Wonderful apartment, wonderful setting

The first thing that attracted us to this apartment was obviously the setting and that did not disappoint at all. Saint Gervais is a great little town with plenty going on in the summer and fantastic transport links to both the Chamonix valley, more local peaks through the free buses and further afield through trains and buses. As a family of 5 with the youngest being 6 we decided to give a car free holiday a go and it could not have been easier thanks to the location of this place. Once the new cable cars open up it'll be even better! As for the apartment we loved it as well! We chose this one specifically because the kitchen looked good for a self catering stay and again it didn't disappoint. We've had many under equipped places in the past but this had everything we needed. The bedrooms were a great size for us as a family of 5 and the living space whilst not huge, suited us just fine. The pool was a great addition particularly after a hot day walking or on a day when the kids just needed to chill out. Overall we couldn't fault our stay here and had a fantastic time!

Lovely apartment, well equipped had everything you needed. We really enjoyed our stay. Only issue is the Location not as shown on VRBO map. Chalet is located 10-15 minutes from the St Gervais Gondola via end of the red run down from Bettex. It is quite a steep walk and can be muddy and/ icy. There is no proper footpath or steps. St Gervais is a 20 to 25 minute walk. Apartment is only accessible via steps Up from ground floor, no lift. There are no shops in Easy walking distance. After a days skiing and the walk up the hill you don’t really want to walk into town for a meal. We had planned to stay in and relax so less an issue.

Agréable séjour au ski

La situation de l'appartement est excellente pour atteindre les pistes mais pas ski aux pieds, la télécabine de St Gervais est accessible en bas, la remontée à pieds est ardue! La piste qui borde la résidence n'était malheureusement pas enneigée quand nous y avons séjourné. L'appartement offre tout le confort et il est très accueillant.

Superbe séjour estival

Appartement très fonctionnel et très bien entretenu (superbe cuisine équipée) avec superbe vue sur St Gervais et le massif du Mont-Blanc. Le garage en sous-sol et la piscine sont un plus très appréciable surtout par forte chaleur. Une belle adresse à recommander tant pour un séjour en été qu’en hiver (piste accessible depuis la résidence pour accéder aux remontées mécaniques).

Appartement parfait pour une famille

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans l'appartement de Laurent, très bien aménagé et très bien équipé (je le souligne car la cuisine est parfaite si vous aimez cuisiner !). La situation du chalet permet d'accéder facilement à la télécabine pour aller randonner (ou skier en hiver), et la piscine est un vrai plus avec les enfants.

Très belle semaine de ski

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine de ski grâce à une météo idéale. Laurence nous a bien accueillis, même en avance par rapport à l'heure officielle. La résidence est très bien placée et permet un départ ski aux pieds, ce qui est assez rare sur St Gervais. Le logement est fonctionnel et propre. Le balcon un plus. Nous avons été déçus sur un seul point : l'appartement ne possède pas de Wifi contrairement à ce qui est indiqué dans l'annonce. Il aurait fallu se rendre à l'accueil de la résidence pour espérer capter une connexion ou à l'office du tourisme, sans garantie que cela marche. Pas si grave pour une semaine de congés, mais l'appartement ne prête donc pas au télétravail, et s'est bien de le savoir.

Emplacement avec accès direct à la piste

A 15' à pieds du centre ville (commerce, patinoire), à 5' du télécabine St Gervais Bettex via la poste de ski au pied de la résidence, nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Refait à neuf et bien équipé, l'appartement est très fonctionnel. Avec en prime, la vue sur st Gervais et les montagnes qui s'illuminent le matin au lever du soleil et le Mont Blanc qui profitera du couché de soleil. A refaire

Appartement très fonctionnel avec une vue superbe et une terrasse très agréable ! Parfait pour venir en famille ou entre amis, environnement calme proche du centre ville. Nous avons bien profité de la station pour skier mais aussi découvrir les alentours, nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli partout ! On pense déjà revenir !

Très bon week end en famille. Le logement est très joli et très spacieux. Il ne manque rien. La litterie est de très bonne qualité ! La cuisine est toute équipée. Et des jeux de société sont a dispo pour animer nos soirées. Le propriétaire est attentif à nos besoins et se rend disponible pour renseignements. La résidence est calme et la piscine pour l'été est un vrai plus. Proche du centre ville où se trouvent de belles boutiques artisanales et de bons restaurants. Le domaine de ski est top et pour tous niveaux !! Pour resumer: je recommande ce séjour. 😊

Week-end à saint Gervais avec vue

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour de 2 nuits dans l’appartement fonctionnel et agréable, bien situé avec accès à pied simple à Saint Gervais et vue sur la montagne et le village. L’accueil par la concierge et le contact avec Mr Michalon (le propriétaire) se sont très bien passés, disponibles et arrangeants pour notre arrivée et départ. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans ce logement.

SEJOUR JUILLET 2012

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à St Gervais. Le temps a été en notre faveur les 2 semaines, Nous avons donc bien pu profiter de la piscine, des cours de tennis au Bettex, de la base de loisirs des Contamines et de très belles randonnées. Nous avons constaté que St Gervais a changé, les panneaux d’affichage dans le village en témoignent et permettent de voir tous les travaux de rénovation qui ont été réalisés depuis une dizaine d’année. Le village est très agréable. Nous avons été tout à fait satisfaits du logement, nous nous y sommes très bien sentis, la vue est très belle de la terrasse et nous n’avons pas manqué de prendre un maximum de petits déjeuners er déjeuners dessus. Nous espérons que vous profitez à votre tour de ces moments de détente. Nous vous souhaitons de bonnes vacances Nicole et Thierry

Tres bon séjour à St Gervais

Bonjour, Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Saint Gervais et avons apprécié de nous retrouver en famille avec nos enfants qui habitent en Haute Savoie et en Suisse le temps d'un week-end. Votre appartement est très agréable et très bien situé. Nous avons également apprécié l'accueil et la disponibilité de votre correspondante sur place. Nous retournons à Saint Nicolas de Véroce du 3 au 10 Mars. Peut-être, si vous êtes à saint Gervais à cette époque aurons-nous le plaisir de faire votre connaissance Bien cordialement
