Gorgeous villa!

The villa was perfect, better than expected. Lovely spacious rooms, spotlessly clean, and wonderful pool and outdoor area. Being right next to the taverna was a bonus. Fabio was super helpful online with recommendations as was Andrea who greeted us. Both very friendly and helpful. The little village of Spilia was very traditional and just 5 minutes from the beach. Very highly recommend 😊

Lovely Villa in Spilia

The villa was very well appointed situated 10mins drive from Kolymbari and 35 mins from Chania airport. Situated in the little village of Spilia set above a charming taverna in the tree covered square below. Pool views jacuzzi and bbq added to the ambiance and aircon inside was more than adequate as was the WiFi. A small good local shop was10mins walk away down the hill but there are good supermarkets in Kolymbari. A special mention must be made of the brothers and staff who run the taverna near the villa. They are so helpful and welcoming. The communication with Fabio and his manager Andrea was impressive. This is the first time I have been met and shown around a rental property even when we were delayed and arrived at close to midnight. We were able to book airport transfers through Fabio then rented a car. He also gave us some great local suggestions and links to yacht cruise and private dining options. Pizza in Villa were superb for my wife’s birthday. In short we can’t wait to come back.

Empfehlenswert

Die ersten 2 Wochen im Mai hatten wir zu 4 (2 Paare) in dieser Villa einen schönen Urlaub. Die Anreise hat gut funktioniert und die Betreuung durch Andrea war sehr gut. Man konnte Ihn jederzeit erreichen und Fragen wurden schnell beantwortet. Die Villa selbst ist ruhig gelegen, bietet einen schönen Ausblick bis in die Berge. Zur Villa gehört ein Privat-Parkplatz, zwei ausreichend grosse Terassen und ein grosser Balkon für die oberen beiden Schlafzimmer. Für die Ausstattung insgesamt bekommt die Villa von uns 5*****, denn mit Pool, Jacuzzi, Aussendusche, Tischtennis, 3 Schlafzimmern mit jeweils eigenem Badezimmer, komplett ausgestatteter Küche, Klimaanlagen in allen Räumen, reichlich deutsche Fernsehprogramme und ein grosser Wohn- und Essbereich. Da ist alles komplett. Etwas ungewohnt war für uns die Situation, jegliches Papier nach einem Toilettengang im Eimer zu sammeln und im Container zu entsorgen, aber problematisch war das nicht. Dass man insgesamt den Betrieb der elektrischen Geräte etwas koordinieren muss, nervt schon etwas, alles zusammen geht leider nicht. Wenn wir abends etwas mit der Klimaanlage heizten, hat immer mal die Sicherung den Vorgang beendet. Dann war auch Fernseher und Wlan tot. Naja, wir sind damit zurecht gekommen. Es fehlten uns ein paar bequeme Auflagen für die Aussenliegen und die reichlich vorhandenen Info-Unterlagen in deutscher Sprache. Und am Ende bleibt noch zu erwähnen, dass "deutsche Sauberkeit" natürlich anders ist, wir haben alle uns wichtigen Küchenutensilien erstmal gereinigt. Für all die kleinen Minuspunkte ziehen wir daher einen Stern in der Bewertung ab, für uns war das akzeptabel. Wir würden die Villa auf jeden Fall empfehlen, bis 6 Personen ist hier ausreichend Platz. Unterhalb der Villa ist ein grösseres Gartenrestaurant. Während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde hier erst die Saison eingeläutet, daher war da nicht viel los. Wie es ist, wenn dort richtig Betrieb ist, können wir nicht beurteilen, aber die Lautstärke könnte für "Früh-schlafen-geher" problematisch werden.

Belle prestation

3 chambres avec leur sdb, piscine et spa, dans le village avec un restaurant sur la place qui est parfait. Très agréable maison avec tout le confort souhaitable. A 35mn de Ballos et a 10mn de la plage. Tout était parfait.

