Ty Newydd is a lovely detached cottage near the village of Llangadfan just nine miles from Lake Vyrnwy in Mid Wales. The cottage can sleep fifteen in one super king-size bedroom with a sofa bed suitable for children under 10 only and en-suite shower, one family room with super king-size double and two single with en-suite shower, one king-size double with en-suite shower, one double and two twin together with family bathroom and ground floor cloakroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with dining area and two sitting rooms, one with woodburner. Outside is ample off road parking and extensive gardens and furniture. Ty Newydd is a luxurious cottage and is ideal for large groups of families or friends to enjoy touring this beautiful part of the country.

Town: The small, traditional village of Llangadfan in Powys is an excellent central location for exploring all of Mid Wales and beyond into Snowdonia and Shropshire. Llangadfan boasts Glyndwrs Way footpaths and the Foel Ramble, a 4 mile walk overlooking the hills of Montgomeryshire and also it is close to the Cambrian and Berwyn mountain ranges where there is wonderful scenery in all directions. The village also has a pub/restaurant and a shop/tea room, and the Cann Office Hotel, just one mile away has a bar, restaurant and gardens and was formerly Cae ’n Fos, a medieval fortified camp on a bend on the River Banwy.
