Pros: lovely weather, pretty setting
Cons: limited kitchen/cleaning equipment, 1 toilet roll per gite per week, very limited access to a washing machine and we were told to use the fast wash setting only, uncomfortable beds, games barn filthy, swimming pool derelict but decent free standing pool available

About the host
Hosted by Andy Wright
Le Cosquer has been my home for the last 5 years and I just love the slow pace of life. We brought the beautiful property 5 years ago and I haven't stopped improving it. This year the swimming pool has been refurbished and we are constantly adding things to Le Cosquer to make your holiday enjoyable.
Why they chose this property
We brought the property after falling in love with it and seeing its potential. The local villages love the English and we have a very sociable life. There are lots of places to visit around the local area
What makes this property unique
he region is of a similar climate to Cornwall being a littler warmer. Although there are micro climates throughout Brittany and this means the weather can be as hot as Spain in some places. There are plenty of places to visit in the area including the beaches at Carnac and Binic. During the summer there are lots of festivals going on throughout the region including the festival at Bon Repos which is outstanding and is over 2 weekends in August. Just a 10 minute drive away is the Lac de Guerdelan. It is a beautiful lake which has a man made beach which is lovely for young and old. There are many activities in the local area.
