The house was very clean and clearly Updated. Such a cozy beautiful place with plenty of room for our family. I loved that the master bed was up on the main living area. We had a great stay while visiting for a wedding. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying here with our friends. The best part was the fireplace after a cold day outside at the resort. This property has one of the best stocked kitchens although they could use a few more coffee mugs.

Wintergreen trip

We had a great stay. Kitchen was well stocked - best we have experienced on vacation. Hosts were quick to respond to our questions. Beds were very comfortable. We would stay here again when in the area.

Very Comfortable Cabin!

We loved staying here. It was wonderful. It had everything you could need from pots and pans to firewood. We loved the proximity to the slopes. It’s a beautiful place!

Nice quick trip

We had a very nice time on a quick trip. House was clean with easy check in and check out process. Easy access to skiing with short drive to slopes. Enjoyed the nice wood burning fireplace.

Perfect, cozy get away!

We really enjoyed our time at the Wintergreen house! We all loved the open flow design of the den, dining area, and kitchen. Awesome couch set up with fireplace and TV. Comfortable beds. Great location and quiet privacy.

Wedding weekend

The house was very comfortable and had wonderful porches off all bedrooms..a beautiful setting!.. the owner was very responsive to any questions and accommodating during our planning as we stayed the weekend for our daughters wedding at a local venue.

Great time!!!!!

Eight of us stayed at the house. We went to the Wine and Garlic Festival in Amherst. Enjoyed the Festival and the house. There was plenty of room for us all and was very relaxing. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Exactly as it looked

My family and I were visiting Shenandoah National Park, Charlottesville and Richmond. This cabin was a great location and was exactly as pictured on the website. The kitchen was extremely user friendly and an easy area to work for two cooks. Loved the master bedroom separate from the kids area. Had a good time, would book again if in the area.

Lovely cabin and great host!

The cabin was very comfortable and was equipped with all we needed. The king bed was the most comfortable one I've encountered at a cabin. The host was responsive and extremely accommodating. We had to reschedule our stay because we got COVID, and the host happily worked with us on this. We greatly appreciate this!

Just wrapped up a fantastic 3-night stay with my husband and our two dogs—this place is a total gem! Spacious, spotless, and truly pet-welcoming with minimal stairs. We loved the king bed (so comfy!), the deck access from every bedroom, and cozy fireplace for our chilly nights. You can tell the owners really care for this place, and it shows in every detail—from the decor and furnishings to the well-stocked kitchen. Also, the location within Wintergreen Resort is ideal. KC, our host, was super responsive and a real pleasure to rent from. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better place or host. Already planning our return!

Wintergreen Family Excursion

Karen and Matt were great hosts and very responsive to our needs. The house was clean with four sizable bedrooms and a big family room/dining room/kitchen area to accommodate a large family. Beautiful wooded lot, very quiet and ideally located to the Wintergreen lodge, fitness center and pool. We highly recommend Karen and Matt’s house for your next Wintergreen excursion.

Cozy mountain retreat

This was a nice house for a family getaway (2 parents, 2 teens, 1 grandma. Everyone had their own space, but room to gather as well. The cozy fireplace was the highlight (note: you have to bring your own firewood). We spent Thanksgiving at the house and there were plenty of pots and pans and tableware (again note: the kitchen did not have any cooking basics - foil, oil, spices, cooking spray etc)

Great Wintergreen Property

This house was wonderful for a girls weekend. Plenty of space, not far from activities. We would definitely come back. The owners were very accommodating and flexible. The one thing that was tough was the steep gravel driveway. We had a few times were our cars spun out and it would difficult to get up.

I'm so glad you had a good time! Coincidental timing of mentioning the driveway b/c work started just this past Monday to re-route the driveway across our adjacent lot of land so that the slope isn't so steep. Problem solved for your next visit!!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Property was nicely positioned with ample parking. Listing is as described and was lovely on the inside. Much bigger than anticipated. Located right on the Wintergreen Resort grounds with shopping, restaurants, grocery markets and activities to do with the whole family. We normally have stayed in the condos when we visit, but absolutely loved this experience of having the whole house to ourselves. We received all instructions for pre and post checkout. We will be adding this home to our list of visiting again!!!
