L'Isle sur la Sorgue, between Luberon, Mont Ventoux, and Alpilles is a wonderful Provençal tourist village located 20 km from Avignon and 6 km from the mysterious Fontaine de Vaucluse. This island city and its numerous river canals gives it the nickname “Comtadine Venice”. The city is also renowned for its water wheels, its market, its antique dealers, its second-hand dealers, its art galleries, its fishermen in Nego-Chin. The villa is completely privatized and the swimming pool is at the exclusive disposal of tenants. Originally from Isle sur la Sorgue, the owner could direct you to addresses, places to visit and answer all your questions. He may occasionally and discreetly spend the day in an outbuilding located at the back of the property to check the filtration of the swimming pool and the quality of the water, water the shrubs if necessary, and feed the fish.
