We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful home in Wintergreen. The house is nicely decorated and in a beautiful location. We visited for a ski weekend and really enjoyed being able to ski-in and ski-out of this location. The separate living spaces were an added bonus as we were a larger group, these separate spaces gave everyone space to spread out.We would definitely stay again.
Front windows were so drafty. Whatever heat we had just went right out the front windows. Heater in the second floor bedroom made a clanking noise making sleep difficult.
We really enjoyed our stay at the home. We were there for a family ski/snowboard weekend at the end of February, and the house is only a few steps away from the Tyro slope. The lower level is great for gear storage after a fun day on the slopes and you can actually do night skiing and walk from the last lighted area on the Tyro slope to the house with no problems at all. There is even locked storage outside which is appreciated. The house is nicely decorated and the rooms are comfortable. There are individual temperature controls in all rooms and small floor fans as well. The kitchen is well stocked and very functional if you want to cook. As a few other reviews have mentioned there are stairs, but it's a house in the mountains on a ski slope. The main level access and overall steps are not a problem unless you have mobility issues. The bathrooms are a bit snug, but they are clean, the hot water is spot on, the water pressure is great, and they are nicely updated. Overall, it was a great long weekend at the home and we would definitely stay again.
My family and I enjoyed our weekend at this house, which was very spacious and comfortable for the four of us (two adults and two kids). The location is great- close to the resort, fun hiking trails, and breweries/cideries.
Home was very welcoming and accurate to listing. Kitchen is stocked with utensils and cookware. Bring your own towels if you like more than one per person.

Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
The property was clean, nicely decorated, well-maintained and the owners were communicative and accesisible. It was a great stay.
We had a great stay for a girls trip. The hosts were very quick to respond and the location was great. Our only struggle was finding the twin bed…it’s a trundle!
We loved the personal touches and the host's sense of whimsy. This sweet mountain home was the perfect getaway for a few ladies taking a break from mid-life crises. We loved the book selection in the den's library, the fresh May air coming through the sliding doors off the decks, the copious ferns and the blooming rhododendrons in the yard. If possible, I'd love to stay here again for an arts retreat with fellow creatives.
This was our second stay here, and, again, it was the perfect house with the perfect location. The weather wasn't all that great for skiing, but luckily it had been the weeks leading up to our stay so there was plenty of skiing to be done. The house has all of the amenities you can think of. It is well stocked and comfortable.
Hi Sarah, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
"We're glad you liked the location and cleanliness of our home. Our aim is always to provide a five-star experience so if there's any information you can provide on what could have improved during your stay, and why you gave it three out of five stars, it will help us ensure a better experience for future guests. Thanks!"
This home was perfect for our stay. Even though snow wasn't covering the ground, you have a quick walk right to the slopes. The location makes it perfect to run back to the house for lunch and other meals. The kitchen was well stocked and the rooms were very comfortable. We would definitely come back to stay here again.
Treeloft was the perfect location for our annual youth ski trip. We found the house very clean and well laid-out for three 18 year old's and two adult chaperones. The convenience of the ski-in/ski-out even exceeded our expectations. We would look forward to renting in the future.
We had a great stay at this house. It felt like we were staying in a 5 start hotel (plush towels, blankets, linens, etc.) but in a private home. The scenery is beautiful even though our weekend was a little overcast. I would definitely recommend to anyone and the house was the perfect size for a family of 5 with 3 kids.
