Comfortable well equipped house in beautiful area. Excellent for hikers.

The house lies in the hills a few kilometers above Vega de San Mateo, a pleasant village with grocery stores and restaurants. Walk a few kilometers further up the hill to a varied landscape of cacti and also pine forests on the side of a deep gorge. From there, it is a day hike to Roque Nublo. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Maria kept apologizing about her English, but it was very good and communication was not a problem. They run a small grocery store next door where you can buy very nice fruit as well as other groceries. The house is clean. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals at home. The large living room has a high ceiling and Spanish TV. The beds (double bed in the master bedroom, two single beds in the second bedroom and two more in the loft) are comfortable. Electric heaters keep the house warm on cool evenings.We very much enjoyed our stay in this house.

la casa esta bastante bien, tiene de todo lo necesario, una terraza con árboles frutales y barbacoa que dan un toque señorial a la finca, los propietarios son muy amables y atentos, el único pero es que no hay mucho aparcamiento. Repetiremos seguro.s
