Great place to stay. Ron and Mo are amazing hosts.
Couldn't have imagined having a better time at a better location. They have everything you need and beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be back.
We had such a great time. Property was awesome and very well stocked. Host was very friendly and outgoing. We will definitely be back. We are hoping to plan this get together every year. Do yourself a favor and check out ghost hollow lodge.
Property is a lodge with many many mounted animals and birds. Very interesting. Very rural. Plenty of beds for our group. We are a group of women (family and friends) who meet yearly since 1992. Code needed to enter building (safety for us). Wi-fi was fair to good. We did 2 meals in the lodge. Check out is early at 9am. Very clean.
It was beautiful and peaceful. The only "problem" I had was the gps kept sending everyone up a dirt road hill. So be mindful there is a different way if your gps sends you up a dirt hill.
We recently enjoyed a long weekend at Ghost Hollow Lodge with multiple families and cousins. The property is very nice and very clean. It was well appointed with everything we needed. We were very surprised when we arrived that the prior owners stay there in a room off the kitchen and their son runs an outfitting business out of the connected shop area. It did not deter us from having a wonderful time though! Everyone was very nice and was certainly giving us space and privacy. During one of the last days of our stay a hunter was using a shower and came through the house from the bedroom area. All six of our kids were napping there and that did not sit well with parents - just not having a secured door to the shop area or not knowing who was in there at certain times. Again, that part was not a hit, but the rest of the trip certainly was! Jon was very easy to communicate with. We would probably consider returning in the future as we have family nearby. Next time, I would ask Jon about who we can expect to be on the property during the stay so we can go into it with expectations set. We appreciated the accommodations and hope others enjoy too!
This was great for our work crew of 6, more than enough room. We got down & dirty on a fishing trip and were able to wash all of our clothes quickly in the 3 washers. So peaceful, great to watch the hummingbirds, wild turkeys, and deer frolic on the property. The fireflies glitter up the meadows at night. Absolutely stunning and unique. Highly recommend! Mo and her husband and family are very nice people as well, great chatting over coffee :)
NOTE: This is a shared space unless you request your need for privacy. This was not clear from the VRBO page, but the owner is more than happy to accommodate your needs if you reach out.
Property was wonderful, hummingbirds & turkey were fun to watch. Very clean, great kitchen set-up and amenities, communication with owners was prompt and helpful. We were in town for a wedding at Site M and this was so convenient. Ron & Mo were super nice, thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them and our stay!
Great, peaceful, and unique spot for those who love the outdoors and wildlife. There was lots of space outside and the lodge was awesome on the inside. The lodge is out in the country with not much else around. The kitchen and living room are very spacious and the owners stay at the property while you are there, but they are in a room on their own. We didn't see them much at all after we arrived. Great people! My only complaint about the VRBO was that there were spiders in the bedrooms! I think they need an exterminator because there were spiders in the corners of multiple rooms. Otherwise an awesome location!
We absolutely loved the cleanliness of the property, the peaceful location, and wow, the hummingbirds!
First impression you'll of course notice all the mounted game that has been hunted- they made for great photo ops. After that though, the kitchen is spacious as well as the rest of the home. 4 bedrooms with several beds in each room and 3 full bathrooms made for ease of use during our girls' trip. We enjoyed a quick trip over to a nearby winery but otherwise remained on the property and were fully satisfied. We had planned to hike more but the multitude of hummingbirds and a super inviting front porch kept us pretty well planted for the weekend- so incredibly relaxing! We would all readily return for round two!
We had a great time at the cabin. We had around 20 people in the cabin for a late Christmas celebration and had plenty of room. Owners are very nice to work with and so was Lori, the property manager when owners are away.
Grounds are beautiful too, we took family pictures by the old truck, fence and front porch.
We had seven adults and six kids here and it was a really nice space! With four bedrooms (each with 5 single beds) we had plenty of room. The kitchen has every kind of utensil you could need. Sometimes it was hard to find counter space and there is not a lot of fridge space, but it worked out.
The caretaker was on site for one of our two nights, which was unexpected. She was kind and helpful but it was a different experience than anticipated when she came into the kitchen during breakfast.
The property is beautiful and easy to find. We would stay here again.

Lovely people
Maureen and Ron are so kind and hospitable. The variety of kitchen equipment is amazing. I cooked several dinners in the kitchen, and there was anything I could have wanted, including good cast iron skillets. Beds were comfortable, sheets and towels were very nice. Dishwasher, washer, and dryer were very convenient. Thanks so much for providing a home away from home while we visited family.
