- we love it. It’s south of Loreto, called Nopolo. It’s a community of colorful homes that seem to be mostly owned by Americans & Canadians. A 3 minute walk takes you to the bay. There are kayak & SUP rentals. The snorkeling was nice. At this time of year (November), I’d recommend a spring wetsuit. The water is not cold but a short wetsuit will make snorkeling a more pleasant experience. With that said, if you stay here & don’t venture out, you will not experience Mexican culture. With a car, Loreto is about 10 minutes away. There you can experience Mexico. Overall, this place is easily 5/5! And, JoAnn was responsive by email though we didn’t have any problems. Can’t wait to get back. 👍😊
