LAS MASIAS DE MATEO - a brilliant vacation home with unique 360-degree view over the beautiful Catalan countryside!
In Central Catalonia, on a hilltop, the three newly restored holiday homes, Las Casas de Mateo, has just been opened for guests, a combination of the three neighbor houses CAN DE MATEO - PORXO, MASOVERIA DE MATEO & LA MAS DE MATEO. The house has room for 46 + 7 guests in the three houses and the grand attraction is the unique location. In LAS MASIAS DE MATEO you have the opportunity to enjoy a 360 degree view of the Catalonian countryside, framed by the Pre-Pyrenees rising in the background. We represent many holiday homes in this region, all with stunning views, but Las Masias de Mateo beats almost everything in this regard.

You reach the house from the main road to via a small dirt road (3.5 km / about 15 minutes) which is the price one pays for the unique location. Once up there, you enter a true paradise with a private swimmingpool. LAS MASIAS DE MATEO has almost park-like grounds of over 10,000 m2, and the area is very beautiful and peaceful.

In addition to the unique view the house owners have built a football and volleyball court as well as a swimming pool, where you can lie and recharge while enjoying the surroundings. There is also an activity room with billiards, table tennis and darts and you will also find a Petanque lane and a really good Wi-Fi. With all these activities you will probably not need to have many reasons for searching for activities in the area? The house has also applied for the coveted European ECO-Label as the house uses solar energy and also plans to construct biomass.

LAS MASIAS DE MATEO has been carefully restored in unerring style so that it appears super delicious and has all modern facilities. There has been put a lot of deliberation into the location of the rooms so that everything is convenient, thus ensuring a good setting for a very good holiday.

CAN DE MATEO - PORXO (5 bedrooms):
On the ground floor of the house, you enter a beautiful hall. To the left of the hall is the modern kitchen with freezer, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, dishwasher, espresso machine and even a draft beer tap. The kitchen has direct access to the large common room which has a beautiful Catalan refectory table (if you should want to eat in the shade for a day or two) and a cozy living room. From the common room's sliding doors you have direct access to the stone-paved terrace. The BBQ of the house is a bit further down in the garden. If you turn right from the kitchen you’ll meet the activity room, which probably will be the frame of some good hours, also for children in the group. Here are billiards, table tennis and darts.

To the right of the hallway are four of the five beautiful bedrooms in Can de Mateo. The four bedrooms are all doubles, three of which have bath ensuite. One of the rooms has direct access to the terrace. This floor also contains a further bathroom which is shared with the last bedroom on the top floor of the house.

On the top floor is a cosy lounge area, which is situated next to the triple room, which has three single beds. The room is ideal as a children's room and the small lounge will be excellent for use as a cosy corner for children in the evening.

MASOVERIA DE MATEO (6 bedrooms):
On the ground floor there is a porch located in front of the pool and with spectacular views of the mountains. From here, you can go into the dining room, which has views of the garden through the large windows.

Connected to the dining room is the open kitchen with natural oak wood furniture, fully equipped with 2 fridges and 2 freezers, oven, microwave, gas hob, dishwasher, coffee machine and in the same room there is a relaxation area with comfortable sofas. On this floor there is also a small toilet with toilet and sink.

On the upper floor, there are 6 great, modern bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms. Each room has a sofa bed, which allows them to become triple or quadruple according to the needs.

LA MAS DE MATEO (8 bedrooms):

A spectacular house, full of details from the original construction, framed in wooden furniture and warm fabrics.

From the outdoor terrace, with a barbecue, a space to eat and loungers to relax, we enter directly into the Mas's large dining room. This acts as the heart of the house, connecting the two small living rooms on the ground floor with the large kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with 2 gas hobs, 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators with freezer, oven, microwave and coffee maker, as well as a small breakfast table.

On the first floor you'll find 6 large double rooms with views of the nature, all with private bathrooms. On the second floor we find 2 more double rooms, and 2 quadruple rooms (with two single beds and a double bed, separated by a door). These also have all exterior windows and a private full bathroom.



LAS MASIAS DE MATEO is a great choice of holiday house with many great activities, a high standard and a quite unique view. The only drawback is the 3.5 km. on the dirt road, but we are sure that it is certainly worth the price and you will probably not want to move much about when you live here.
