Walker Friendly Apartment
The property is as described on the site. It was neat, clean, and located in a good central area to walk to just about anywhere on the island you may want. There are two sweet shops nearby if you have children (I recommend Pralines since their employees are friendlier), and beach access is only two houses down. For the adults, there is a brewery and several eateries/bars within a block of the apartment.
There is an outside shower so you can wash off the sand before going inside and a shared area in the back to just relax in. Another plus to the area is that this part of the beach is not as congested as the north end or around the pier. We got to watch a pod of dolphins swimming in the area and overall it was just so much calmer than other parts of the beach. I used the kitchen for breakfast and lunch with no problem and there were enough dishes and utensils provided to cover just about any meal you could cook.
The towels and sheets were soft, a pleasant surprise, and smelled wonderful. There wasn't that odd smell you get with some rentals near a beach, and the grounds were maintained. We plan to come back and hopefully be able to continue renting this particular unit.
