Fabulous Villa for Friends

We stayed in November 2021 for 2 weeks and had a lovely time, the villa was clean, and the couple of niggles we had were sorted immediately. Villa is close walk to the beach and easy driving access to Old Paphos for fabulous restaurants

Great house, great location

I traveled here with my wife and son (9) in April 2019 - what attracted me to this property was central location (it's only a short walk into Coral Bay), but also the combination of Hot Tub, Heated Pool, Pool Table and Games Console meant we could all lounge around and spend time together in and around the house. April is really just around the start of the season so the evenings can be a little cool, but the house had heaters and air-conditioning so it wasn't a problem. We found the house to be clean, the staff to be welcoming, informative and friendly. I'd recommend hiring a car, there's a gated-driveway to the property and it gives you a lot of freedom to explore the island. We enjoyed our stay here and would consider going back again.

Preis-Leistung passt bei dem Haus nicht. Viel zu teure Zwischenreinigung- für 30 min. Reinigung ( auch wenn es 4 Personen waren) Keine regelmäßige Poolreinigung. Sauberkeit kam insgesamt zu kurz. Bilder von den Bädern fehlen im Inserat- jetzt wissen wir warum- diese sind sehr klein und nicht zeitgemäß. WLAN nicht in allen Zimmern im Obergeschoss verfügbar.

Winter break

Despite the very wet weather we had a lovely stay at this villa over new year. Spotless with excellent facilities and even with the cold from the rain the heated pool and hot tub worked a treat. Good location only 5 mins walk from the Main Street of bars, shops and restaurants. Many were shut for winter but there was still a good choice. The beach is a 5 min drive away or probably a 25min walk. The only niggle was the power cut out most days and had to be reset by going to the fuse box outside. Would definitely come back again in the spring/summer months.

Modern villa. Fantastic location

Lovely modern villa. Excellent location, could walk to everything. The rooftop terrace with lovely sea views is perfect for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

Perfect accommodation for a family break

Accommodation is perfect for a family vacation. Everything you could need and more is provided. The property is clean and well maintained, and the customer service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for the team. Location is great, with good restaurants close by and easy to reach . strongly recommended

Fantastic villa in a great location

"We had an excellent time staying at our villa - it's just a shame our trip was so short! From making an enquiry through to the standard of the villa it was all great! The little touches like providing towels, tea/coffee and cleaning products made our stay great! Angie (host) was very helpful with providing information on the villa and surrounding area. The villa was very clean and well equipped. They really have thought of everything! Great location too! Walking distance to the 'Coral Bay strip' with restaurants and bars and easy access to the main bus for exploring! Definitely would stay here (or in one of their other villa's) again (and I'm really fussy!!)."

Lovely Villa managed by a Customer focussed Company

Spent a week at the fantastic Villa Anchora in October, we rented as a couple but ideally suited for a family. Hired a car from Paphos and as advised Google Maps provided accurate guidance to the Villa which is set back from the main run of Coral Bay in a quiet area. It's about a 5 minute walk from the main strip. The pictures and details provided on the Villa are very accurate, it's very well presented, extremely comfortable and all round a great place to wind away the hours. The staff responsible for the running of this business were clearly focussed on making our stay a great one, from the initial instructions, communication, Villa introduction to anything else that came up, responses were very quick. Great Supermarket and facilities nearby which made eating in great, really didn't lack anything. We took the opportunity to buy the hot tub add on, which in hindsight was a lot of money for the use we managed to get out of it, it was another great feature though. The entertainment available through the TV service was pretty much identical to UK satellite from general entertainment right through to sports, handy on a night in (and an F1 weekend!). Would advise the hire of a car, not just for transfer but to shuttle to and from the Supermarket and the local beaches to mix it up a bit with the pool. The pool isn't heated which made for some interesting entry techniques, would imagine no problem in the height of Summer but the autumn nights steal any heat built in the day. That minor point shouldn't take away from a fantastic property, experience and team, my thanks to them for a great break, we'll certainly return one day.

Amazing holiday in an amazing villa! Loved it!

I do not usually leave reviews but just feel I have to write something about our stay in Paphos with Cyprus Villa Retreats. We loved Villa Anchora. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. From the pool up to the terrace from the living room and kitchen, and then the rooftop balcony with sea views, there was nothing that wasn’t excellent about this place. So nicely decorated and finished. Not like your usual tired and overused holiday villa. I’m guessing it was brand new. And the staff, yes staff, were lovely too. Wanted to invite them round tbh. So thank you all for a lovely holiday.
