Cottage with 2 bedrooms, kitchen-living room, garden and balcony overlooking the sea. When more than a century ago this characteristic little house overlooking the extraordinary Tyrrhenian Sea (equipped with an autonomous and lovely garden) became, with the help of the maiden's grandmother, the alcove of two young lovers who escaped the wrath of their respective families who absolutely did not want them to become a couple for everyone, it became the home of the newlyweds. Even today, in fact, in memory of the beauty and strength of pure feelings, it is used as a love nest for young married couples who want to live their first wedding night where a single stone is imbued with feeling and purity.

L'Ecovillaggio di Belmonte è il luogo ideale per chi vuole vivere una vacanza all'insegna del relax. Il borgo dell'ecovillaggio è tranquillo, curato in ogni dettaglio e gestito con costante attenzione dai proprietari delle strutture. Il paese si trova a pochi km dal mare, e l'appartamento U Canalu gode non soltanto di una vista meravigliosa ma anche di un piccolo giardino privato, dove spesso abbiamo trascorso le nostre cene. La casa è originale negli arredamenti, confortevole, pulita, e fresca anche nelle giornate più calde. Gabriella e Gianfranco sono sempre pronti a dare consigli, da cui traspare l'amore e la passione per la propria terra. Da non perdere una cena nel ristorantino del villaggio.

Per una vacanza tranquilla e gustosa.

Con mia moglie, nella seconda metà di agosto 2017 siamo stati in vacanza a Belmonte Calabro un paese che si affaccia al mare con una splendida vista avvantaggiata dalla collina sulla quale sorge. Ci hanno accolto con il consueto sorriso Gabriella e Gianfranco, che sono stati l'anima e le braccia della ristrutturazione di alcune abitazioni di questo borgo. Siamo stati ospitati nella casa U Canalu che è ora un accogliente bilocale su due livelli entrambi di suggestiva atmosfera rustica, che fa pensare a tempi passati e che è allo stesso tempo confortevole e dotato di tutti i servizi necessari e in perfetto funzionamento. Che nostalgia! ... le tranquille colazioni sul terrazzo privato: sento ancora il sapore fruttato delle marmellate di produzione locale che abbiamo acquistato nel simpatico negozietto ricavato in un'altra unità del borgo, dove abbiamo potuto acquistare anche vari regali per i nostri amici e parenti. Spiagge poco affollate e mare molto bello e pulito, poi la sera ci siamo fatti coccolare dalla cordialità serena e mai invadente dei nostri albergatori che nel loro Ristorantino ci hanno fatto gustare, con qualità e capacità culinaria, tanti prodotti locali con piatti sempre gradevoli e con interessante alternanza mare-monti. Consigliatissimo: magari ci si vede là dato che noi sicuramente torneremo.

Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen

Nachdem ich im September diesen Jahres schon eine Woche in Belmonte Calabro im Haus "I Chiani" verbracht und dort eine wunderschöne Zeit mit meinem Enkel verlebt habe, entschloss ich mich, im Oktober nochmals für einige Tage hinzufahren. Diesmal hatte ich das Haus "U Canalu" gebucht. Ein Haus mit zwei Zimmern, einer integrierten Kochzeile, angebaut an den Fels, auf und an dem das Dorf gebaut wurde. Es gibt einen kleinen Garten mit Mandarinenbaum, der mittags Schatten spendet und einen Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer. Das Haus wurde liebevoll restauriert, ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt, sauber und sehr gemütlich. Es hat eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre ... man spürt, dass man in einem Haus mit Geschichte wohnt. In den Ort Belmonte Calabro hatte ich mich schon bei meinem ersten Aufenthalt verliebt, in seine vielen kleinen Gassen, Treppen und Winkel, in seine Ruhe und die Friedlichkeit, die ihn umgibt. Dazu kommt die Freundlichkeit, Hilsbereitschaft und Gastfreundlichkeit der Gastgeber Gabriella und Gianfranco, die auch eine kleine Trattoria betreiben, in der man sehr gut kalabresisch essen und selbstgemachte Weine und Liköre probieren kann. Auch das Konzept des "Albergo diffuso" ... die Restauration und Renovation der alten, verlassenen Häuser und deren Umbau in Ferienhäuser mit Hilfe baubiologischer Materialien und einheimischer Handwerker ... hat mich überzeugt. Ich werde nächstes Jahr wieder hinfahren ...

Special Place with Special People!

I spent various days at Belmonte Calabro with the kind attention of Eco Vacanze Belmonte and I must say it was an amazing experience. Gabriella and Gianfranco refurnished old houses with a high attention to traditional details aiming to preserve the historical heritage of the medieval town and its traditional architecture paying high attention to details. In fact each house have a different chimney and name. Furthermore, aiming at bringing back life to town Gabriella, Gianfranco and his brother made a major effort to keep history alive, so by walking around you will see messages and charts with historical information. Also, these houses offers to visitors the experience of living like a local in a historical town. You wont feel as a tourist as such. Being there during spring and summer it is an amazing experience where you can get charged by the sun and also enjoy to take figs directly from the tree. This place is to really enjoy time-off, get real rest and enjoy a different kind of vacation. It is perfect for introspection for a long stay and get inspired to finish any pending project and also it is so romantic it can be a perfect location for a honeymoon and even a wedding!

VERY GOOD SERVICES AND MORE....

This Medieval Village was so good on everything, staring with staff people and the owner was extremely polite and very courteous with me and my wife. We were in Calabria for 10 days we had stay in about 3 different hotels in the area, this was the best one we stayed and I wish we knew about it before, but we are coming back next year. Every request we had was immediately taking care from the staff which were very helpful and very polite. The Medieval Village was very nice and clean and furniture were very cute!! Me and my wife are so happy and grateful with each one of them, they really know how to take care their guest!!! We strongly recommend it. Thank you Gabriella!

SUBLIME!

Se dovessi consigliare una vacanza non avrei dubbi! Albergo diffuso di Gabriella e Gianfranco. Paese stupendo che ti lascia senza fiato e senza parole, gestito da persone serie e competenti. Il loro tocco rende unica e indimenticabile la vacanza. Appartamenti puliti e unici per bellezza e particolarità. Il loro ristorante, con terrazza vista mare e angoli incantevoli unito da una cucina e un servizio impeccabile. In poche parole, vacanza stupenda e indimenticabile. I 1000 kilometri che abbiamo fatto per arrivare sono valsi tutti. CONSIGLIATO.
