Ideal holiday location

Beautiful apartment, ideally located for day trips to Pienza, Perugia, Assisi, and of course Cortona. A lovely shared pool is perfect for cooling off. The only disadvantage is the thin walls, which make it easy to hear the neighbors' voices.

Beautiful setting and great location

We were very pleased with our stay at this property. It is in a lovely, quiet setting and is clean, spacious and well-equipped. It is very close to Cortona and a short drive to other hill towns. Camucia is just a few minutes' drive away for groceries. The property owners are very pleasant, helpful and responsive to questions. Would recommend!

Perfect vacation location!!!

A fabulous apartment in an amazing location!! Spacious and very clean, equipped with everything one could need for a long or short stay. It is the perfect spot as a base for exploring Tuscany and Umbria, or to just stay put and relax!!!! Ideal in every way....we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. Everything was fantastic, as was the host and her communication. A place we will definitely return to....Grazie Mille!!!!

Close to Cortona without the crowds

Very nice apartment in a quiet, rural location perfect for exploring Cortona and the surrounding area. We made full use of the pool when not sightseeing. Too hot while we were there to use the cute front garden at any time other than early morning, but it was appreciated nonetheless. We needed some help during our stay and our host, Elena, was always very prompt and helpful. We did hear some noise from the upstairs apartment, especially when they departed early one morning, but this is a condo and the place was otherwise incredibly peaceful.

What else can you ask for?

This is a super location for exploring Umbria and Tuscany around lake Trasimeno. Arezzo, Gubbio, Perugia, Assisi are easily reached. Siena, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Orivieto to the West open-up into Tuscany. Very good and spacy appartment, equipped with all you need for living (and cooking) there. For the two of us, one bedroom was fine. Highlight was the pool; very clean and not busily used. Rather cold water- but nice as it was very hot weather. There is also a private garden in front of the appartment and a table and chairs for using it. Very nice for breakfast outside. You definitely need your car to go anywhere. But then, Cortona is just a few minutes away. We had problems finding the entrance. If you enter "Casa Sparse Cortona" on your navi, you may find it better. GPS-location is: N43.265048° / E 12.009811° (that will guide you to the car-entrance). Passenger-entrance is just opposite the small church.

Se potessimo, resteremmo per sempre

Un appartamento davvero bello e super accogliente con una piscina abbastanza grande. C'è anche un giardino privato e, se vuoi, puoi fare anche il barbecue. Abbiamo viaggiato con il nostro piccolo coniglietto, che si è sentito subito a casa, proprio come noi. Grazie E. per averci ospitato.

Sehr schöne, grüne und ruhige Gegend

Der Empfang bei Elena war sehr nett, wir konnten uns gut verständigen. Anfangs war die Wohnung sehr kalt, es wurde aber sofort Abhilfe geschaffen. Die gesamte Wohnung war topsauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Woran wir uns allerdings erst gewöhnen mussten, war die durchgehende Matratze und Bettdecke ( englische "Steckung" ) Außerdem war es an einigen Tagen sehr laut durch die Gartenarbeiten (auch am Sonntag) und der Pool war noch außer Betrieb.Aber im Großen und Ganzen war es sehr schön!!!

Het was een heerlijke vakantie die we hier hebben doorgebracht. Eigenlijk was alles aanwezig wat je nodig heb. Het zwembad was fijn. Wat we miste waren fijne stoeltjes om buiten te zitte .
