Groseko La Zurriola is a spacious and calm apartment situated in Gros, next to La Zurriola Beach and Kursaal Palace. It is only 5 minutes away from the centre. Gros is a popular neighbourhood in San Sebastian.It is famous among surfers and there are great cultural entertainment options, such as the Jazz Festival or the Film Festival.

Unbelievable location!

The main selling point of this unit is the location - no doubt about that. The unit is perfect for a family of 4 but tough with 2 couples (like us) as there is only one room with a queen bed (the other has 2 twins). Both twins were fairly uncomfortable but the other bed was nice. The unit was very clean and had all the amenities to live in. Again, the location was the selling point.

Great location and good management

We loved the location of this, right upstairs from bars and restaurants, but not street facing so you don't hear all the noise when you want to go to sleep. We were within walking distance from about everything, and the apartment is right across the street from a gym that will let you pay by day. Apartment space worked well for two adults and two teenage kids. Apartment was clean, they have a cleaning service that goes through the place prior to arrival. It was nice to have a washer, though it is really small. There is no dryer so you need to line dry clothing and it takes a long time to dry. We visited in August so it was warm. There is no AC but they do have a couple fans in the apartment that can get air moving. We would leave the windows open at night to get the air moving through which made it bearable/ok if you slept on top of the covers. Management was easy to work with and kept us informed through text messages/calls as needed when we got close to our arrival. He gave us a brief tour of the apartment, recommended local places to eat and drink, etc. Very easy to work with. We will be back in the area and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Fun vacation in San Sebastián

We had a great trip staying in Gros during the semana grande festivities. The location of this apartment is amazing. Very walkable to to the beach, parte vieja, and centro for shopping. Overall we had a great time. The only thing that needed improvement - the house wasn’t equipped with a few basic items we would have wanted for cooking. A carrot peeler, frying pan etc. also, there was no extra toilet paper, or paper towels, which we easily bought downstairs at the market. Also, the neighbors in the building were not happy having a tourist apartment. We tried to be friendly and nice to anyone we passed in the building, but several people were not nice and frustrated with the children. We tried to be polite and quiet but the neighbors didn’t like us.