Urlaub wie zu Hause

Das Haus ist recht gut eingerichtet, vom Korkenzieher bis zum Whirlpool ist an alles gedacht (Waschmaschine, Mikrowelle, Staubsauger, Leinen/Ständer mit Klammern, Grill, Kaffeemaschine, jedes Zimmer mit WC/Dusche etc.). Alleinig, das Fernsehprogramm ist für Deutsche ungeeignet (Sat --> Hotbird), aber dann kann man ja auch in Deutschland bleiben, zumal freies WLAN zur Verfügung steht, das allerdings nicht in jeder Ecke des Hauses zur Verfügung steht.

Perfect holiday home

The kids and I enjoyed our holiday enormously. The house is perfect, low key and well equipped and comfortable. I would not hesitate rebooking for another visit. Contact with Andrea (and also Fabio) always got a quick and helpful response. We've stayed in this village before, and think it's the ideal location for exploring western Crete. Walking distance to local tavernas always positive, but also less than 10 minutes by car to the coast. 10/10. Thank you for a great holiday.

Lovely stay in a lovely village

We rented this villa in Spilia to be able to visit Chania, to see Balos beach and Elafonissi beach. It was in the middle of those destinations, it was a great stay. The brothers from the taverna nearby are very helpfull and nice. The food is great there. The villa is exactly as we saw it in the pictures and Fabio was very nice too.

incredible property in Spilia!!!!

a great villa with jacuzzi right next to the private pool, amazing view from the pool and the balcony on the first floor. We enjoyed our stay!!!!! the house was full equipped with 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms such as kitchen and the living room area was very comfortable!! we recommend this property and wish to go back next year!!!!

Ottima villa e vacanza!

L' altro mese abbiamo trascorso una piu' che ottima vacanza in questa stupenda villa e nella bellissima zona di Chania a Creta!La villa e' veramente quasi perfetta e non manca nulla e soprattutto ottima la jacuzzi outdoor riscaldata che ci ha permesso di fare il bagno anche se era Marzo. Torneremo sicuro e consigliamo questa villa a tutti !

Great stay in this place

We usually go to Greece in July and August, but this time we went there in September. It was a great idea, the weather was great and we really appreciated the place. The pool is nice, not too big but enough to swim and enjoy. The jacuzzi was also very nice after spending the days in the beach or visiting the region. We were not far from nice beaches as Kolymbari, Elafonissi and Balos. Paleochora was only an hour drive. The villa is fully equipped and our kids enjoyed the Tennis table too. The villa is located in the lovely little village of Spilia, in which you can find a little taverna owned by 3 brothers.... Probably one of the best taverna of the island.

Fantastic villa in Spilia

We spent a wonderful Holiday in this villa with a nice view on the mountains and on the country. It is very comfortable. You will find here all you need : dishwasher, washing machine, BBQ, etc. Il is only 3 km from the seaside, from the shops and from the restaurants but it is situated in a very quiet area. the villa has a nice swimming pool and also a jacuzzi, which are both very pleasant to enjoy a pleasant time at home. there is also a table tennis table which our children appreciated a lot especially in the evening after coming back from the sea. we really recommend this villa for people who want a quiet and comfortable Holiday.

Vacances superbes , villa super confortable et bien équipée .tres bien entretenue, tout était propre et net à notre arrivée. Nous avons particulièrement appréciés la terrasse avec BBQ, jaccuzi, le calme et la vue sur la campagne. Je recommande pour le confort et le calme sans être trop loin de tout.

Great holidays in a Great Villa!

We spent two wonderful warm and sunny November weeks at this great place. The villa is tastefully decorated with everything you need for a pleasant stay. It is located on top of the traditional village of Spilia surrounded by olive trees,nature and an amazing scenery of mountains and the ocean. It is a place where you find restfulness and relaxation especially on the sunny terrace at day times and at clear nights with a sky full of stars. It has a nice garden and outdoor area with several seats and a big swimming pool. We love to have dinner oustside with BBQ! The place itself is great, clean and well equipped 5 stars and I will recommended to everybody!
