Beautiful week in February

A very large, clean and comfortable apartment. Amazing views of Funchal and cruise ship harbour. I must add a car would be helpful unless you’re into hill walking, as we are. We didn’t have a car but did walk into Funchal on four occasions took about half an hour and a little longer on the return as uphill. I would highly recommend a stay here but with a car unless hardy walkers. The small shop up the hill by the church was enough for our needs and nearby restaurant was excellent. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your amazing apartment. Ron and Mandy.

Très bel appartement, très bien situé, de beaux espaces de vie, une vue splendide sur Funchal, quartier très calme, parking devant sans souci. Un petit bémol sur la literie.

Lovely flat, but….

Too isolated from restaurants and the action. We are not party animals by any stretch but as a self catering unit you need to bring everything including serviettes. The view is amazing but unless you want to drive steep hills to get a cup of coffee in the morning this is not the place. Mosquitoes and no screens are a problem. WiFi was a puzzle to log onto and once on, intermittent.

One of the few places I have stayed where the photo was true!!

Excellent property, clean and everything that you need for a great stay. Quiet, comfortable and great views. Asked for a late checkout as our flight was in the evening and they happily obliged. Recommend a car as the roads are steep in Madeira and getting up to the village centre tested us! Thank you Louis.
