We have stayed at Wintersun many times. We use the property for a corporate retreat and have spent many hours on the porch doing business planning for the following year. I cannot think of a more beautiful or more relaxing place to do this important work. The house is very special and the grounds are nothing short of breathtaking. Highly recommend.

This was our second visit to Wintersun and we are already wondering when we can return. The home and property are second to none. Just the reset we all needed with relaxation and calm nature. Judy is an awesome host and so many thoughtful touches. Such as a basket of blankets to use as we sit by the firepit after dark. Thank you!

Our stay was perfect. We enjoyed the various sitting areas inside and out. Appreciated that we could be together but have separate spaces to relax or be alone. Andreas , the chef Judy recommended for one dinner was excellent and so pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wintersun. The front porch was our favorite spot to sit by the fire pits and enjoy the sunsets and mountain view’s. The hiking trails and the labyrinth were also highlights of our stay.

My daughters wanted to come back to the castle! This place is monstrous. There’s plenty of room for everybody to relax, unwind and explore…. Including the dogs!! Bring your bug repellent if you go out on the trails though….. in warm weather there are ticks.

Amazing Inn - super cozy

Everything is so comfy at this house - great location - easy to get to Asheville and beautiful grounds to take walks and enjoy mountain life. Every state room is perfectly appointed.

Absolutely amazing place

This property was just astonishing! My wife and I have been renting through VRBO for over 10 years and this is one of the top few we have stayed at. Beautiful grounds with great hiking trails.
