House was a great place for a small reunion of high school friends. Plenty of space and we especially liked the large main living room and screened porch areas. Property owner was very good with communications and overall it was a great experience

The property was everything we hoped for. We were not expecting the steps down to the beach. It was a bit having three small children to get to the beach but once there everyone ha d a great time.Thanks Johnhad a wonderful time.

Fabulous property with plenty of room for families to have their own space and also areas for dining together and making cherished memories. The Lake area was fantastic and we got in our daily steps on the stairs going down to the beach. The neighbor was great and showed our granddaughter how to feed the ducks that come in for feedings. The lower beach house was an absolute plus for us to use the bathroom and store our floats and beach needs for the night. The enclosed porches were perfect for playing games, watching the rain and beautiful sun rises. My family had a wonderful time! Thank you to our host John and to Michael who met us upon arrival to go over the property with us.

Lovely lakefront location; Keuka’s water and temp were perfect. Main house is up near road, 40 steps down to lakeside (good workout coming back up), where there is a large flat grassy area to sit, sleep, sun, swim and stage all water activities. More cottage and camp-like than polished and elegant, which was perfectly fine with us. Exceptional and delightful “total package.” Great/prompt communication with owner, property manager and cleaning folks..

We stayed with our sons and grandchildren for two weeks. The best part of the property is thr lower lawn area by the water. Small beach house with toilet and kitchen with refrigerator to limit the 46 steps up to the main house. The main house was clean with comfy mattresses in the bedrooms and an outside deck and screened porch with amazing view of the lake. As another reviewer mentioned, property is cabin/camp like which did not bother us on the main level, however, the lower walkout basement had a musty smell to it which we were unable to use due to allergies. There was alot of space for all of us to spread out over 2 weeks. You will not find a better deal for this amount of space and property.

If you open the door for a while and turn on the air purifier there in the apartment, it clears the air nicely.

The place was great. We utilize the multiple living areas and my wife and I really enjoyed staying at the Little cottage downstairs by the water. The little and big kids all had a great time enjoyed swimming and fishing and just playing on the expansive landing.

Our multi generational family enjoyed our stay! The different sleeping areas and the multiple kitchens were great! The lake front was perfect. The stairs to the beach were much longer than I understood when I booked the lake house but they were very sturdy and my husband was able to go down to the lake.

Favorite Family Destination

It was our fourth year at this destination, and we have already booked next year’s vacation. The owner, John, is friendly and accommodating. The bungalow by the water is ideal, with toilet facilities, a kitchenette for storing cold drinks, and an extra bedroom for overnight guests. This year the owners added window Air conditioning units to the three bedrooms on the main level and a new, large, comfortable sofa in the living room, which was wonderful for our large crowd.

The Wanderlings at Keuka Lake

A group of six 60+ women enjoyed hiking, paddling and touring on an autumn weekend in the Finger Lakes region. This property was a most comfortable and convenient base for all activities.

Girls trip

The house was perfectly located just outside of town. Right on the lake with a nice yard and dock. The boat house was very nice to have extra drinks and a bathroom close as we hung out at the lake. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful girls trip!

Great vacation spot in the finger lakes

Lake Keuka does not get the high traffic that some of the larger finger lakes are subject to. We did easy day trips to Watkins Glen, Corning, and Canandaigua. The house was comfortable and well-equipped.

Girls Weekend

We had a lovely time at this charming lake house and John was a great host! The place was very clean, lots of extras and special touches. Amazing views from all the windows and with the good weather we took full advantage of the porches, deck and grill. Beautiful sunrises are not to be missed and look forward to visiting again!

Thanks for the heads up on the light. That's on a dimmer that may have needed adjusting or replacing. The "beach house' is rustic, but very clean and for some it is the favorite place to stay on our property - with screened in porch, charming bedroom with queen size bed, antique pictures on the wall, miniature kitchen with full size refrigerator, dishes, coffee maker and bathroom right down on the water so people don't have to climb the stairway once they are down there. It is definitely a living space. I really don't know what he's talking about.

Fall Weekend

Every fall I coordinate a ladies weekend. This year I choose to spend it in the Finger Lakes. The house was perfect! Cozy, great views and fit 7 of us! Would definitely recommend!

Great lake front

Overall our family enjoyed the property, especially the privacy of the beach front, large grassy play area for games and the convenience of having a bathroom down at the beach area. The main house was large enough for our entire family to stay comfortably. Thank you John, we all had a great time.

Family Week at Keuka

This property is great, with beautiful views from various decks and screened in porches. Two big yards for kids to run around and a great dock and fire pit! The house includes anything you would need...including spare batteries, extension cords and any kitchen appliance you could ask for. Located in a beautiful neighborhood with very friendly folks, close to Penn Yann for any groceries and dinners out, plus wineries, breweries and distilleries!!!
