*SPECIAL OFFER* Luxurious Lakefront Resort Condo - Just Minutes From the Parks!

Thank you for your review of our condo. We appreciate that you acknowledged that the "owner was great throughout the whole process" as we strive to make your stay perfect! Reviews of past guests are very helpful for our future potential guests and your comments therefore, require some important points of consideration... 1st, as owners we made you aware of the fact that Westgate properties all represent an element of timeshare which is optional for you to choose to take part in. For our guests, we instruct the front desk... "no timeshare solicitation." In reality, in Orlando most resort properties are similar, including Disney properties, where timeshare also is solicited. 2nd, the period of time of your stay was during the July 4th holiday week. Yes, the properties in Orlando are going to be VERY busy! 3rd, you messaged me the morning of check-in saying that you would be arriving early to Orlando, requesting an early check-in. I promptly replied... that Saturday is a busy turn-over-day for resort guests and an early check-in was at the jurisdiction of the front desk, based on if housekeeping had the unit ready. I suggested that you request this at the front desk upon arrival, but unfortunately, it was not within my control. I expressed my hope that it would work out for you and your family. Your comments, that "the condo was not like the pictures as far as décor", was confusing to us... so I called the property to check on your reservation that I established for your stay in our condo. What I learned was that you did ask for an early check-in, approximately 3-hours in advance of the normal check-in time that we post on our property listing. You were told that the unit was not available but if you preferred, the resort would relocate you to a different area of the property where a unit was ready. You chose to accept this offer. Unfortunately, you accepted to stay in an older unit that has not been updated with new furnishings, granite counters, stainless steel appliances etc... You also accepted a location some distance from the "prime" location that we own on the lake. So yes, the décor was different! Ultimately, it was your decision to check-in early in a different location and the resort cannot be faulted for trying to accommodate your wishes. Someone else ended up in the unit you would have had, more central to all the resort amenities including the décor exactly as our pictures represent. Thanks again, for being our guests!
