Even more so, as our newly build home, available for renting since last June, had already been booked 6 times and all our guests have been delighted with their stay. Regarding the baby high chair, it had been ordered well before your arrival, but unfortunately there was a delay in delivery. And this is why Natacha, who does not speak perfect English, but certainly pretty decently, had offered to have one delivered upon your arrival. As to the champagne glasses, it is clear that one or two broken crockery items is not at all an issue. In this case, however, neither have we seen broken glasses nor have you informed us of any breakage. We just found that it was missing 3 champagne glasses. In the absence of more information, we are therefore bound to bill for the missing items listed in the inventory that was given to you on arrival. Indeed, if all tenants were leaving with 3 items at the end of their stay, the apartment would soon be empty. Therefore, in the absence of explanation or findings of breakage, we have to charge for the missing items Concerning the keys, Natacha had given you 2 sets of keys on behalf of myself. Consequently, we note that from now on, our guests will be required to sign a record prior to handing over 2 sets of keys. Although we would have preferred to avoid imposing undue formalism. This problem did not arise before with our previous guests. I finally have to say that we found the apartment in a very filthy state.
