Farm cottage (5 / 7p), calm & leisure, Paradiski, Vanoise, in the land of Beaufort

In La Chenarie (1500 m), a pleasant hamlet in the commune of Peisey-Nancroix, there is an agricultural activity devoted to cattle breeding (Tarine breed) and the production of Beaufort & other mountain cheeses which brighten up our taste buds so much.
You will be welcomed by these passionate breeders who strive to exercise an activity that combines respect for traditions and modernism. If you wish, you are welcome to discover the agricultural and cheese activities and share a moment of gourmet conviviality around local dairy products.
The cottage is located in an old hay barn. Below the cheese making remains from October to June, the herd remains in a free housing 50 m higher. In summer, cows, shepherds and cheese makers join the mountain pastures at Vallon des Rossets, located 4 km from the hamlet of La Chenarie. If you wish, you can discover this agro-pastoral life.

You will appreciate the calm of the mountain setting of Chenarie and enjoy the comfort of our brand new apartment:
- Spacious living room (living room + dining room) with large picture window overlooking the garden. TV and Wifi.
- Fully equipped integrated kitchen (fridge / freezer, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, various equipment (including raclette and fondue appliance!)
- Sleeping accommodation: 2 large bedrooms (one with 1 double bed in 160 and the other with 4 single beds), convertible sofa (2 pers) and baby cot optional.
- Bathroom with large walk-in shower and double sink.
- Cellar hiding the WC corner and allowing a large storage + washing machine and drying rack.
Located on the ground floor, you have a large plot (70 m2), with a view of the Bellecôte massif. Barbecue + wood available. Garden table and chairs. Children can safely roam the alleys of the hamlet.
- Access to the cottage, located on one level, directly by car. Covered parking all year. It is also possible to store all leisure equipment (trailer / skis / bike / etc.)

Additional services to be specified before your arrival:
Rental of sheets and beds made (€ 12 / person), household linen (2 tea towels: € 5 / stay), bath towels (€ 4 / person)

So that you benefit from a peaceful and unspoiled setting, between mountain pastures and hamlets with typical houses; you can enjoy all the tourist activities in the valley and small shops within a short distance.
- As close as possible, all year round, know that you are located at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, starting from many walks and / or hikes (hiking / mountain biking) but also on baroque and local heritage circuits (Vernettes chapel, Mine Palace). For the little ones, in summer, there is an equestrian center, tree climbing and a small leisure area. In winter, the "Nordic Site" offers many activities (cross-country skiing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, dog-sledding, ice climbing, walking or snowshoeing, ...). From your door you can also "put on" touring skis.
- Peisey-Nancroix (3 km) belongs to the resort of Peisey-Vallandry which is at the heart of the PARADISKI ski area (Les Arcs-La Plagne) and which offers kilometers of pistes and off-piste. Access to it by shuttle or by car (5 mins). Return to the apartment possible by a small off-piste depending on the snow cover. In summer, the resort offers many tourist and leisure activities from white water sports on Landry (10 km) to mountaineering and paragliding (take-off in the ski area).
- It is in Peisey-Nancroix that you find small village shops. During tourist periods, you will stroll to other shops in the hamlets of the resort (Vallandry / Plan-Peisey - 5km).
