Bandita - Country House Rental in Valdichiana, Tuscany

Old renovated farmhouse with swimming pool, perfectly set at the egde of a green hill, just a few minutes drive away from Cortona. The house is divided into 5 stylish indipendent apartments.
All the apartments have been carefully restored by the owners, Romina and Roberta, are fully air-conditioned for additional comfort, have wi-fi internet and are provided with a private outdoor area for unforgettable al-fresco dining while admiring the views of the gentle hills and vineyards (a barbeque is also available).
Outside, the large gardens are equipped with a generously sized swimming pool (12m x 6m) with sunbeds and shades: a perfect place for relaxing under the Tuscan sun or for a nice refreshing swim.
The property, thanks to its spacious interiors and its large exteriors, guarantees a pleasure and safe stay. All the areas, including the swimming pool, are carefully sanitized and sterilized for the health and tranquility of guests.

At guests’ disposal: large garden with swimming-pool (12 x 6 m – depth 1,4 m – open from 15/04 to 15/10), air conditioning, WI-FI internet connection (free of charge), shared coin laundry, parking within the grounds.

Great location to visit Cortona, Montepulciano. The appartement is clean and well maintained with all the necessary. We cooked our breakfasts and a few meals. It was great to swim almost everything day in early October. Very quiet. Romina and Andrea are very kind.

Vicina a Montepulciano e Val d'Orcia, consiglio di venire a passare dei giorni di relax in questo luogo. La signora persona molto gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi cosa ci occorresse. Super schön und abgelegen

Das Haus ist auf einem der vielen toskanischen Hügel und man ist sehr für sich. Mit kleinen Kindern haben wir unseren ruhigen Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und man hat viel Stauraum in den Kommoden und Schränken. Die Küche könnte ein bisschen besser ausgestattet sein. Wenn man länger da ist und mehr vor Ort kocht empfiehlt es sich ein bisschen Haushalts inventar mitzubringen (scharfes Messer, Schere, Küchentücher etc.). Mit etwas Einfallsreichtum lässt es sich aber trotzdem alles irgendwie auch ohne diese Dinge arrangieren. ;) es war richtig schön und wir würden bestimmt wieder kommen.

It was our second time in Podere Romina. We had a wonderful time. The estate is still super! It is clean, nicely orientated. Two suggestions : remove the bees webs from under the roof above la bandita and place mosquito things in the window. Other than that : super place, super people, we love it!

This villa is perfect for your Tuscany vacation! The pool was amazing, and for the majority of our stay we were the only ones using it; it was definitely the highlight of the trip! You have amazing views from everywhere on the property, and can go on a short walk through some vineyards for even better views. We were also in a great location for wine tastings, cooking classes, and just exploring Tuscany. The only downside was that our AC wasn't working for the majority of the week, so I advise making sure it is working during check-in, as it was hard to get a response from the host during our stay. However, at the end when we informed her of the problem, she was very accommodating and compensated us fairly for it. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Tuscany!

A beautiful traditional agriturismo. Our apartment was really spacious and had everything we needed. Roberta was very friendly and helpful at check in. The pool area is a perfect place to relax. Great location for visiting Cortona, Montepulciano, Siena etc. Grazie mille

Es war, wie beschrieben, super und ruhig. Gerne wieder, notwendig wäre allerdings, dass es nicht nur eine Wegbeschreibung geben sollte, sondern die Schilder auch lesbar auf dem Weg angezeigt werden. Wir hatten schon Probleme mit dem Auffinden des Hauses.

This is a great place for afamily holiday in Tuscany. The apartment was one of 4 or 5 within a converted farmhouse. There was a large shared pool with plenty of room and loungers for everyone. Each apartment has its own area with table and chairs for dining outside so you can have some privacy if you wish. The apartments are well appointed with all you need to cook meals and eat in. Wi-fi and air con worked well. The surroundinga area is lovely with beautfiful hill top Cortoan about 5-10 km away and plenty restaurants, bars and supermakets there. It;s also an easy day trip to Sienna etc. All in all I would recommend this villa for anyone travelling to Tuscany.

Beautiful, Peaceful, Charming

A beautiful home away from home. Fantastic place to stay while touring the Tuscany region. We loved nearby Cortona and driving around to the other hillside towns but also loved the quiet down time around the pool. Highly recommend!

The property was in a lovely setting with fantastic 360 views. The apartment was a really good size, spacious, clean and in very good condition. The grounds and pool were excellent with plenty of space for other familys staying at the same time. Very safe place for children. There is a very useful games room which has Table tennis and other games. Great for children. There were bikes and its a great place to cycle however they were pretty old and were not all working. There is WIFFI which worked very well and although there is air conditioning it is expensive at 15 Euros a day as an additional charge. I would recommend this property to others. Worth a stay and plenty to do in the surrounding area.

Die Appartments sind mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail geschmack- und stilvoll eingerichtet worden und unsere Familie sowie Gäste haben sich alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Die beiden Vermieterinnen Romina und Roberta, sowie die für die Gäste zuständige Betreuerin Martina, waren sehr zuvorkommend, hatten immer ein offenes Ohr für unsere Fragen, und haben uns zusammen mit ihrem Team ein tolles Geburtstagsdinner mit toskanischen Spezialitäten unter freiem Himmel für unsere 36-köpfige Gesellschaft gezaubert. Hervorragend! Ein toskanischer Traum hat sich für uns erfüllt! It’s a stunning property with a wonderful view, big pool and a lovingly manicured garden. The apartments have been elegantly refurbished with a keen eye for detail and we felt very much at home. Romina and Roberta who own the property, as well as English speaking Martina, were extremely helpful in answering our many questions and helping out where they could. They also prepared and served us a wonderful and lavish 4-course open air birthday dinner with Tuscan delicacies for our party of 36 people. Amazing! If you’re after a Tuscan dream, don’t go past this wonderful property!

Beautiful farmhouse apartment in stunning location

The house was beautifully restored and set in spacious grounds. The pool was lovely, with plenty of loungers and a hammock. We made good use of the ping pong table in the barn (which could do with a couple of new bats) and we also borrowed the bikes. The nearby train track wasn't a problem - the trains weren't too frequent and they didn't disturb us. Romina and Roberta were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was clean and spacious with comfortable beds and plenty of towels. A few more cups and glasses would have been helpful for our family of five. We were glad of the mosquito nets over the windows in the evening. The area is very remote but the beautiful old towns of Cortona, Castiglione del Lago and Montepulciano were around 30 minutes drive away.

Poggio Gabbiano was even more beautiful than we imagined. The surrounding area was stunning and peaceful. We were worried that the nearby train track would be a problem but we hardly noticed the trains at all. Romina and Roberta were friendly and welcoming. The apartment was clean and spacious. As we were a family of five, a few more cups and glasses would have been useful, however there were plenty of towels provided and some toiletries too. The pool was lovely and my husband made good use of one of the bikes. We were also very pleased to find that there was a ping pong table and some games in the barn too. We had a fantastic holiday and really didn't want to leave!

As we were a family of five, a few more cups and glasses would have been useful, however there were plenty of towels provided and some toiletries too. The pool was lovely and my husband made good use of one of the bikes. We were also very pleased to find that there was a ping pong table and some games in the barn too. We had a fantastic holiday and really didn't want to leave!
