Wanting a beautiful ocean front getaway? This rental is a 1 Bedroom,1 Bath condo on the second floor of the Sonoran Sea Resort. Nicely located on the end of the complex complete with front and side balconies. Ideally located one floor from the restaurant, across from the gym, and right in front of the swimming pools (1 heated year round), hot tubs, and swim-up bar area. The beach is just steps away.

Nicely equipped condo, but

I think one of the elements on the water heater may have failed - it's a bit difficult to determine but the quantity of hot water was very small. Otherwise, condo and resort was clean, well equipped. Staff were attentive and friendly. Good stay. Would book again

Excellent Host and location

Great condo. The host was very personable and called me prior to the trip. Reasons were to answer any questions we had and to meet me. We had a delightful conversation and Al was very nice. I will definitely come back in a few months and hopefully there’s an opening. I highly recommend the owner and the resort.

Comfortable Stay

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The condo was just as expected, very clean and the plumbing worked well - which is not always the case at Sonoran Sea. Check-in was rough. Too many people arriving at the same time without enough people working the front desk. We were happy that the pool was heated this time but they really should heat the kids' pool as well so there are not so MANY children (and their pool toys) in the swim-up bar pool splashing adults and their beverages. Because of the blustery weather we stayed in one night and got pizza from the restaurant downstairs - we were pleasantly surprised that it was very good. All in all a great place to stay when at Sandy Beach.

We love the location .

This unit is on the 2nd floor .We have a stairway down to the ground level , which gives real easy access to the pool area . The unit is well equipped . Good TV and Internet .The pool area it is so nice to have a heated pool at 92 F. No problem getting . If you like a cooler pool they have that right beside the heated one . Attendents in pool area are very friendly . People in the swim up bar are very good with a smile as they serve you .

Great Property and Location!

I’ve stayed at this property on several occasions especially for Roger Clyne events since the venue is in walking distance. It’s a great location on the beach, good food and bars all with in walking and of course the concert venue. The unit is on the second floor. Beautiful view of the ocean and pool area with a good balcony for watching the sunset. It’s a comfy unit for a couple. Everything was very clean, well stocked and ready with the exception of the water heater but the property maintenance fixed that very quickly. I would absolutely recommend this property and unit as a great place to stay in Puerto Peñasco!

Great location with beautiful views from its amazing deck. Fairly old unit that could use some paint on cupboards, doors etc., but very clean and nicely decorated.

I Would Stay Here Again

We had a great time in RP, as always. This was our first time at this property. Was it perfect? What is. Everyone was friendly, we were safe, we were comfortable (not even divots in the bed) the location was just where we wanted to be and there is a toaster in the pantry, most excellent! And, that I will return means a lot. We enjoyed the heated pool (in November) and it was nice to have the restaurants right out front when we didn't want to go to town.
