THE HECTOR CALDERA NEST

The interior of this House is a 18 square meters room ideal for one couple. It has one built-in Queen size bed and a bathroom. Hector Caldera Nest is equipped with a SMEG mini bar and an espresso machine.

Outdoor

The private veranda offers a 20 square metes!!! private space for relaxing, dinning, or even sunbathing, having as a background the most breathtaking views of Santorini: the Volcano, the caldera cliff and Thirassia Island.

The Hector Caldera Nest is situated in a very convenient location, right on the main path of Oia traditional settlement.
Within walking distance, visitors can reach all the highlights of Oia and wonder around picturesque shops, cozy restaurants and romantic caldera-view cafes. Also, the house lies a few steps from the old castle and the best viewing spot for the famous Oia sunset.

Although close to local activity, the house provides peacefulness and privacy, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the marvelous view from the terrace.

My husband & I stayed here during our stay in Santorini for our honeymoon. The staff was absolutely incredible & the place was perfect. Location was amazing. It was in the heart of Oia, but still felt quiet & peaceful. The terrace was our favorite part!! We highly recommend it to anyone!

Perfect in every way

There are really no words for how wonderful this place, Giannis and his team are. The view from the house is indescribable. Every detail is perfect, from daily cleanings and turndown service, coffee, water and snacks provided, to some special surprises I won’t spoil for you! The location is ideal, right off the Main Street of Oia but on a quiet end where you feel like you get a quiet respite. We loved relaxing in the pool and just staring at the caldera. We would never stay anywhere else!

Two days in Oia

The hector house was a great location to be right in the action of Oia overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean Sea! I wish it had more of a view of the city as both walls blocked the view of the iconic Oia houses on the cliff, but it was a great property for privacy and seclusion away from all of the action of the city. It was also a perfect location and walking distance to everything like great restaurants and oia sunset spots. Everyone on staff was incredibly helpful and informative and helped us with setting up a transfer from the ferry docks, finding the house once we arrived to town, making recommendations on things to do and places for eat during our stay and setting up an ATV rental for us to tour the rest of the island with.

Oia Cave Gem

Hector Cave House was the perfect little stay in Oia. The view was incredible, the bed was comfortable, and the location was right in the middle of where you want to be. Not to mention the cave shower is excellent. Dana and Dimitrius were helpful and friendly, and under their care, you will want for nothing. If you need restaurant or activity suggestions, just ask them! I highly recommend this stay.

Amazing stay in Oia!

We enjoyed our stay in Hector Calera Nest! The apartment is comfortable, clean, well decorated and has an amazing view! We loved using the patio to relax and enjoy watching the sea. We weren't able to meet Giannis, but he called to welcome us. Danna and Dimitris helped us with our bags and did a wonderful job keeping the apartment clean during our stay. They were very helpful and friendly, providing great recommendations and a map. We recommend taking the steps to Ammoudi, walking to the beach to swim, and having lunch!

I am Giannis, 36 years old and I grew up in Athens.
After studying and working abroad (UK and Switzerland) for 5 years,I decided to come back in Greece and work for a family business.

In 1998 my parents visited Santorini Island and they fell in love with Oia village where they bought that picturesque cave house…
Since then all about my summer vacations is to lay back at that terrace and admire the spectacular view.

Traveling is to share…
There is no better way of doing this, other than sharing the experience with other travelers.

Of course I will not lose any chance to discover unique destinations like Santorini around the world…
